Wow, it sounds cold where you are Jen, I hope it warms up soon

I'm really looking forward to getting to know you too. How many times have you been to WDW ? and what is your favourite Park and rides ?

I can't wait to get back onboard the Disney Wonder. We usually go straight up to the Beach Blanket for lunch and then hubby & I lie by the Goofy Pool with a Bahama Mama in hand while the ship is nice and quiet - ahh bliss !! ;)

Good Morning everyone,

Yesterday was a crazy day but hopefully today will be a bit quieter.

Mandy, I have to second Le Cellier for a meal. I think it is my favorite place at WDW now (we used to love Portobello Yacht Club at Downtown Disney but the last few times we have been slightly disappointed). I am also a big Epcot fan so it always works in well in my plans to stop there. We did the Cinderella breakfast years ago when my nieces were young. If you love princesses it is definately the place to go. As far as the meal, it was so-so. The food was pre-plated so as long as you like what they serve you will be fine.

As far as Palos, I would love to go there one night. My bil has never been there for a meal but his girls are shy and I am not sure if they will like the clubs this trip. My kids are no problem. In November on the Magic my son never ate dinner with us unless I insisted (he loved the clubs) and my daughter was OK about going to Flounders (and I loved having a quiet meal a couple of times :cool1: )

Sarahsmom73 - yikes, I thought is was freezing here and its in the 20's, I guess I'm lucky but I would still rather by in FL (or better yet on the ship)

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!
Veronica

Morning Ladies!! Yea it's cold here today too. It's about 5 degrees out and we got about 5 inches of snow last night. About 30 miles north of me is measuring the snow in feet (lake effect) so I guess I'll take what we've got:goodvibes I would still rather be in Florida though (sigh)

We are big Giants fans here so we are pretty psyched about watching football all day today:cool1:

Morning ladies,
It is 25 degrees here and i thought it was cold but i guess i won't complain now. When i come home frm night tonight at midnght they say it will be -5 with the wind chill brrrrrrr i can't wait. I had nicole take some shots of the living room today but they came out so so. First one is of our birds max and sunny she had to take them for some reason.

Please ignore the messy kitchen in the background.

Great photos Michele, I like your Safari theme with your birds (or is the same one), and your statues, I like the giraffe one in the background :thumbsup2 It's a great theme

Veronica - thanks for your vote for Le Cellier too, I think I'm seriously going to have to consider eating there :thumbsup2

Suzanne - Have fun watching your day of football, I take it's American football you're fans of, not soccer. We were on the Disney Wonder when David Beckham made his debut for LA Galaxy last Summer, we watched the game from Diversions (I know slightly off topic :rotfl2: :rotfl2: )

That's ok you can go off topic about David Beckham anytime:love: I watched that game on tv too by the way probably the only pro soccer game I have ever watched. But yes I was talking about american football. Go Giants!!!!

Thanks suzanne, My husband was a little concerned that it was to dark but he liked it once it dried. I think it works well with my african theme. The whole theme got started from a elephant magazine holder we bought in animal kingdom. It took off from there. Chat later

I bet you buy something for your living room everytime you visit Animal Kingdom Michele :)

Yes i do Mandy. If we drive down instead of fly i make jeff stop at south of the border . They have a great african store there where i can get some larger pieces i wouldn't fly home with.

Hey Girls

Guess what ? Paul has only gone and got us some tickets for the Spice Girls final concert in the UK next Saturday in Manchester - I'm so excited - I can't wait

I'm off to practice the dances again :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

BTW - I hope I see David Beckham again

Good Morning everyone! Well it is only -9F today! Practically a heat wave! :rotfl:

Here are some of my answers:

I have been to WDW 6 times. I jump at the chance to go whenever I can! I think my favorite park is MK. I love splash mountain. I could ride it over and over.

I too am looking forward to relaxing! A fruity tropical drink sounds great to me!

So, all you Wonder Vets... What are your favorite things to do on the Wonder?

Hi all -

Let's see if I can catch up over here..

Giants - NOT happy with the win - we are Dallas fans here in our NJ house!! We moved from north Jersey where there were Giants/Jets - I was brought up in a Jets household, so, they were OK - now, we are in South Jersey - and it is Eagles Country - it is HORRIBLE! Anyway - Congrats Giants, I am pretty upset - but, they deserve it - although Dallas handed them the game last week! LOL I hope they can be the team to beat the Patriots!

Next- Mandy- Have fun at the concert!!!

Now, Disney parks - My fav - has to be MK - I love the others, but, MK is 'magical' :wizard: LOL - It is all the classics I remember as a kid- and new stuff all the time.. but, my fav ride is a toss up - LOVE the rock n' roller coaster, tower or terror (both in MGM - but, the rest of the park is kinda 'slow' for us), and expedition everest - but, the classics in MK are the BEST - Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, etc!

Character meals - Poly w/Stitch for breakfast - AWESOME! Chef Mickey for breakfast is really good as well.. We did the GF once - but, it is 'girly' - we have 2 boys, but the food was good.. Another place we like to go is the Whispering Canyon Cafe - for dinner, it isn't character, but it is pretty entertaining.

Hmm... what else? Oh, I know - how do you post pics??

And... Mandy - I didn't forget to post what is going on w/the DCL House Party - I just posted over there what I am doing, but will post here when I finally figure it ALL out! LOL But, I am getting excited!!!

Hope all is well w/everyone! Kids are off today, and I have running to do for the party, so, this ought to be FUN!

So, all you Wonder Vets... What are your favorite things to do on the Wonder?

Well Jen, I can honestly say, as little as possible. Hubby and I love the sun, and will happily sunbathe after lunch when we board, at Nassau (we very rarely get off the ship, unless we're taking photos), and on Castaway Cay. We love Palo for both Brunch and Dinner, and now the girls are old enough to go down to dinner by themselves, we have an early dinner (around 6ish) and then join them later in the dining room for a cocktail.

My girls love going to the cinema, the shows, the Teen Club, the arcade and generally just chilling out onboard

And the final thing I love to do ...... drink Bahama Mamas :rotfl: :rotfl:

Laurie - I have just checked out your post on the house party thread, and it sounds like you're going to have a fun time. I would've loved to do this (any excuse to watch my dvd's, photos and talk about the Disney Wonder). I hope you will take some photos, so we can see how it all looked - it sounds fab

Suzanne - I take it that you are happy today after the Giants won yesterday, I hope you enjoyed the game :thumbsup2

Hi Michele & Veronica - I hope you're having a great day

Good morning everyone...

This weekend was so busy and with my son off from school today it will probably be another crazy day.

Mandy- Enjoy that concert!

Suzanne - My DH and bil were very happy last night so I know your family must be thrilled with the Giants win. Me, I'm just waiting for baseball season (at least I know it will be warmer then) to root for the Mets (who hopefully won't disappoint like last years fiasco)

As far as the questions, I'm not sure how many times I have been to WDW, probably 15 or so. My favorite park as I mentioned is Epcot. Favorite ride is a tough one, I like Rockin' Roller Coaster but lately most of my rides center around my 5 year old (like riding Its a Small World 5 times in a row).

Favorite things on the cruise, relaxing by the pool on the ship and beach at Castaway. I love sailing away and standing on deck letting all the stress slip away. Now with 2 kids, I love Founders and the clubs and having a quiet meal.

Well, I'm off to Curves (just joined and determined to be healthier for the new year). Hope everyone has a great day!

Veronica
