Still doing laundry but seeing progress! Actually we went out to the mall for a little while to get out of the house. Then came home and had to get the kids to bed. I finally got back to the computer and everyone has gone to bed. How was going back to work today?

The weird thing is she was such a good student until high school then she started slacking off a little. Then came the bf and now she is messing up big!!
We have taken just about everything away from her already. Hopefully the guidance counselor will have better luck with her tomorrow.

You'll have to let us know how it went with DH tonight...too bad you can't take the bf away! Maybe the reality of losing the fashion class will make her try harder. Good luck tomorrow with the counselor!

When are you planning on O'hana? We are going to go there on the 29th, I have to wait to book it - I think Mandy said 3/1 - Thanks Mandy!

Veronica - we are working on the 'read across america' in our school - we have to go in on Friday for a door decorating contest, then Monday we go in for the end of the progam assembly - the students met the reading goal, so, the principal is going to kiss a chimp!! Whatever!!!! LOL But, we have to be there for the assembly, and to give out the awards for the door decorating, and all of the kids are going to get soft pretzels, so, we have to receive them, and bag them and deliver to the classrooms... So, basically, my days off I am 'working' at school.

I'm not sure what day for O'hana...we may be with you there on the 29th though...let me know what time you get. I have to sit down tomorrow and figure out a schedule for the parks/restaurants (I am the obssessive travel planner of the group).Only a few more days until we can try and call to book!

Its funny....our parents as reading partners theme is "Reading Road Trip" sounds very similar to yours. We are having the kids fill out "post cards" with how many minutes they read each night. Each 15 minutes equal a mile and each class has a goal city to reach.

Hello All!!!! Boy are you guys chatty I don't know if I will ever be able to keep up. We have been out of town, Shaelyn my 8 year old does competition cheerleading and we were in Ocean City Maryland for a competition. There were around 5,000 cheerleaders Shae's team placed 3rd in her division. We had a great time and we don't have another one until March 16.

No new news from Keegan's doctor. He said his lungs still sound the same. No temperature, no swollen lymph nodes but he's lost 4 pounds since Thursday and he's been eating a lot. I am hoping it's from the fevers sweating it out. His doctor said that the mass in his lung is non identifiable by him and the radiologist. It MAY be pneumonia, but's it's very atypical. He said he could have had the flu and got pneumonia as a side effect. He said he's seen that frequently lately though Keegan's came on very fast. He showed me the blood results and the white cells were a bit high and the neutrophils were too. He said that's normal with an infection. He said the blood work can miss illnesses though. Great. I feel like we are going in circles. He said he'll feel more confident once he has the CT scan. Mamsi told them they had until 5PM tomorrow to approve it but they finally approved it while I was there after 3 calls from the Dr. today. I can't wait until this time tomorrow. This has truly been an awful few days.

I think we are going to do like a 9am or something, being we are checking out that day and going home - but nothing is written in stone, we are still waiting for the airfare confirmation! UGH!!!!!!

I LOVE the post card idea - that is great! We only had them fill out lines on a sheet of paper. Grouped them into 4 teams. We have palm trees w/monkeys climbing to the top - cute right. Our actual theme is "going Ape" for reading. The 'read across america' is the Dr. Seuss thing - his Bday is Monday - and the closing of our program w/assembly w/the chimp thing! I will be glad when it is over!! Are you going w/the Dr Seuss? We did a door decorating contest, a jar guess w/animal crackers, then we decorating the front case of the school w/5 Dr. Seuss books, and the kids have to put their favorite one on a piece of paper, and the book that gets the most votes goes to the winner of the jar guess. Cute idea. We also give out 2 $5 Barnes and Noble gift cards (random) drawing - each week. That is our sad program!!! Good luck w/yours!

Well nicole lucked out last night. jeff was pretty calm (not like him) he didn't even yell he asked her what the problem was with doing he work . She had no anwser and he told her to bring her phone down and he was keeping it for a month. That was it. It was weird. I asked him today why was he so calm and only took the phone away. Basically he just gives up and if she wants to throw her choices away let her. She will just have to retake the class next year.Very unlike him. Hopefully the guidance counselor with get through to her today. Check in later after the meeting.
