Public Service Announcement!!

Time for some post-Thanksgiving PM box cleaning.

Well, a minor tragedy is over at our house. Madison was trying to sit on her little wooden Pooh chair and it fell over right onto her two littlest toes. She immediately started screaming and came right over to my mom, who happened to be here. She was limping a little, and wanted mommy, so I took her, turned her around to find her two little toes bleeding. We woke up Chris, who had gone to bed early because he wasn't feeling well, and he helped us clean her up. It looks like the chair came right down onto the nail of her littlest toe and it's all purple underneath (yuck!). We bandaged up her toes and after a few minutes she was running around chasing after Emily again. Poor little toesies!!!

Ouch, poor Maddie!! It's amazing how quick they bounce back though!

PD to Madisom, I can't wait for when Ian does something similar. He has a couple of toys he tries to pull on top of himself; I hope he will learn the realities of the law of gravity without too much incident... Speaking of which, this evening during Playtime I was lying on the floor, he pulled himelf up on the table near me, tried to take a step...Wham! I was talking in falsetto for a couple of minute...Ouch!. He bounced up and fell on his tushy. I winced...


Sweet dreams all... I have to meet Fedex at my office at 7:00 AM CST. Exactly one week and one hour from call in time.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID

We are going to get our tree today. It will probably take hours. It always seem like I find a tree but then we have to look for at least 1 hour to see if there is a better one and then go back and cut down the first tree we saw. We get about a 12 foot tree and it never seems big enough at the tree farm. Tom always tells me that it is huge and I never listen. When we get it home it takes up half of the living room but I love it. It is really pretty out today as we got about 3 inchs of snow last night and everything is covered in white. Tomorrow it is going to rain and be warmer here.

Okay - I think I'm caught up on reading what I've missed.

I have arrived in Delaware to pick up sis and her dh - they are coming down to WDW with me and we will be leaving on Monday morning. Visiting with famiy and friends and, of course, my favorite casino while I'm here - not to mention a bit of tax-free shopping!

Turkey dinner went well for me on Thursday but it was cold outside! Must say it was the best turkey I've made yet - thus the stress with company coming and all. Packed up the van later that night in the cold and was on my way in the wee hours. Did I read that Gail called me the "driving queen"? Oh, my 8' Mickey didn't like the winds much - he kept crashing down on Thursday so I hope you didn't drive by that night Gail.

Will check in when I can - off to play today!

One week left til call-in - I can't wait!!! :cheer2

And it would be great to have a Michigan meet - let me know when!!!

And Karen - you don't live too far from Westland - it would be great to meet another DIS/DVCer from my area.

I DID sleep in, I got to sleep until 8:30 (on the couch, DH was snoring). But, Emily did come in at 7am to get her breakfast.
