2007 Value Resort Rates are Loaded!!!

I was just able to confirm the Value Resorts are loaded in the system with 2007 Room Only Rates and the other levels will be coming soon followed by packages....


2007 has a new twist to seasons adding a 5th season (middle of the price range) known as summer. I know for those of us in NJ, summer is well past the Disney definition and we’ll get the bonus of an earlier value season.

Here it is

Value 1/1-2/14; 8/5-10/4; 11/25-12/19 $82 Standard; $94 preferred ($3 increase)
Regular 4/15-5/23; 10/4-11/24 $99 Standard; $111 preferred (no rate change)
Summer 5/24-8/4 $109 Standard; $121 preferred ($10 increase for this time from last year as it was Regular Season)
Peak 2/15-4/14 $119 Standard; $127 preferred ($4 increase standard only)
Holiday12/20-12/31 $129 Standard; $137 preferred ($4 increase standard only)


Seasons are the same as above for the ASMu Suites and the rates are:
Value $179
Regular $215
Summer $240
Peak $265
Holiday $285

Keep in mind also that bookings can only be made up to 500 days in advance so that will not open up all of 2007 as of yet.

Geez, what's going to increase next? First they change the 50's section my favorite at Pop Century to "preferred" adding an extra $12 per night and now they are adding another "season"? The new "summer season" which is when we go each year now means an extra $10 per night. I'm going to have to get a 2nd job just to pay for the increases!!!

Given how much energy prices have increased this year (electricity and natural gas), it's amazing the price increases are so small.

can you book a AAA room only rate or now or does that have to wait until the package rates come out?

I need a AAA rate too, but I don't think they are out yet. Hopefully soon.

If I am wrong, please correct me. I am waiting on that before I book.

According to The Mouse for Less website only portions of 50's & 70's are preferred rooms;

"Also, effective immediately, portions of the 50's and 70's building at Pop Century are now Preferred and Toy Story and Dalmations buildings are now Preferred at All-Star Movies."

AAA rates will most likely be a while. They still need to set and load the other 2 resort levels into the system, than negoiate with AAA, than load those rates.
