Hi all!!

It's been a very productive day over here!! I've done regular laundry, dug out some of the summer stuff to wash, emptied all of the winter stuff from the boys drawers - well, not all - I left some things just in case, organized Dominic's room - he is NOT going to be happy about that, but he's been warned... I did 3 articles for work, and now - I am watching the last 12 minutes of my free day tick down on the clock!!

Hi all!!

OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! That stinks Mandy - I hope you get it fixed soon!! We had issues w/our washer a few months back, if I had only one load, I would run a load across to my cousin OR if I had a bunch, I'd go the the laudromat (sp??) - that wasn't fun at all! It was under warranty - so, I had to wait for the guy to come, then wait for a part - it was horrible... I really take for granted the washer/dryer being here that is for sure! UGHHH

Hi Mandy! We are heading down to North Carolina to see my mom and brother. It is about a 10 1/2 hour drive from here but we are going to split it into 2 days (Emily's time limit in the car is about 4 hours). We will be gone for a week. I made sure all of the hotels have free internet so I will hopefully be able to keep up with the boards and post daily.

Veronica, we are last minute packers too. We are generally shoving our stuff in the suitcases the hour before we head to the airport. Have fun in NC!

Thanks! I was good today and started laying out stuff for the kids. My problem is I always start packing ahead of time but then always have last minute stuff anyway.

GUESS WHAT??!!! NO SCHOOL!!!! We have a water main break! The whole town is on a water conservation order! If you can't "flush" you can't go to school I guess! I had a heart attack when the phone rang at 5:40! I was laying in bed grumping how I didn't want to go and the Phone rang!!!

I spent the morning at Bryan's school with PTA things then in the afternoon I made myself do laundry and lay out stuff to pack. Bryan had Tae Kwon Do this afternoon. Now we are working on homework. Luckily besides being weighed in at Curves in the morning I am home getting stuff done around here tomorrow. Have a good evening everyone!

I am so glad that you will be able to keep in touch while you are gone - no need for the blackberry, huh? LOL That's my favorite toy!

The thing w/packing - UGH - you are right w/the last minute stuff, and you never know what you need to use BEFORE you pack it, but at least you'll be surrounded by stores and stuff, so you can run out and get something if you forgot it, ya know?

So - I am sitting here ........... ALONE - WONDERing where all of you are -

Anyway - I had my BIG ole' PTA meeting tonight - the board elections were held - I have been 'promoted' to 2nd VP - so, that is good - I'll pass on my checkbook at the end of the year and be DONE! So, that was good! Less 'stuff' to do in the 2nd VP spot, so, that is WONDERFUL for me!

Then, I get home, and I get an email from my cousin - he can't make court tomorrow.. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO he is going to call the prosecutor over in the town w/the tickets and see if he can do something over the phone. Whether he postpones it - or just takes care of it (which is my hope) - postponing it is OK - but, I'd rather just get it over with already!

What is everyone up to tomorrow?? After I drop Ant off I am going to run to Target to pay my bill and grab some odds and ends... then, I am meeting my friend Rita for breakfast, then I a MIGHT get my nails done - haven't decided if I want to go tomorrow or Friday - they are still holding up - so I might wait till I am done organizing/cleaning and packing stuff up! I want to try to head to AC Moore - I have two 50% off coupons that are good for tomorrow only, so I might roam around and see what they have that I NEED!!!!!!!!! And if there is no court - I will be going to baseball tomorrow night..

Jen - I hope you are off again! lol

So.................. I am off to bed after I toss the clothes in the dryer! Hope you all had a good night - I am LONELY over here!!!

Evening Ladies, It is 12:40 here and i just got home from hell.
We had a suprise visit from corporate tonight and of course the place was still trashed from last night . So we failed...oops oh well not my bonus... .They were not pleased with the way the store was trashed and wanted to yell at a manager who of course was on her dinner break so i got to be yelled at instead..woohoo. I handed the guy the keys and said here you run the front and show me how it is done and still able to clean up from last night. The other guy snickered and then they just left.But not before handed me the report with a big 10 out of 100 marked on it .The head manager was not pleased so there goes his bonus..But he knew it wasn't our fault it was the idiots from today that didn't fix the store up.

I haven't got a very exciting day today. I'm taking my mum for a hosptial appointment. After I drop her home, I'm going to do some handwashing (woohoo ) and then tackle my grey hairs with a hair colour

I'm hoping to do my exercise dvd, as it should be quieter around here today

Hey Bahama Mamas

Finally - it's nearly 1pm, and I'm about to sit down with a nice cup of tea

I took my mum for her hospital appointment this morning. She's got 3 appointments over the next week or so. She was there for her feet today, she saw her consultant, had x-rays and a blood test. On Thursday she's there for her eyes, then a week on Thursday she's back for her arthritis.

I got home, put my hair colour on (goodbye grey hairs - for now ) and all being well I'll do my exercise dvd later (though I don't really feel up to it )

Good Morning everyone.

We had a busy night last night between after school bowling and baseball. Brennan's team had their first scrimmage and did quite well. Their opening games are this Saturday. Keegan has his 1st scrimmage tomorrow night. Combine that with team pictures for both of them and Brennan's school concert, it's going to be another very busy night.

I keep checking on my DVC wait list to get a studio on 4/28 at AKV but right now it's not going through. At least I have a room at OKW and if I have to switch, I will. I'm just glad we did the extra day. I'm going to take a taxi and hand carry our luggage. I had bell services do it last year when I had to move from POR to CSR on our last day and wound up waiting forever sitting in wet swim suits for our luggage. They ended up having a porter deliver it straight to us from POR after my 3rd complaint about 18 hours after we dropped it off.


Mandy, sorry to hear about your washer. I'm another one that would be at the laundromat. We run about 2-3 loads a day. Between baseball practice clothes and Derek's uniforms plus normal clothes and pajamas we can fill 3 baskets a day.

Diane, we found out real quick where to find the closest mall in Pottstown because there was nothing besides some nuclear reactor looking silos next to our hotel. We looked everywhere for a laundromat because the hotel washers were broken and we had to hand wash the team uniforms in a bath tub. I'm hoping we find a different hotel this time too--our team stayed in a Best Western and the AC wasn't working anywhere in the hotel except the rooms. The halls and lobby were stifflling. Any good recommendations? We have to be pretty close to the fields in Douglasville because sometimes we get only an hour notice to be at a field for a game depending how the game brackets go.

Michele, sorry to hear about your bad day at work. It sounds stressful.

Lauri, congrats on your PTA promotion. Good luck with your ticket/court issue. Derek had an arrest last week from someone trying to pose as his brother on a traffic stop. The guy had a warrant he was trying to hide from and Derek caught him when he could't show his license or "remember" his birthday.

Veronica, what part of NC are you traveling to? We used to go to the Outer Banks every year and loved it. North Carolina is a beautiful state. I hope you get great weather! Have a safe trip.
