2008 BAN Wagon Support Group

I did some shopping today at the Dollar spot. I bought the mailboxes and some ribbon for the Cricut Swarm this weekend, I'm bringing goodie bags. And I bought some mini Prima packs for $.99 a piece at my LSS, and the paper to wrap the boxes of course. I think I spent about $5 a mailbox. I think that is a good deal.

but nothing for me...... I must be ill or something. :rotfl2:

I did a little shopping yesterday - but I think I am within what I committed to mostly....I got the mickey combo cuttlebug thing with a coupon and some paper that I needed for swaps - I got a few extra white and black but that was mostly it. Oh yes and 8 for $1 8.5x11s - bought $3 worth but know what I'm going to do with it.

It was nice to indulge a smidge but not go nuts -all sizzix were 50% off and I just browsed........

Again, I drove past the Michaels, Target, Hobby Lobby and Big Lots (this one was really hard to do). I really wanted to stop, but since the only thing I really need are some Buzz Lightyear things for the page kit, I didn't do it. No coupon with me for Hobby Lobby.

AWM, I'm soooo with you on the Big Lots thing. Today,I had to take a package to FedEx which is right around the corner from our Big Lots. I really wanted to go in there too, but I didn't. (I love finding good scrapbook deals there.) I still have to use up the previous year's Big Lots deals.

i love my big lots! but both of mine are a bit away, so when i do go.....look out. dh just said last weekend, "hey lets go to big lots. we have not been there in forever!!!" and i just shook my head and walked away. because i know, i'm definitely off the wagon if i walk in there!!!

I have to go to JoAnn's get more paper for the Buzz Lightyear page kits. I don't have enough for 8 mats and other elements. The good thing is there is no Big Lots in that direction. The bad thing is that there is a Target right next to JoAnn's, my LSS is around the corner, a Michael's shares the driveway to the LSS and a Hobby Lobby is on the way home. Not to mention that there is a Dollar Tree in the Hobby Lobby parking lot.

I will be strong, I will be strong, I will be strong.

YOU CAN DO IT!!! STAY STRONG! I THINK YOU CAN, I THINK YOU CAN, I THINK YOU CAN!

I had another little stumble  I decided the best thng to store ribbons was to get those plastic things you wind embroidery floss round, as I tend not to have whole reels very often. Well, the cheapest place was free postage if you spend £5, s once the winders were in the basket (90p) I added some square brads I needed £1.99 and a doodle template (for all those home-made cards I'll be doing) £3.45. Total £6.34 - BUT I didn't have to pay £2 postage which is money for nothing IMHO! And the stuff got here today before DH got home so all hidden....er.....packed away tidily now;)

But I've got my 2nd chance swap to play with so I won't need anything else for a bit:thumbsup2

Ok scrappers, help me!!! I am going to Hobby Lobby with my MIL this afternoon. They have paper on sale 5 for $1.... that is going to be hard to resist. They only have a 25% off coupon this week (it's usually 40%), so I should be able to resist most other things. Its the paper that I may crater on.

I went to my LSS and used the $10 I had from filling up my punchcard. I was good and only spent $10 for paper I need for my New England book. I was at HL on Wednesday and they had Paper Dolls in stock, but I resisted, mostly because I spent most of my spending money in Chicago and will wait until payday to get it. And it was on my list of OK purchases so I won't be going off the wagon.

Sorta fell off the wagon today. I went to ACM to get some xyron refills since they were 40% off. Got 3 for my 150 and 1 for my 510... about $22. Well i browesed over to the embellies since they were 40% off and picked up about packs of the new american krafts big brads and photo corners. Do I need them... no, but like them. I am just looking at them thinking they need to go back. I also got the arylic stamp journaling set I have been looking at since the end of dec. It was 40% off and I had that on my list of okay to buy.

So I spent about $25 on the embellies and stamp set. Should the embellies go back?

acrylic journaling set?
at acmoore?

I need one and have been looking for one, who makes it?

Well I dodged a bullet yesterday! We ended up not going to Hobby Lobby- too cold and rainy. So I am still on the wagon.

I fell off the wagon!:woohoo: I fell off the wagon!! :woohoo: Told ya I was going to.:rolleyes1 :lmao: I am taking full responsibility for my actions.

I got not one but two new carts today. On the way, I said to my husband the carts are half price, can't decide to get one or two. He said ah, get two. Okay dear, if you insist!:lovestruc

Who is going to give me a hand getting back up into the wagon?

OK, Lisa, you fell off and I am helping you back on.........but don't let it happen again, Missy!!!

Which carts did you get? :)

Can't say it won't happen again :rolleyes1 but thanks for the lift back up.:thumbsup2

I got Beyond Birthdays and My Community. I really like the Beyond Birthdays, gave me several card ideas. Yah, like I make a lot of cards, usually one a year, Mother's Day for Mom. :rotfl2:

Welcome back on the wagon Lisa. Now who has the ginormous Crop o' Dile II to make sure she doesn't fall off again????????
