Thanks for the information. That would be great to get together one of these days. Do you live near Pottstown? We were there in 2006 for about 5 days for the Cal Ripken baseball State Championships. I remember going to a mall, but don't think it was the premium outlets.

I know you were talking about homeschooling Becca, did you decide for sure? There is a huge homeschooling group in the Hanover area, and a couple of my friends do it and love it.

Yes, I live about 15 minutes east of Pottstown ( Phoenixville/Valley Forge)
Becca does gymnastics near Pottstown, so I am there 4-5 days a week.

I have decided to homeschool her if she makes the next level of gymnastics ( 15 hours a week) and her practices end at 9:30pm, 3 nights a week. I am kind of excited about it! Today we were talking about building a website and have her blog about homeschooling, gymnastics and whatever else she want to do. She also likes cooking so I will include her in meal planning and helping the entire family adopt a healthier eating style.

Hi All!

Been a couple of busy days around here (what happened to my quiet weekend?). Ran a bunch of errands yesterday then last night I was so tired that I went to bed early. Today Tom and Bryan went to the Mets game (they lost again ) so my MIL and I dragged Emily out shopping. I mostly bought some summer clothes for the kids. Tonight I'm just trying to start laying out some clothes to pack for our trip to NC on Friday. I usually am crazy at the last minute packing so I'm determined to start early. Luckily it looks fairly warm down there (70's) so I'm happy to dig out the capris!

Michele...sorry I haven't chatted in a while-I promise I will try to be on more this week

Evening ladies, It is 11:30 and i just got home from work...it was so friggin busy. Everyone started flocking in at 9 it was awful the store was a disaster. I am staying up to do my sunshine survey and then go to bed.

I hate Mondays, I'm taking my mum into town this morning, (where hopefully I'll get some more FE stuff), then I've got a bit of grocery shopping to do (boring) and then I will probably be running the girls around this afternoon

Laurie, that happens to me a lot for some reason and it's very frustrating. I'll type something and go to "submit reply" and it goes to the username/password again and you can't return/refresh to get the message. I've started to "copy" every message I write lately just in case it deletes it again.


Diane, cute Jokes. I just found out last night we'll be back in Douglasville/Pottstown the week of July 18th for the state chamipionships again this year for baseball. Maybe we can get together some time during that week? They will start the 18th and probably play anywhere from 3-7 days (until they either lose twice or win the whole thing). I thought they were only doing 3-4 tournaments and we were told they have one in May and starting the end of June, will have one a week until mid August. Football starts August 1st so I guess we won't get any breaks between sports.


Mandy, I hate Mondays too. They are crazy between the work that's piled in all weekend and our schedules. Brennan has bowling after school and then both boys have baseball. Tonight Brennan has a scrimmage too.

Veronica, we are last minute packers too. We are generally shoving our stuff in the suitcases the hour before we head to the airport. Have fun in NC!

GUESS WHAT??!!! NO SCHOOL!!!! We have a water main break! The whole town is on a water conservation order! If you can't "flush" you can't go to school I guess! I had a heart attack when the phone rang at 5:40! I was laying in bed grumping how I didn't want to go and the Phone rang!!!

A 1 day reprieve!!!

So ladies...................... You have me for another day!

That would be great! Pottstown is not a real exciting place! You will definitely want to plan on visiting the outlets to get ready for your trip. there is suppose to be a disney store but it has not opened yet. I would love to do lunch or dinner. Don't feel bad gymnasts only get 2 weeks a year off, so I know how you feel!

Hi all!!

It's been a very productive day over here!! I've done regular laundry, dug out some of the summer stuff to wash, emptied all of the winter stuff from the boys drawers - well, not all - I left some things just in case, organized Dominic's room - he is NOT going to be happy about that, but he's been warned... I did 3 articles for work, and now - I am watching the last 12 minutes of my free day tick down on the clock!!
