Magnets - yes I'm thinking we'll get something different instead of the ones they give on the normal cruise. Could be wrong. I bet they give us some type of magnet on our door.

BB8 - (aka Big Brother 8) yes it is getting worse. I really hope they don't vote out Eric. I like him. I think they need another twist to mix things up. Does anyone besides Kay and I watch this?

Dopey, sorry to hear about your job situation, those things usually work out in the end.

Big Brother is too weird for me, never could get into in.

It is so hot here is disgusting. The A/C in my office is dripping on me. It hasn't been this humid ever.................

We haven't got travel insurance yet. We usually use USAA. I hope it's not too late

Dopey - I agree with Joannel. Things will work out. One door closes and another one opens - sometimes not right away, but a little later. Just keep yourself busy with other things in the meantime.

tiggerguy here and im telling you your not alone.Work has not been good to use and my wife lost her job that she had for 15 years just before our 8th annual 4th of july trip.The rope on our necks are tightening and everyone wants there money.This cruise will be hard since the wallet will be empty but we will do the best to make it great.Im treating this trip like my last.

I watch! And I agree. This seems to be the worse season so far. If CBS had any brains, they would have sent up a plane with a banner to contradict what some viewer decided to pay and have sent up on their own. If would definitely add some more confusion to the mix.

I like Eric. I hope he stays. Wish they would quit having him do stupid things though.

Hi all - just stopping by on this Thursday night. Hope everyone had a great day. It was hot as blazes here - too hot actually. Went to a small amusement park out here in NJ and it felt like Disney in July - brutal!
I'm beat!
I think it will rain tomorrow - maybe cool things off.

We're in MA, too, and my dad just lost his job this week. He's 60, which can be challenging when trying to find a new one. If you like, I can give you some websites that have been helpful.

We know the feeling. Amanda was "downsized" out of her job 3 weeks ago. She worked for the regional mgr for AFLAC and he replaced her with his wife so he didn't have to pay someone to do the admin duties that she was doing. She has sent a ton of resumes out, but no bites yet. She is currently working on going to sales school so that she can sell AFLAC. She is really postitve that this will lead to big money, but it's commission only, so we are struggling until the big checks start rolling in. I know that it will be fine in the end, but its tough right now. Make sure that you read "The Secret" it may change your perspective. Just remember you have all your Dis friends to help you through

Did everyone see that they are changing the name of Disney MGM studios to Disney Hollywood Studios? It was announced today. So hang on to your MGM studios stuff, in 100 years it might be valuable.

Good morning everyone - TGIF!

Saw the news about the Disney Studios. Honestly I think it is our least favorite park, but the new Toy Story ride does sound like fun.

Good luck to everyone looking for jobs. I've been layed off twice. In fact those are the only times I have left jobs. I was layed off from Sears after 17 years back when they closed their catalogs (I was an asst. marketing manager in catalog). Took me about 4 months to find a job. Then I was layed from a local computer reseller I was at for 4 years when they were sold to a California company. I found a job much faster after that time as I went to work for a printer we had used for some jobs. I celebrate 10 years there this October.

It's amazing what the reality shows "choose" to air for us to see. It was so one sided against Eric, I figured 10 minutes into the show that he was there to stay.

And I hope Dick gets the boot next. IMHO.

Okay, work to do now. Need to book my flights to Florida! Yippee. Another vacation is only 10 weeks away from today!
