Whew the work day is finally over. It was a busy one. Michele I LOVE watching the Mickey hands wave at us. I stand mid-ship on deck 10 until we are away from the port and then move up to the front. Sail away is awesome! I also LOVE the Mickey Horn. My phone makes that sound when I get a text message. Ian giggles, he says it sounds like my purse it "tooting".

Guess what- I started counting my WW points today. I was so good but I was convinced that I was starving. Next step, break out the exercise DVD. I had planned on it today but was too busy. My weigh ins at home will be on Monday nights. DH said he would hold a meeting for me if I needed him to. I said - the girls on the DIS will help me out :cheer2: Hopefully I'll have to buy all new clothes for the trip but I'll settle for fitting better in the ones I have. What's everyone up to tonight?

We have never been on a Disney Cruise but l'll have what your having:)
Debi

Hi Debi! You'll have a long list of your own after this cruise! The only problem is cruising get addictive.

Hi Sandy! Glad your long, busy day is over and you can join us. It must put a smile on your face every time you get a text message. What a great idea! I do the same thing as you at sail away...mid-ship deck 10 until we are out of the harbor then up to the front...I'll guess we'll be doing it together this trip!

Welcome to our dieting club...we'll all suffer now but think how good we will look in August!:cool1:

We got called by Keegan's school nurse to pick him up again this afternoon at 3:15 after he had more chest pains/shoulder pain. I think I'm going to be needing the psych ward myself. I had his oncologist paged since he was not in the clinic and he put my mind a bit at ease saying overall the positive improvements are still better than he was last week and he said the pain is from a nerve that radiates from the mass. He said pain was normal for this kind of mass, which he says they still haven't officially diagnosed. One of the conditions stated on the paperwork I googled (and I shouldn't have because it made me even more of a basket case) and said there's only been 20 cases in 20 years. He told me to watch his breathing and to make sure I page their emergency number is I think he's getting worse. Keegan has an appointment to see this oncologist tomorrow and will get more blood work. If they feel that his condition is deteriorating, they will admit him on IV antibiotics for a week and have the surgeons take a look at him. I don't mean to be a downer on an otherwise uplifting fun thread, but thanks for listening. I am trying to stay as positive as I can, it's just so nerve wracking.

I don't think you are being a downer at all! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!!! I hope you get some real answers soon. The not knowing what actually is going on is soooo stressfull. :grouphug: Hang in there!!!Debi

I love watching the mickey hands(the family thinks i am a dork) and room service is so my thing.

It's all these little things that make our Cruise. I like it when the Mickey Hands wave from Castaway Cay too :thumbsup2

We like to video the Sailaway too, I love to hear the ship's horn, it brings a tear to my eye :)

Danielle, I agree with Debi, it is the not knowing that's the most stressful, I just hope you're given some good news soon

So girls, what are your plans for today ? I don't need to go to my mums today, so I'm going to be good and do my exercise DVD as soon as the girls have gone off to school/college

Have a great day everyone :thumbsup2

Hello girls -

The GROUPIE is back!!!!!!! :cool1:

Ok - so, Michele - DON'T HATE me - but, we were FIVE rows from the stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG - :woohoo:

We were SHOCKED when we got there and saw where our seats were... I am in the process of uploading pics now - some came out oK - SOME - OMG - you can see the pores in Jon's face!!!!!!!!!!!! :scared1: Alright, maybe not that close!

I have to say though, the setlist from his bday was MUCH MUCH better, but the seats last night - you couldn't top them! We were behind the stage, but the view of his wiggling butt was FINE w/me!! :faint: And he did come up along the back.. I have one pic where he is RIGHT there - I mean RIGHT there!!

So... that is enough of my groupie report for now.. I have to work today, not sure how I am going to function - but I am going to try!!!

I have to catch up on the boards, I think I am a few pages behind.. not as bad as I thought it might be though!! I wasn't around ALL day yesterday, was doing PTA stuff for the end of "read across america" and I was at school ALL day - but, ABC news was there - and supposedly Ant was seen on TV last night - I DVR'd it - so, I'll check it out when I get home from work.. It's Back to reality today - I've been like an 18 year old groupie for the past 3 days - Saturday was the Soul game, and two nights of JBJ - AHhhhhhh.........

I'll TRY to post a few pics before I go to work - you all probably don't even care and are hoping I go away w/this crazy teenage rambling!! :rolleyes1

Laurie :lovestruc

Morning Laurie

It sounds like you had another fab night at the Bon Jovi concert. I look forward to seeing JBJ's pores (I think :rotfl2: :rotfl2: )

Glad you got good seats, you've been very lucky

Don't work too hard and have a good day :thumbsup2

I'm sitting here DISing now, I've just finished my exercise DVD and I'm worn out ;)

Ok.... so ARE you READY????????????

Mind you - it is a bit after 5 am here, so, I need to post and go to work, but this is the BEST pic I got - I'll send more of the other guys in the band later and Daughtry - that is IF You want to see them.. but, THIS pic - UHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........................

The seats were amazing - the pic I sent was a shot when Jon was over on thie ramp thing RIGHT in front of us... So, unfortunately, we weren't that close the whole time!!

I really DON'T want to go to work!! LOL But, I have to pay for my nights of fun and excitement!!! :lmao:

WTG on the video!! I haven't exercised in a while - like I said, today will be 'back to reality' - so, I'll start exercising tomorrow, I don't think I'll be functioning too well tonight!! LOL

Wow, what a great photo Laurie. I'm not surprised that you were happy with your seats, especially with that view :thumbsup2

I know you haven't exercised that last couple of days, but have you still been good with your eating ? :wizard: Good Luck with getting back into the swing of your exercising again :wizard:

OMG I hate you!!!:sad1: You should have driven here and picked me up...lol

Morning mandy,
What are your plans for today?

I am going to rake all the leaves out of my flower beds today..woohoo..all the plants are starting to sprout.

Brennan had a dental visit earlier and his dentist pulled out one of his top front teeth which had been dangling by a thread the last month. He looks so cute with such a huge gap. I was surprised it didn't come out at wrestling Saturday or Sunday. He won 1st place in his age/weight division in his final wrestling tournament yesterday and got another huge trophy. His baseball coach has already called to start practice next Monday. I sure wish there was some more down time in youth sports these days. I want them to be involved in sports, but they are all such a huge time commitment.

I had to get my parents completed trip insurance paperwork from the pediatrician's office this afternoon since they canceled their trip/cruise to Florida last Tuesday after Keegan's CT results. It had a copy of the CT results and I finally read past the second line. It made me sick to my stomach to read. I'm waiting on hearing back from the doctor's office about when he'll do his blood work this week and next CT scan. I thought he was doing better and then last night he said his chest hurt when he ran a few paces after his friend at wrestling (before I caught him and yelled at them to stop). I made him sleep with us again and watched him half the night. I feel like I'm going to have a nervous breakdown waiting on next week's CT scan. I read the current diagnosis of a possible bronchogenic cyst and it's just as scary reading about case studies as the lymphoma diagnosis. I just want to know what it is and have it gone. To top everything off this week, my twin brother had to have an emergency appendectomy last night.

I sure hope this week turns out better than the last 7 days.

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
I am thinking of you Danielle! Keep the faith!

Its been quiet here the last few days so here is a question for everyone...

What do you look forward to most on the cruise (your must do list)? If you haven't cruised what are you looking forward to trying?

Some of my favorite things...

Sail Away...Standing on Deck 10 watching the land slip away and the sense of relaxation that hits me when I realize I'm on vacation!

Dinners with no kids...I love my kids but it is nice to be a grown up and have a few meals with adults only

Watching the excitement in my kids faces with all the new experiences (seeing the ship, swimming, meeting the characters, etc)

Have to run do more PTA stuff but I can't wait to read everyone's responses...

I've never cruised so I can't wait for the whole thing!!! I am excited for CC!

Morning mandy,
What are your plans for today?

SPROUTS??!! I am so envious!:upsidedow

Morning Michele

I haven't got much on today. Becky will be home for her lunch soon, then once she's back at school I will be getting on with some housework and ironing

Have fun in the garden today. I can't wait to get outside and cut the grass, it's about a foot long, and still so wet, so I won't be out there for a while yet.
