7 more days!!!!!!!!!! Just think at this time next week - I'll either be:
1. Trying to get kids to bed
2. Trying to get kids to be calm
3. Trying to keep mom calm
4. Catching a show and trying to keep kids from screaming
or
5. Drinking!!!

Any one will do -- I'LL BE ON MY FIRST CRUISE!!

Actually, you probably will not be trying to get the kids to bed at this time in 1 week. More than likely, they will still be at the club and you will be having a blast. As i indicated in previous posts, on our second cruise, my children nearly lived at the lab. My DW felt guilty about it and wanted to have family time. After about an hour of family time, back to the lab the kids wanted to go. I told both DW and the kids that, if that is where they want to spend their time, it is their vacation too and off they went.

I was checking out a thread that shows lots of photos of Captain Jack onboard and on CC. I just might get kicked off the ship for trying to get him to come back to my room one evening while Tyler's in the kids' club! OOPS....Not very Disney of me! Better wash my mouth and mind out with soap.

It may not be very Disney of you...but little Pirates have to come from somewhere.

I also am all for the getting lost in a fog and not coming back on time!!

Last time we planned an excursion at every port to make up for not being able to afford any excursions at all our first cruise. After doing it both ways, I prefer to just wing it so I can relax whenever I want to. We only booked one this time and other than that will do whatever we feel like. Probably lots of bingo if Travis is still the CM doing that. What a cutie! WAY too young, but such a cute accent and great to look at. (More water tossed, more steam!)

The first cruise, we planned excursions at both St. Marten and St. Thomas. The second cruise, we planned an excursion at Key West, just went shopping at Cozumel, and did not even get off the ship at Grand Cayman. I liked it better the second way. So we are not planning any excursions at all on this cruise. Probably go shopping and hang out.

THAT'S my kind of cruise! That's what I'll be doing, except for our Atlantis Submarine ride.

The Atlantis submarine is one of the excursions that we did in 2001. The girls loved it. It was absolutely amazing being down there. What amazed me was that colors disappear. You and Tyler need to wear something that is bright red when you go on this excursion and then see what color it becomes once you get down the cruising depth of the sub.

Wow! Amazing! He has a red shirt, so I'll try to remember to have him wear it. I'm a little worried about it because I'm extremely claustrophobic. Yeah, I know there are windows, but the idea of being under the water might panic me. Especially after watching Poseidon. KIDDING!

Although this goes against my procrastinator lifestyle, I started making a list tonight of everything I need to pack. We're flying into Orlando from Milwaukee on the early morning flight, renting a car, and then heading slowly to Port Canaveral.

We need to stop somewhere and get a soft sided rolling bag, some liquid libations, and just generally start our vacation the way we should... easy.

But we are staying overnight at the residence Inn.

Are there poolside rooms we should try to get? It would be great to just slip out early in the mornign to have a quick dip before we head to the port.

Would love to meet up with some folks there if anyone is doing the same.

Just got done looking at the Nationl Hurricane center website. Looks like now it's going to turn and hit FL. It has it over the northern east coast on Friday at 2am. It better speed up and get out of the way, the only hurricane I want to hear about is the kind that comes in a cup with an umbrella!
Did power shopping for the cruise last night. 5 formal outfits in 2 hours, still have to get shoes for two of us. I think that might be a record
