When do you guys think Disney will release the 2007 rates. My Hubby and I returned from our October trip with plans to return as soon as he graduates from grad school, which will be in 2007 sometime.

I am so ready to start planning another trip, and I want to know the rates!!

The room-only rates for 2006 were released on May 18, 2005. Figure 2007 rates will be released in mid-to-late May, 2006.

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Me too!!!! We just went at the beginning of November and I can't wait to make ressies for November 2007!!!!

We just booked for Jan. 2007. I asked about the 2007 rates and she said they would be available in June 2006, but like a pp said, I think it will probably be in May.
We were quoted $99/night for the all-stars (of course she said that the rate wasn't guaranteed), and we are going in their value season. I thought it seemed a little high. I plan to call in May or June anyway to add the AAA discount.

99 for all stars seems high for january. I totally agree. We got back this week and I am already planning a trip for Jan/Feb 2007. Guess I will wait till May and hope the prices aren't really that high. :goodvibes

I am also waiting for 2007 rates. Can you still book a room even if the rates aren't released? We would most likely go in late August like we did this year. What if some great deal pops up? Can you take advantage of it even if you have been booked for over a year?

Oh man, and here I am waiting for 2008... got a long wait ahead of me! :rotfl2:

I have a funny feeling I will be planning another trip as soon as I get back from my Jan 2006 vacation......Probably same time in 2007. It's always nice to have some time to save a bit of money and to start planning again!

I just love planning a trip, makes the time go by faster.

Us too. We are looking at Christmas 2007 and I can't wait. I keep plugging in number for 2006 just to get some ideas but it is hard waiting. princess:

Count me in for 2007!!!
We plan on doing a "AAA MYW w/ Dining Package" May 30- June 8, so it will be a while before we can book. I just hate waiting but it looks like I'm not alone so that's nice!!!

I just booked Easter 2007, Wednesday before till Easter Thursday. I had to make a one day deposit of $117 plus tax for POFQ, but she told me the rates will go up in 18 months, so my last payment will reflect how much I owe as soon as the rates are released.

I told her, hopefully I can use a code and still receive this rate or better, and she told me she will put in a notation in my ressie. Never heard that one before.

For 2007, or any other time that rates are not guaranteed yet, they price at regular season rate for the current year and then adjust the rates once they are determined in May/June/July of the previous year.

For example...a trip in Jan '07 at a value is going to price at the regular season rate for '06..$99. In the late spring/early summer of '06 they will set that rates for 2007 and I would expect that Jan will still be value season, therefore less than $99 per night.

Alternatively, a trip for April '07 would also price at $99 if booked right now. When the rates for 2007 are set, the price will probably increase since April is peak season.

If you book now for regular season '07, the rate change will be minimal if anything. From 2005-2006 the regular season rate did not change for the value resorts...$99 both years. We'll just have to wait and see what 2007 brings, but I would say go ahead and book now so that you can secure a room and begin setting aside the money...it'll be worth it come crunch time ;)
