Well Nick is not interested in going out tonight. Which is fine since tommorow we have a realitor coming so that we can get this place on the market and start looking for a new place and we had to bake cookies tonight for Nick's German class for 10 extra credit points so I'm pooped.

Okay, here you go, Julie. It's the only picture I have of mostly only Walker - the rest were taken with his friend or my daycare and I'm not comfortable posting other peoples kids pictures. I took this while he was walking in the parade around the school this afternoon. I called his name and I can tell by the picture, he's thinking "what do you want, Mom".

Cameron, my son who hasn't tricked or treated for about 4 years now, just came home with a boatload of candy. Junior High has been a good change for him as he's met new friends at school. Walker, OTOH, went around our block and was pretty much done. My kids are not big candy eaters, so I know that Gary will be hitting the stash.

We had so many adorable kiddos come by last night - the best was a little bumble bee - she might have been 2 or so and just so cute.

Cruise date is 9/21/08

Everyone can call in, it is not a sign up first for new DVC'ers this year.

My roomate and I have opted to do the B2B again next year. We had loads of fun doing the two cruises together. Not packing after the MC was great.

I haven't made my decision about SSMC08 yet! It makes it hard, now that I work in a school, to take time off during the school year. Plus, Emily will be in 1st grade, so do I take her out of school to go on vacation all week???

Well we have a For Sale sign on our place now.
Jeff talked to the realtor and the morgage guy for most of the day yesterday, we had a list of houses to peruse online and have been pre approved already so....... today we drove around to get a first look at the outside of some of the places we checked out online!!
The wheels are in motion now so we'll see how it goes!

I saw that thread. In fact, I posted on it.

Who would have thought but I'm considering taking just Walker. We've wanted to do a mommy/Walker trip for a while. It will be the start of the new school year but as he'll be in 3rd grade, to me, I can still take him out with ease. Cameron will be 8th grade and have not as much flexibility.

We'll be on our way to the Thanksgiving week cruise on call in day so if we decide to do it, it will be through the waitlist. I'm not sure how the waitlist worked for this years cruise, but I do know on the 06 cruise that some were able to get in months after booking day.

Time will tell.

Karen and I are thinking about going on the next Members Cruise - she knows I really missed being on this years cruise even tho we cruised quite a bit - we're a bit hooked on cruising -

We have decided we are not going on the member cruise 2008. Just yesterday I booked a Mexican Riviera cruise for April 2008. So, within the next 8 months we have our DCL Christmas cruise, Spring Break @ Vero and WDW, Princess Mexican Riviera cruise and finally our NCL Alaska Cruise. DH says he is OUT of vacation time and I can't plan any more trips until 2009! I am sure he was just talking about HIS vacation time

I still have a 20th class reunion for this summer coming up and who knows what else

Since we are coming in on Thursday I didn't want to put that date as the date we were cruising so I just put Sunday's date. By Saturday I'll mentally be on the ship!

By the way, 2 weeks from now and we will be at the port

Ok, I just have to tell you all this especially since you all know what a goof John is.

Last night we were out with friends at this Bar & Grill we have been going to for the past 2 months. They have Karaoke on Saturday night and some of these people are pretty good. Cheap beer and good entertainment - you can't go wrong.

Last night as we were enjoying a few John leaves the table but he's back in a couple of minutes. When he gets back he's awfully quiet (and you all know John isn't a very quiet person). We finally get out of him that when he opened the door to leave the bathroom he looked across the hallway and saw written on the other door MENS.

He thought it was a little odd that there was a vase of flowers on the sink counter top. He then let us know that the paper towel machine was empty in the ladies room and he was not about to tell anyone working there that he knew this.
