For those of you wondering. Last cruise Chris (sanddune) booked back to backs. When we got diverted to Ft. Lauderdale (where Dan in his clean bus picked up Diana) her family got to stay onboard for 3 more days of fun.

I just thought she knew something the rest of us didn't.

Janet- Last year we rented a car from Budget and turned it in near the port and they have a free shuttle to the port. We then rented another car when we got back. It was really easy and saved some money.

Welcome!! Glad to have someone else around to talk about snow with. You'll find some people here (not mentioning any names) like to brag about 80 degree weather while we are digging out!

We've booked our second Members cruise- about time I got into this. We were on 2005 Member cruise by our selves, this time we take our three teens. DS16, DD14, & DD13. My first time on the boards, thought I'd get to know people.

Just thought I'd intro myself as I've not posted here before. My name is Ilene and I live south of Boston with my DH of 25 yrs and 2 adult children. Also two terrific schnoodles pups. We are "seasoned" disneyites and I have been a member of Disneydollarless since near it's inception. I've been on these boards awhile too but not very active. I'm am thrilled to be able to join the rest of you on this new member cruise. I had so wanted to do it this year but it was DD first week at college and I knew I needed to be nearby if she needed me, and it turned out she did so I'm glad I didn't chance it. Yes I'm yelling because this is our 1st DVC cruise as members.

We were on the Wonder back in 2000.
I Can't wait to get acquainted with everyone else who are going too.
We just got back from SSR last week for Thanksgiving.

oh and to Kerlynne when we were on the Wonder in 2000 we had room 2116 and it was awesome. Great location I might add.

For anyone who might be interested, I'm certain talk of fish extenders will come up on this thread. Several of us have purchased them off of ebay from a seller Mrs.Lips. I checked ebay, right now she doesn't have any. This is a picture of our door from the last cruise (which so happens to be the same cabin on this cruise ). The fish extender is hanging from the message fish on the wall. Mine is light blue. Others bought them in yellow and pink. Here's a picture of what they look like (sorry, Julie, I know you won't be able to see it ):

DIsney states that the free Magical Express is only until Sept 2006. No plans so far to extend it.

That makes a difference.

If ME is not free anymore and we need to rent a car anyway. We will probably rent a car and drive it to the port. $12.00 per day is pretty steep! Since this is a DVC cruise too bad we don't get free parking like we do when we go home.

I checked on towncars and for three people from the Disney resorts to the port it runs $210-$230 round trip. Disney is $59 per person, so $177 round trip. Limo's and taxis are more expensive yet.
