2007 Annual Scrapbooking Thread--Our 2007 Total is. . .

Didn't my cheer I made up for you push me over the edge to get me to the next level?!? :confused3 :rotfl:
Well, that means I'm going down stairs as soon as dinner is over since it's spring break the kids can go wild here.. I'm going to get the last 5 pages I need to get to the next level!!!

Don't feel bad SIOH and I were both just a few away last month and made it this month. In additon to you being very close: tiggerfan6, tzhouse, honeybehr1, NewWnglandEeyore, and Yzerbear19 are all within 6 of the next level.

Rebecca

Hey, thanks for pointing that out! Now I have a goal to do at least 6 pages the next time I sit down to scrap!

I noticed that, too--we do have a lot of people who are "thisclose" to advancing! And we're not even 25% through the year yet!! How 'bout us and our scrapping successes!! :thumbsup2

Hi there! I'd love to join in on this fun thread! I've been scrapbooking for a few years now, and am soooo addicted! I try hard to keep up with my DD's books - I do a scrapbook for each year (she's only 2.5, LOL), and try to have it done to display at her bday party.

Ok, I just counted, and I only did 6 pages for March. But here's to a productive April!! :cheer2:

My target for this month is 53 pages :lmao: Something tells me that ain't going to happen:rolleyes1

Oh I'm so excited. I never seem to have the time to sit down and get all of my supplies out and get going, but this list is really motivating. I was feeling pretty good for being at our WDW trip in the summer of 2004, but then it became 2007 and now it's not so impressive...I'll have to have a new goal for April! Yay!

My goal is 67 but I don't know that I will hit it this month. It will depend a lot on the next few days and what I decide to do- do I make some of my Disney pages that won't be completed because I am waiting to take one picture or another- Do I put aside my Epcot album and start on another with the pages I have enough pictures for? I am thinking about getting things ready to do the year for when my monthly swap stuff comes in? Do I decide to actually do the albums I want for my sister and sister in law for mothers day- Or do I get started on the 40 exploding boxes I am making for my brothers rehersal dinner in June.

Rebecca

Oh, Rebecca, those exploding boxes look so cool! They'll be great for a rehearsal dinner!

Y'all are going to laugh at my goal, as it is quite crazy! I planned out all of the layouts for our March trip that we just got back from. I have 148 layouts, and I'd like to get them done before the end of the month. The chances of that happening are SLIM, but that's my goal! :)

I think you can do it- My plan is to get DS 2nd yead done- I have all 100 LO layed out, now I just have to scrap them! I'm cropping tonight so I should be able to start.

Go for it! Even if you don't make it this month maybe next month. The ones we are doing for the dinner are miniature and will hold candy inside (until the lid comes off)- They are about 2 inches high (I can't even imagine if I was going to make 40 regular sized ones- I would have already had to start and work full time until then.

Rebecca

Thanks for the motivation, everybody!! I'm hoping to get going this afternoon!!

I have to take stock of what I've done the last couple of weeks which sadly hasn't been much. DS has been keeping me busy the last little bit. I want to get some more done on his baby book before our May trip.

Surely its as much work for small boxes as large - but more fiddly? :confused3 But does use less paper I suppose:thumbsup2

Since I already have them designed on my craftrobo, all I actually have to do is add the pictures(paste the files) on once they arrive and then keep putting paper on and off the mats as I have the machine cutting. I can cut an entire small box (only 2 layers) out of 1 piece of 8 1/2 by 11 paper and 2 tops out of it. I am going to print 1 side with pictures (so we won't be adding anything to them). If I get them done in time I will mail them to my mother who will add stickers onto the opposite side and fold and glue the tops. I have to send her the tops because I can't get them safely to Boston on the plane. I can however do the stickers myself if I have too.

Hi all,

I just became a DIS member today and I booked a cruise, whoohooo!

Anyway, I was poking around and discoverd this forum area. I am a scrapper and a pea. My annual page goal is 75 pages and to date I have completed 32.
These are all 12x12 pages.

Last month I went to the Scrap Etc. Event in Alabama and took a mini album class from Stacy Julian. We were supposed to complete 20 pages in the 2 hour class (all 6x6). I took character pictures from our last trip, but they aren't 100% done yet.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi.

Welcome Sabrina!! Congratulations, too, on booking your cruise! We just booked one this week for July 2008, and we're Tennesseeans, too!

I'll get you put on the annual thread--if you want to, come on over and join us in the April thread as well. We have a challenge each month (where you put down how many you've completed), and then I roll those into the annual thread!

We're glad to have you!! :dance3:

Okay, I know I have told SIOH I wanted on this challenge thread ALL YEAR. I swear, when I changed jobs, I thought I was going to NOT have a tax season...silly me!

I have looked everything up though, so here goes.

January - I finished my family album with 34 pages.
February - all I did was my CJ, but I did two, so 4 pages.
March - our trip album 142 pages
April - two CJ's for 6 pages (one was 4 pages)

Total so far 186 pages!

Please forgive my lateness!

I'm so glad you got all of yours added!! If people would leave you alone and quit wanting you to help them sort their swaps. .. oh wait, that was me. :lmao: I'll get you added to the first post!!

I'm going to print off our April challenge and get us added up!! :thumbsup2

Ok, I've got us updated in the first post!!! Congratulations to everyone--we are doing GREAT on our 2007 goal!! By the end of May, we should have over 5000 pages scrapped!! WOW!!!

You all are awesome scrappers!! Thanks, everyone, for being motivating to each other--and WELCOME to all of our new scrappers who came aboard in April! I added you to the first post!!

So set your annual thread goal for May and come over and join the May challenge thread!! Here we go. . .:dance3:
