Thanks to one and all & Happy Thanksgiving to all and one. I'm protective of my brittle (type 1) diabetic wife, and as you can see she is protective of me. (blinking quickly)

ahem, Will let you all know the outcome (sorry if you are like the second or third to find out - I'm sure you understand.)

- Curt

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! We hope that everyone is having a YUMMY day!!!

Karen - We hope that everything works out for you, and wish you the best!! Keep us updated and we'll be here for you!

Karen and Curt - I hope you get good news next Friday. If not, I'm sure you will get by. Miles can separate what you have together. Annmarie

Hi Cheryl :wave2:

Thanksgiving was nice. We didn't go anywhere, just cooked at home. Kids played video games, I listed some stuff on ebay. Then we all sat down to watch our Thanksgiving holiday tradition movie -- It's a wonderful life. Somehow all of us started dosing off before the ending, so we'll finish watching it maybe today. No matter how many times I've seen it, I always cry at the end.

It's quiet around here so far this morning.......is everyone out Black Friday shopping?? There wasn't anything that appealled to me enough to get up and go out. Gary would like to get the Garth Brook set at Wal-Mart, but so far, I can't get him up out of bed. Who knows, by this time, they are maybe all sold out anyway!

We ended up not going BF shopping. I just didn't find anything that I just HAD to have. I did buy a couple things online, and I might go out later today, just because it's tradition, but I think that it's going to just be to the local scrapbook store.

Good morning everyone. Nice thanksgiving out with family at Mark's Aunt and Uncle's house. No shopping for me today. I think my FIL gave me his cold. I have a very sore throat. I'm staying home and cleaning house. We'll decorate the house tomorrow.

Had a great turkey day yesterday. Didn't go shopping this morning but tried yesterday. I went to Meijers at 5 am to try to get the $50 Ipod shuffle but the line was already too long so I got my milk B1G1 and left. I think today is cleaning day and we are getting our tree tomorrow. I can't wait. I love Christmas.

Well, it's almost 10:00 and I've just about finished my shopping!!! :cool1: I just have a couple of gift cards to buy, so no big deal. I woke up at 4:15, showered and was at Walmart by 4:45. I grabbed my DVD recorder, Care Bears, Cinderella Dress and a couple of other clothing items and was back in the car by 5:10!!! :earseek: Next was Kohls, they opened at 5, so I knew I was already behind. No worries....I got all the toys I needed for 50% off and was out the door by 6:00....at Michaels for 6:05.....$100 later (all on me, but I saved like $80) I was at Toys R US at 6:30 and the sun hadn't come up yet!!! Got my power wheels, Dora tent, Doctor Kit and Tool Bench (for Emma she wants tools, I'm trying to get her to wear the princess dress while working with the tools!) 7:15---Target.....got my 1 item I needed there, back in the car. OK Great, it's 7:30 now what do I do???? Go to the mall!!! I just hit K&B Toys and the Disney store to grab the Higglytown Heroes and a couple of sweatshirts for the girls. Home by 9:00. Is it nap time yet?? :faint:

You guys should have seen me with my very complex Excel spreadsheet analyzing the deals and times the stores opened. I looked like such a geek!! My project for the after noon is to figure out how much $$ I saved!!

Whew!!! You make me feel tired!!! I did do some online shopping last night, buying dual portable DVD player for the girls on Samsclub.com and I have a bunch of stuff in my shopping basket for Gymboree.com. I need to finish up that and then we are going to the PO to drop off SSMC05 DVD/CDs. Then, we are going to the park for a picnic.

Yeah, we can do that - it is in the 70's here - high of 79. The Today Show in NY showed poor souls out in 25 degrees! Yet another reason to move to Florida...

HEY! This is my 111th post - maybe I need a congradulatory thread...

Hi Cindy!!
------------------
Happy Birthday to Julie!
----------------------------
No shopping today.

Tommorow I need to find a best buy and then spend $25 so I can get my extra rewardzone points.

Cheryl

No shopping for me today. DH and DS went to the Bruins game and I'm home baking apple pies. It's going to be a quiet day for me.

Mary - I hope you feel better. I was sick with strep throat a week ago and I'm just starting to feel better! Take care of yourself. You need to be able to speak with MS next Saturday!!!

Annmarie

Diana - wow you are a power shopper!

Amy & Chris - enjoy your picnic. If we did that up here we'd freeze!

Annmarie -thanks for the well wishes.

I did do some shopping today. Got my BIL to buy for (since is just adults now we agreed to just make lists and put our names in a hat and you buy a set of presents for just one person). So I got Jason and was able to do just about all my shopping on Amazon.

Hi all, was busy yesterday, vleaning garage after Family Brunch. Wel, tomorrow is my Birthday, and I am buying DW a new car

Happy belated Turkey Day...

Yea, us poor upstate NY souls had 14 degree weather to go out at 4:30am in!! :cold: We got about 3 inches of snow yesterday.....but my brother who lives near Buffalo had gotten 30 inches in the begginning of the week and close to another 2 feet yesterday. :faint:
