Hi debi

Hi debi
Whew the work day is finally over. It was a busy one. Michele I LOVE watching the Mickey hands wave at us. I stand mid-ship on deck 10 until we are away from the port and then move up to the front. Sail away is awesome! I also LOVE the Mickey Horn. My phone makes that sound when I get a text message. Ian giggles, he says it sounds like my purse it "tooting".
Guess what- I started counting my WW points today. I was so good but I was convinced that I was starving. Next step, break out the exercise DVD. I had planned on it today but was too busy. My weigh ins at home will be on Monday nights. DH said he would hold a meeting for me if I needed him to. I said - the girls on the DIS will help me outHopefully I'll have to buy all new clothes for the trip but I'll settle for fitting better in the ones I have. What's everyone up to tonight?
I don't think you are being a downer at all! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!!! I hope you get some real answers soon. The not knowing what actually is going on is soooo stressfull. We got called by Keegan's school nurse to pick him up again this afternoon at 3:15 after he had more chest pains/shoulder pain. I think I'm going to be needing the psych ward myself. I had his oncologist paged since he was not in the clinic and he put my mind a bit at ease saying overall the positive improvements are still better than he was last week and he said the pain is from a nerve that radiates from the mass. He said pain was normal for this kind of mass, which he says they still haven't officially diagnosed. One of the conditions stated on the paperwork I googled (and I shouldn't have because it made me even more of a basket case) and said there's only been 20 cases in 20 years. He told me to watch his breathing and to make sure I page their emergency number is I think he's getting worse. Keegan has an appointment to see this oncologist tomorrow and will get more blood work. If they feel that his condition is deteriorating, they will admit him on IV antibiotics for a week and have the surgeons take a look at him. I don't mean to be a downer on an otherwise uplifting fun thread, but thanks for listening. I am trying to stay as positive as I can, it's just so nerve wracking.
I love watching the mickey hands(the family thinks i am a dork) and room service is so my thing.
We have never been on a Disney Cruise but l'll have what your having![]()

Brennan had a dental visit earlier and his dentist pulled out one of his top front teeth which had been dangling by a thread the last month. He looks so cute with such a huge gap. I was surprised it didn't come out at wrestling Saturday or Sunday. He won 1st place in his age/weight division in his final wrestling tournament yesterday and got another huge trophy. His baseball coach has already called to start practice next Monday. I sure wish there was some more down time in youth sports these days. I want them to be involved in sports, but they are all such a huge time commitment.
I had to get my parents completed trip insurance paperwork from the pediatrician's office this afternoon since they canceled their trip/cruise to Florida last Tuesday after Keegan's CT results. It had a copy of the CT results and I finally read past the second line. It made me sick to my stomach to read. I'm waiting on hearing back from the doctor's office about when he'll do his blood work this week and next CT scan. I thought he was doing better and then last night he said his chest hurt when he ran a few paces after his friend at wrestling (before I caught him and yelled at them to stop). I made him sleep with us again and watched him half the night. I feel like I'm going to have a nervous breakdown waiting on next week's CT scan. I read the current diagnosis of a possible bronchogenic cyst and it's just as scary reading about case studies as the lymphoma diagnosis. I just want to know what it is and have it gone. To top everything off this week, my twin brother had to have an emergency appendectomy last night.
I sure hope this week turns out better than the last 7 days.
Its been quiet here the last few days so here is a question for everyone...
What do you look forward to most on the cruise (your must do list)? If you haven't cruised what are you looking forward to trying?
Some of my favorite things...
Sail Away...Standing on Deck 10 watching the land slip away and the sense of relaxation that hits me when I realize I'm on vacation!
Dinners with no kids...I love my kids but it is nice to be a grown up and have a few meals with adults only
Watching the excitement in my kids faces with all the new experiences (seeing the ship, swimming, meeting the characters, etc)
Have to run do more PTA stuff but I can't wait to read everyone's responses...
Morning mandy,
What are your plans for today?
I am going to rake all the leaves out of my flower beds today..woohoo..all the plants are starting to sprout.
