HOORAYY!!! I am so excited to be able to book at least a couple of things tomorrow! :yay: Hopefully things will run smoothly for everyone!

Hope you are all having a great weekend. We are currently down at WDW and it is nice weather. We are doing more things like mini-putting and late afternoon water parks.

Well, have a great night all!
:tink:

I was just able to book Palo and one excursion online. I would like to give a heads up though, Firefox does not appear to work with booking. I had to use Internet Explorer to book. I have Palo brunch on Sunday at 1030. Mina and I did the dinner last time. Want to try the brunch this time out. We still have not figured out what we want to do at the St Maartin/St Thomas.

I got everything I wanted booked: Palo dinner, brunch and high tea; Stingray excursion at CC; and registered the kids in the club. We decided we're going to do things on our own at the other ports. I've got to back and print everything out that I booked in the weeeee hours of the morning because I don't remember times or days!

So is everyone coming in the day before? We already have the Hyatt booked for the night before. We're still considering staying there the night after we return or getting a day room and having a late flight out later the same day.

We are coming in a week early and staying at OKW. We are staying at WLV for one night after the cruise. Is anyone else visiting the parks before the cruise?

We're coming in the day of the cruise and staying 2 days at WDW after. I'd much rather do the parks before the cruise, but that's just how it works out with my schedule.

I was trying to book excrusions online and they don't recgonise me as a castaway clube member, although my member number was on my profile. Tired to call them, just got the voice recording about their website and when I pressed 1 on promote, I just got a busy tone. Wasted 3 long distance calls. I just sent them a email and try to call again tomorrow. :rolleyes1

Hello all! We got our ressies =) Palo for Dinner, Tea and Brunch. Have to try the latter two and won't miss the first after our 3 day cruise experience there! We're doing dinner on Wednesday, Brunch Sunday and Tea Monday. I might try to change dinner to whichever of the first 3 nights is Parrots Cay (or whatever that restarit's called b/c that's my least favorite menu. However, of course you don't know what night that will be until you board, so it would mean making a change if possible. And, if we're in Parrot's Cay the first night, I wouldn't do that b/c of the kids...so for now, Wed. will be great =). Also booked a couples cabana massage on Castaway Cay. Ahhhhhh.

Also, got the kids signed up for the club, thanks to whoever mentioned that, I didn't realize I could go ahead and take care of that. I haven't filled out the rest of the paperwork yet, mostly b/c that will require pulling out the passports and bringing them with me when I go upstairs to the computer and I haven't rememberd to do that yet =).

We live 30 min. from the port, so our only worry is getting someone to drive us up there and pick us up when we get back, no concerns about where to stay the day before, which is nice!

So we're pretty well set for now, just trying to make the time go faster!

Take care-
Courtney

Ressies booked, how cool is that? :cool1: I did not plan to be up at 3:30 am to do ressies, but my sister arrived then from SC, she's moving back to NJ. So since I was up, what the heck. Got all of the Palo days and times we wanted, shore excursions set, our youngest registered in the club and book a couple spa villa this afternoon. Now as long as all goes well, all we have to do is walk onto the ship and enjoy lunch. Except for the one stop at the dining rotations desk, we need to make sure we are placed in our favorite Head Server, now Dining room manager (we've heard)'s station. Other than that we're done. I love this system! :cheer2:

Hi All,

We got our ressies and preferred times for Palo (Dinner, Brunch, Tea), all shore excursions and spa treatments. :thumbsup2

We are just so excited to go on this cruise we can hardly wait.

We too will be going to the parks 4 days before the start of the trip and staying at Boardwalk Villas.

My parents are coming and haven't been to Disney since we were there as a family in 1987 and have NEVER been on a cruise. Dad's always wanted to go on a cruise, but mom never wanted too with her fear of the sea. Well now they have an excuse to go. I think we compromised as mom wanted land and dad sea ;)

Regs,

CJM

We got our Palo dinner, spa, and excursion ressies but didn't get Palo's brunch, hoping to book on the cruise, keeping our fingers crossed.

we want to do coral world and coki beach on St. Thomas, but the excursion doesn't last that long from what I can gather from the start/stop times. So I think we'll cab it there, use the online $3.00 off coupon from the site, then cab it back to the boat. (Still thinking... Oh what to do, what to do... :confused3 )

 Well howdy!

We'll be joining y'all on this sailing and we (me, DW, and DD-4-1/2) can't wait! We cruised the Western in Jan. '05 and had a great time, even though the seas were so rough that all the watersports were canceled at Key West, we couldn't tender into Grand Cayman so missed that port, the pools were closed a few times because the water was sloshing so badly, and worst of all, we made two attempts to dock at Castaway Cay and got SOOOOO close, but couldn't make it in. Happily, we love days at sea so didn't mind the extra sailing days-- plus the free drinks they threw in didn't hurt either! We booked this cruise onboard that one (see my "tips" thread on the main DCL board!) and good thing too, not sure we'll be able to afford DCL's rising prices for too long!

Anyway, got up and did the 3AM thing this weekend and got our Palo brunch and dinner ressies and registered DD for the Club (hope she'll meet some nice friends!). Haven't made our mind up yet on excursions... we might just take a chance and wait til we're onboard to see what the weather looks like. Still looking for some cheap flights from Wash DC too! :yay: Oh yeah, we're spending a few days at ASMo beforehand on the free dining deal-- couldn't pass it up!

Looking forward to a great cruise! pixiedust: Go away hurricanes!

Yea- another 4 year old girl!!! If you check Monstro's photo site, our family photo is up so you can see my DD. She was 4 in Feb. and can't wait to do the kids' club! It would be great if any of the other 4 year olds sent pics to post on Monstro's site so they can feel like they know who will be in the club with them...

Also, a thought on cheap flights- have you checked DC to Melbourne? Delta has a nonstop a couple times a day from DC to Melbourne. Melbourne (MLB airport code) is only about 30 min, maybe 40 from the airport, to the port so I bet it would be a cheaper cab ride too... Anyway, it might be worth looking into while you're checking flights.

Good luck-
Courtney

Hi Courtney!

Our DD Rosie was 4 in Feb. too-- on the 9th! She's so excited about going back to the "Club"... she was a little young on our Jan. 2005 cruise but she still talks to this day about hunting for Tinkerbell! Thanks for the tip on MLB-- unfortunately I just checked and it looks to be about $100 more than MCO :sad2: so I'll just keep watching...

We got our Palo ressies, but I'm holding off on the Spa. I'm trying to decide if I want to take a chance with the daily specials or book a sure thing.

We've also booked our pre-cruise days at Saratoga Springs and I've already got my new Disney Visa rewards card, so I can transfer my pts over and load up our onboard account.

Hi all,

I was able to book PALO for dinner, but was too late to get a brunch ressie. As someone else said a couple of posts back, I'm hoping there will be some brunch slots available when I get on board! I've done dinner before, but never the brunch and I've heard it's phenomenal!

Booked my excursions, all through DCL, so I'm ready to get going. I just got off Adventure of the Seas this past weekend from a Southern Caribbean trip from San Juan to St Thomas, St Maarten, St Lucia, Antigua and Barbados. The cruise was a blast, but it would have been much better if it had been a Disney Cruise!!!

so disappointed that all of the palo brunch ressies are gone. this is our first Disney cruise. Is it possible that some ressies will be available once we get on board? regardless i am so excited to go. all teh tips are so helpful. went to the dollar store and picked up a couple of floats for cc. :sunny:

The minute you get on the ship, go and check and see if anything is available. If they take your name and promise to contact you, make sure you check back with them.

We left our name and stateroom number on our first Disney Cruise, and no one ever called us.

Good luck!
