Happy Anniversary Tim & Tina!!

It sure was a rainy day today. :umbrella: It seemed like Cameron's 2 hour baseball game lasted forever. Towards the end, it stopped raining and then started again. :umbrella: It's rather on the chilly side today as well but the Pirate won yet again! I believe they are in 1st place in the standings, which means that Cameron won't miss the first playoff game next Saturday as it's a by week.

Walker went to a Cub Scout outing this afternoon done by Radio Disney. They gave away prizes to the Cub Scouts as well as the crowd. And, for those of you in NY, free samples of Carvel ice cream! Our grocery store now carries the ice cream cakes so I just might pick one up for Gary's birthday in a couple of weeks. Walker won tickets to a local amusement park, but they are only good on Wednesday and both Gary & I have to work on Wednesday. Talk about a bummer! :(

Cameron heads to camp tomorrow morning, bright and early at 6 a.m. It's going to be easier on Mom to have him gone for the week, I'll miss him terribly but I know that he'll be having a blast. I've seen the Troop with my own eyes on campouts now and feel so much more confident that he'll be okay and I know for sure he'll have a blast!

Gary's working tomorrow so Walker & I are back to Brookfield Zoo. Walker wants to catch a new supply of cicadas as the ones he brought home on Monday are now fertilizer. I wonder if my putting them in the garage for the night contributed to that at all. :guilty: They sure are noisy and we still have none in our neck of the woods.

:rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: Stacy, I see that you got ***'d out! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: Who would have thought that Member Home***ing was such a bad thing! ;)

Hey all, back from our brief studios trip. The summer crowds are in force. We met up with Jeff , then went to ESPN then headed out.

OK, now the Mickey Luke and Minnie beanies are on sale. They sell as a set for $16.99 regularly $30. Also, the poster is $12.99, down from $25.

Mary, They have no more blue shirts in XL and they didn't come down in price for the adults. The youth ones are $9.99.

Tina, I didn't see a 3XL only a 2XL. I will ask tomorrow. I will probably only be able to buy the black one as the bigger sizes in blue were sold out.

People were lined up as early as 12:10AM for Anthony Daniels (C3PO) autograph fast pass. Friends who I met last year at Star Wars weekends got there at 5AM and I think were second session. He is the only signature I haven't gotten yet and I plan on being there by 5AM tomorrow. I was originally in AD's line but got out because I heard in years past he didn't sign for all his standby tickets and that was true for both yesterday and today. He sent home a lot of disappointed, sunburned fans. Oh, and the guy in front of me in the AD line got the last standby ticket, number 60.

It was crazily hot today, easily the hottest day of the year here in central Florida. My car thermometer read 103 but after driving a little it read between 97 and 100 on and off on the drive home at 5PM. Also, when I left the park the first time at 9:45AM all but 2 turnstiles were people entering the park and they wer 5-10 people deep each one. Star Wars Weekends are drawing a LOT of people to MGM.

It's weird because I read your post and then I went back to mine and all the words looked fine so I was like "What is she talking about?":confused3

But then I saw something posted elswhere on the thread that mentioned there was a problem earlier with the letters C O M, I guess it's fixed now.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TINA AND TIM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sadly we are also missing CP this year :( Matt starts a new job tomorrow :yay: and things have been a bit tight for a few weeks since his old employer was jacking around with their hours.

Diana - how's the potential move coming along?

Where is he near Albany?

The trip from here to OH isn't that bad---the good thing is there's zero chance of hitting a blizzard on the back side of Buffalo, so the trip is bearable--just very very boring.
He stayed at the Holiday in on Wolf Rd. near the airport. Then he was working near Selkirk in town of Bethleham as in the Christmas song I guess. He made it home and we've been having a couple of days to play since today and tomorrow are his days off. I am taking off tomorrow to. Don't know that we will go anywhere special tomorrow. It is supposed to be very hot/humid.

Julie, sorry you and Matt won't be making it to CP.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TINA AND TIM!
See some of you soon.

Story of my life.....a day late & a dollar short. :rolleyes1

We are officially exhaused. We shopped the morning away, and then came home and worked in the yard. It's not really hot here but the humidity is a killer. We weeded almost everything that needed to be weeded, trimmed a couple of bushes, staked the tomato plants and lots of general cleanup type stuff. Even Walker did his fair share and really helped a lot. Now if it could only stay this way. :upsidedow

Julie, we wish Matt the best in his new job tomorrow. pixiedust:

Oh man he was at the HI on Wolf Rd! I used to work the front desk there!
Jeff & I pass it going to work everyday, we could have stopped and met him for dinner or something.
Oh well maybe some other time if he is in this neck of he woods. The summertime is pretty nice around here between different events in Albany and near by Saratoga and even just over the border in Mass. or Vermont.

That's how I feel somtimes.
Well our weekend wasn't so busy. Jeff's Mom, sister & niece are up from North Carolina and were over on Saturday.
We also did some baby shower shopping for one of Jeff's co-worker's so I got to have some fun at the Disney Store. They had a bunch of stuff marked down and an additional discount on top of that so I got some really cute things for them and us.
Heck for like $54 I got 6 baby t-shirts, 2 adult t-shirts, 5 plates, 1 cup, 2 smaller stuffed animals, 4 bath mitts, 2 antenna toppers, and a 3 pack of small storage bowls!

Today was food shopping day and just doing some stuff around the house. We stopped at Michael's and I got 2 photo storage boxes and I slightly decorated the covers which is what I am going to pack the baby presents in. Oh I forgot the are having twins so it's 2 of everything. The storage boxes can be used after they take out the presents to hold some of the boys momento's ie: hospital bracelet, cards, and such.

I always like the idea of putting presents in containers that can be used later rather than wrapping paper. The cost is usually the same even by the time you purchase the paper and all the trimming

Thanks for looking Jeff, any one that you can get in a 3x is good! Wow, 103??? I hope its not that hot when we are down there in July, but if it is, oh well! Were you able to get the autograph? Hope so!

Thank you all for the anniversary wishes! We had a great evening! Just went to dinner and then came home and relaxed with a movie!

Today we moved a little farther with the kitchen...This electricity is a nightmare! We decided to knock out a wall, and combine the kitchen and dining room, and now we have to rewire some stuff, and the electricity has never been updated. Its so much fun. We had some friends and family over to help so that made things a little easier!

Matt...Good Luck on the new job!

Cindy...We have plenty of cicadas here, tell Walker I can send some his way! I cleaned off the deck today, it looked like cicada mass suicide!

Well, Happy Monday to all!!!
