Happy Anniversary Tim & Tina!!
It sure was a rainy day today.
It seemed like Cameron's 2 hour baseball game lasted forever. Towards the end, it stopped raining and then started again.
It's rather on the chilly side today as well but the Pirate won yet again! I believe they are in 1st place in the standings, which means that Cameron won't miss the first playoff game next Saturday as it's a by week.
Walker went to a Cub Scout outing this afternoon done by Radio Disney. They gave away prizes to the Cub Scouts as well as the crowd. And, for those of you in NY, free samples of Carvel ice cream! Our grocery store now carries the ice cream cakes so I just might pick one up for Gary's birthday in a couple of weeks. Walker won tickets to a local amusement park, but they are only good on Wednesday and both Gary & I have to work on Wednesday. Talk about a bummer!
Cameron heads to camp tomorrow morning, bright and early at 6 a.m. It's going to be easier on Mom to have him gone for the week, I'll miss him terribly but I know that he'll be having a blast. I've seen the Troop with my own eyes on campouts now and feel so much more confident that he'll be okay and I know for sure he'll have a blast!
Gary's working tomorrow so Walker & I are back to Brookfield Zoo. Walker wants to catch a new supply of cicadas as the ones he brought home on Monday are now fertilizer. I wonder if my putting them in the garage for the night contributed to that at all.
They sure are noisy and we still have none in our neck of the woods.
Stacy, I see that you got ***'d out!
Who would have thought that Member Home***ing was such a bad thing!
