me too. Living in snow land, I really need it to be warm on vacation to be happy. John wanted to take an Alaskan cruise and I told him I would be thrilled to go as long as it was balanced with a caribbean cruise afterward.

I agree, but I think you all should take a cruise to alaska then you can come visit me. We are a port stop for the alaska cruises. (RCCL & NCL) Although I will never understand why people would want to cruise here!!! We do not have summer.

Sorry I haven't been around much this week. My mom was admitted to the hospital Monday ( I was called out of class) with a bad case of the flu and pnuemonia. They admitted 12 people in 12 hours with the same bug. She is still there but will be released tomorrow. The radiologist thought he saw something on the chest x ray so yesterday she had a CT scan. The great news it it came back clean today! It has been an awful 2 weeks for me. 1st Sarah with the high fever, Emma in the ICU and then my mom in the hospital.

Em will be going to Boston Children's on March 27th to see a new neuro.. That is my other good news today.

I feel like I have been living under a dark cloud.. Here's to better times. In fact my mom said she might have to take us on a cruise to celebrate everyone getting well.. Maybe it will be 2 for us!

Aww Jen, I was wondering where you had got to. Sorry to hear that your mom has been poorly, but I'm so pleased that she is on the mend. I too think you deserve another Cruise after everything you've been through lately

The UK can be hit and miss with Summer too. Last year it rained constantly for about 10 weeks and there were terrible floods. I need to take a holiday where there's lots of sunshine

Yay, it's nearly the weekend

I love Fridays, just knowing that I've got a couple of days to do whatever I want ahead of me

I'm pleased to let you know that I lost another 2lbs when I weighed in this morning

What have you got planned for today ?

I've got grocery shopping this morning, then the girls are in and out with their friends for most of the day, then they've got one friend sleeping over tonight, and no doubt Paul & I will pop out to our fave wine bar tonight for a couple of glasses of White Zinfandel (Mmmm)

I did an Alaska cruise and it was beautiful, however this is not the time of year anyone wants to think of Alaska Ask us again this summer when it is 90 and humid and I bet you we'll be more anxious to come visit (although on days like today I can't wait until its hot and humid)

I talked to her yesturday and she said he was up against a 6 year old.She wouldn't know if he got the job until april. She wasn't feeling to well on the painkiller meds for her tooth.

I'm hoping to have a quiet day at home! Bryan has a playdate after school but other than that I plan to keep warm, do some and start some Spring cleaning (everyone comes here for Easter and its fast approaching). Stay warm being taxi today...at least the snow isn't supposed to come until tonight!

I feel that weekends and holidays are a time to relax the diet and enjoy... so go for it! If you don't have times when you can treat yourself you won't be able to stick to the diet! On Mother's Day you should be able to do whatever makes you happy!!!
