2006ers - When are you going, where are you staying and how did you book your trip?

A gang of 11 of us are cruising on the Disney Magic from July 8th - 15th, 2006.

DW and myself are arriving in and staying over the evening of July 7th at the Swan to meet up with the rest of the gang that will be at BWI. They are coming in for 3 days of the mouse house before we depart for Port Canaveral!

We will be going in December 2006 (not sure of dates yet) hopefully for 10 days at the Poly    We won't book until January 2006 (hopefully AAA will be running another special :teeth: )

We are going Nov 24-Dec 2 for my DD 4th's birthday! Currently planning on staying at SOG, but I would love to stay at CSR or FWC. My DH is dead set on SOG though. I am hoping Disney comes out with the military discounts they have this year (40%) so maybe I can convice him to try something new!

My DH. me and my mom are heading to WDW Dec 13-18, 2006 to celebrate my college graduation. We decided to stay at the Fort Wilderness Cabins. I wanted to be close to MK and wanted to do something different. We got a great AAA rate and we have lot of room to just relax and do a mini Christmas celebration. Also a good break before DH has to start his thesis. :flower: :flower:
We booked through Disney.

We are going April 1-8th, staying in a Grand Villa at OKW. My family, my brother's family (DVCers) and my parent's are all going. My first time during Spring Break :scared: .

Can you tell us what the AAA special was last year ?

We will be going in May to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary - woohoo have not selected a resort yet - but we are doing a 7 day western cruise with dual stops at Castaway Cay - I'm jazzed!

So far the plan is to be at Disney the last week of October. A combo of the Contemporary and maybe off-site. If my sister's family comes there will be 6 of us so we would need 2 rooms. Is it too soon to start hoping for a code? :rolleyes1 Oh, and I will be turning the big 4-0, so I figure what better place to celebrate! :thewave:

Edit : Well, we changed our minds. :)

Instead of a CR/AKL split, we are staying at the Boardwalk in Feb. I booked with the BR program online.

We're going again in October but I don't know where yet. :confused3

We will be there from 2/3 - 2/10 staying at WL standard view. Waiting and hoping for a good general code to save some $$$$$. We are very excited, this will be our first time staying at WL.

Instead of taking one long vacation like I did in Feb 2005, I'm going to try and do 4 shorter WDW vacations next year. The dates I'm going to try for are May 13-20, July 1-8, Oct 25-29 (short trip for MNSSHP) and Dec 2-Dec 9, 2006 (MVMCP).

I have already pretty much planned where we are going in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Have not reservations (DVC restrictions) but know all the hotels we are doing...I am just figuring out the logistics of next years trip.

July 2006: Grand Floridian for 6 nights
Month??/2007: 7 Night DCL Cruise
Late Jan. 2008: 5-6 nights at OKWV
July 2008: 5-6 nights at WLV

We are heading down the last week of Sept 06 - and now have a room at WL. We are also thinking about exteding our stay from, 7 to 10 days. The hurricanes have me a little spooked, but hopefully everything will work out. Forgot to add we booked with the Magic for Less and Deb has once again unbelieveable even dealing with a control freak like me.

We are planning a late August 2006 trip. We plan to split our stay between the YC and AKL (probably spending more time at YC).
I just can't wait!!!!

:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy:

We are foregoing our July 4th vacation next year to utilize our AP's and will stay in WDW from Father's day for a little more than a week (more specifically BCV) and then head over to HRH for a 2 day stay (can't afford any more than that! )

We're going Oct 4-14 2006. Staying at the Poly...nothing booked yet but it will be through CRO in about the next week or so.

Already hoping for codes and discounts too of course. I've got AAA so I'll start with that but if something better comes out I'll jump on it!

Just to verify --- Octover 4th is the last day of "value season" for 2006 correct?

I think that's what I read but want to make sure I can sneak our check in on the last day of value

We will be going to Poly in Sept 2-8 or 3-8 2006. Haven't booked yet because I am stil weighing my options.
I really want to try concierge but need to justify the cost.
I am also thinking hard about AP, as that could save quite a bit of change on the room, and if we go the next year a week earlier the AP would pay for itself. Does AP ever offer room discounts on concierge?
But then I couldn't get the dining plan...oh so many choices! Driving me insane!

Any insight/expert advice would certainly be helpful. This is tough!

We are booked Feb 1-7, 2006 for a package with 6 day hoppers and dining. I went through my local AAA. We are staying at Coronado Springs. This is our first family vaction to the World. Can you say "excited?" Woo Hooooooooooo! 131 days and counting!

I posted on here awhile back, but we had to chage our plans thanks to DS and DD being in two different school districts. Policies for being absent for vacas is different, AAAHHH!!!!

We decided to go in June from the 18-25. This way we don't have to deal with the schools. Plans are to stay at POP to save money. ;) Well at least until I get to the outlet malls and Downtown Disney. :teeth:

I also have found a GREAT AAA TA on the DIS that we will be booking our trip with. Love knowing that she knows about the DIS and alot about Disney, unlike the other TA we booked through for our last trip. Plus she will make AR's for us also, especially Cindy's breakfast depending on when the 90 day mark hits. That's nice to know, cause I am not a morning person. LOL!!!
I would hate to bite a CM's head off over the phone that early in the morning. :rotfl:

We haven't booked anything yet, waiting till Jan, since that is AAA's Disney month. Plus we are also trying to add to our family, so we thought it would be better to at least wait til then to book to see if anything happens.
