You can be sure that Suzanne does NOT like to cook and would gladly eat out at any time. My dh working nights has been bad for me as I make something easy for the girls and then I just graze all night. I could eat a bag of popcorn and a diet coke for dinner and be psyched. My dh loves real food ugh..... His grandma was Italian and even made homemade macaroni, his mom loves to cook how he ended up with me I'll never know:confused:

My husband is always buying me cookbooks for mothers day or other holdays and i'm like why do u waste your money? You know it is just going to sit onthe shelf like all the others and i will keep making you simple stuff or takeout..lol We lived together for 2 years before we got married so he knew what he was getting into with the cooking part of this union. he just thinks if he makes these suddel hints i will take the initiative to cook great meals like his mom. NO DON"T THINK SO!!

I even sneak open my christmas presents and then carefully rewrap them so no one will ever know.Shhhh it's our secret.

Michele, what are you like ? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Paul always buys my presents in WDW, I love all the Disney jewellery, pins and bits and pieces (not the expensive stuff mind) and he usually has a bag full of presents in his side of the wardrobe and I never feel the urge to look in there - I love surprises

Kerry on the other hand hates surprises, if she finds a present, she has to feel it, shake it, and take so many guesses as to what it could be, that you give up and just let her open it :rotfl: :rotfl:

how he ended up with me I'll never know:confused:

If Paul bought me a cookbook for my birthday or Christmas, I'd whack him round the head with it - and hopefully he'd take the hint :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

O.k. I need to have you girls help me out here. Nicole is having a fit because i don't want to let her go into the city with her friend and the girls father this sunday. Here are the facts she is 15 the girl is 17 and daddy is a little odd let's say. Kooky i guess is the word. I barely know this man and she wants to take the train into the city and hang out there until the evening. I let her go a few weeks ago with another friend of her's but they have been friends since kindergarten and i know her mom is responsible and i have known her a long time. This guy is a virtual stranger. Am i being overprotective and should let her go? Ladies please let me know your opinions. Jeff will just tell me it is up to me as usual.lol Thanks

How funny that I just watched Oprah today for the first time in a looonngg time and it was about trusting your instincts. If your gut tells you something might even be just alittle off you HAVE to listen to it. Sorry but "kooky" probably falls under my I don't think so radar:confused3

I also am a little suspicious because she has a 18 year old bf that we have forbid her to see outside of school and i have heard her on the phone telling him they will try to meet by hanging out with mutual friends.(i am wondering if he is planning on going to the city as well) I don't know if i am being overprotective, paranoid, or just should follow my instincts like u said.

My downfall is also eating out laurie. I hate to cook. I like to bake but not make actual meals..lol I really need motivation i want to be skinny again!! But it's hard to not eat bad things they are so yummy..popcorn:: Phone.

Michele

Well, just got back from dinner at Champps - we dont usually go there - but, my son's middle school was sponsoring a fundraiser there, so we went.. did I get a salad? or grilled chicken? NOPE! Had a cheeseburger - it was DELICIOUS!! ;)

I hate cooking, cleaning, prepping food - it all stinks! Maybe if I could get a maid - LOL :rotfl2:

Anyway - I have to get back on track - just need to be bad one more day!
Laurie

:wizard: :wizard: I wish you lots of luck Laurie, and I hope you manage to get to your goal before our Cruise :wizard: :wizard:

Welcome to my world :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I hate cooking, and I can just about manage sorting myself out a Weight Watchers Lasagne .. and I just love to eat out

Thanks for the well wishes - I hope I can get back on track!

I am not a HUGE fan of the WW dinners - I would be happy w/a bowl of cereal - but, too many points!! LOL

When I am seriously dieting, all I do is think of FOOD - why is that? :confused3

Omg i remember poison now.Yah brett michaels he was hot. I may just have to tune in to watch little house on the prairie for old time sakeDidn't scott baio lose one of the twins? I think i read something about that last week.

Brett was hot - now he is old and his hair looks like Barbie doll hair :scared1: He always has a bandana on his head - which makes me wonder if he is balding!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Little House - put it on!! The afternoon ones are when Laura/Almonzo are going to get married - I haven't been around during the day to watch lately - Damn Job! :rolleyes1

So, let me tell you about myself a bit - so you don't think I post on message boards and watch Little House all day! LOL

I work out of my house - about 70 miles from home 2 to 3 days a week. I work w/my mother and sister for a mechanical contractor - I do the accounts payable, and safety training of the men.. I also work from home doing some stuff for that job - but, I have been working for a publishing company since my oldest - who is 11 - was a year old - I type from home for them, so, I usually have the TV on while I am home working - I didn't want you all to think I was some fat slob that watches TV all day! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Although - that might be semi-accurate! Sometimes I crack myself up!! :rolleyes1

Can you guys tell I am playing catch-up over here - I swear this is my last post for a while - have to fold laundry - :laundy:

Anyway - Michele - I don't blame you for being overprotective - the city is a tough place - and if you really don't know the dad? I would say, NOPE! But, I would talk to DH about it - and even though he'll say - you decide - you ought to push the issue w/him.. God forbid something happens, you don't want to have that hang on your head - man - can you tell I am a skeptical type!!
