I haven't seen it but I've heard it was great. It was on again here last night or the night before, so I'll have to check if they plan to play it again soon and I will DVD it.

Thanks Diana! I think his show is coming to your town soon.

Julie, Aaron remembered you! He asked if it was the pretty lady on the deck next door. He likes your hair. Well that's one way of telling a girl she's pretty!

Hey, all of you chocolate lovers out there. Here's a unbelieveable story for you.

Walker just had a dessert. A bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream -- only kind in our house that Gary bought when he was shopping. When Walker was finished, he handed me his bowl. What's inside? Every piece of chocolate chip. Somehow Walker managed to eat all of the ice cream and not any of the chips. Walker told me, "you know, I'm not not a chocolate fan".

Not wanting good chocolate to go to waste, Cameron promptly scooped it up on the spoon and willingly stuffed it into his mouth. :teeth: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ah, a true story of brother helping brother! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

So, how about a GTKYFKK (That would be G(et) T(o) K(now) Y(our) F(ellow) K(razy) K(ruiser) question.......

What is your favorite kind of ice cream????

Mine would be anything with caramel. I'm not really an ice cream eater but if there is any caramel in there, I could devour the entire thing. We once bought some that was a caramel swirl with pieces of toffee in it. I have no idea what the name of it was but it was awesome. :cheer2:
Publix makes my favorite ice cream, it's Bear Claw, I think. It's dark chocolate ice cream with caramel swirled throughout and chocolate covered cashews. Yummy, yum, yum.

Oh, and my other favorite is Oatmeal Cookie Crunch by Ben & Jerry's. If you like oatmeal cookies, you'll LOVE this ice cream.

I just realized that your hint meant he was playing here in Schenectady! I didn't even realize that and we are donors to that theater.

Hey Stacy, he's playing Proctor's Monday night. I have DH's Christmas party in Saratoga that night. The real Saratoga, not SSR...I can only dream.

Just wanted to mention that I went to the Jim Brickman concert here last night (in the ice storm) and it was AMAZING and well worth it! I noticed on his website that he's headed up towards some of you soon and if it is not sold out I really encourage you to go. He does holiday, Disney and some of his great hits. Lila McCann, Mike Eldred and Tracy Silverman performed here with him.

Did anyone catch his recent PBS special - Jim Brickman at the Magic Kingdom? I guess it was on here at the end of November. If anyone gets a chance to tape/DVD it and could get a copy out we'll gladly pay for the costs to obtain a copy.
Speaking of Jim Brickman, we saw him, Kimberly Locke (American Idol) and Wayne Brady at WDW on Sunday. They were filming for Christmas Day. We stayed for a while to watch. It was really cool!!!

I loved his show too!!! I thought that it was a riot!! I was SO sad when it got cancelled. And, wasn't he cancelled right after he got a Daytime Emmy??? I thought that I heard something like that. Anyway, they were cracking jokes, having fun while they were practicing. It'll be cool to watch on Christmas day and know we were there when they filmed that portion.

Brief metion we are here, all is fine 2 hrs late. We are beat, longer report in the am. :)

well I made it. [ No snow in Orlando ] the snow at JFK didn't matter. Samantha had a Marathon. So I was watching that while on the plane.

Favorite ice cream - Soy Delicious or Sorbet
No dairy here.

Well as Mark said we have made it! Got to the airport early to beat the weather. Started snowing on our way. Had a nice dinner at Chiles in the airport and then settled in to wait for our flight. Our 5:11 flight finally boarded about 6 but then we had to be de-iced. Really left about 7pm. Flight was totally booked and since we were in the front we were in the last group to board so no room in the overheads. We just kept our bags under our seats which made leg room a little short but not too bad.

I love flying into John Wayne - what a beautiful airport! Got our rental car and I think it only took about 20 minutes. Got a nice room in the Sierra Tower with a view of the pool.

Off to bed - it is 1 am Chicago time!

Oh the Wayne Brady/Jim Brickman song is awesome! How fun to see them and then be able to watch on TV. Jim has quite a sense of humor - I laughed a ton at the concert.

I'm glad you guys arrived safetly.

We have a bit of digging out to do here today. I have a yardstick that I put out in the yard in the winter, and so far we have 3 inches here and it's supposed to continue most of the day. :cold:

I just realized Emma doesn't have boots!! That's what sprung me out of bed so early. Bruce takes my the trailblazer (4wd) to work on snowy days and I'll be car-less with a boot-less child who has been begging to make a snowman every time she sees snow on TV!! BAD BAD MOMMY!!! I guess winter just snuck right up on me! I'm usually so prepared. :guilty:

Well Thanks Guys! You sent the snow up here!LOL :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Bad Mommy Hint ~ You put her in her shoes, make sure she has thick socks on and then you take two plastic bags, put them on her feet and then wrap Duct Tape around the ankle area to keep the snow out! Instant Boots! Make sure the bags don't have holes! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: BTW, how do I know this, I have to do the same thing this morning! My zipper broke on my boots and have not bothered going out to get new ones! Gotta Luv Duct Tape!

Glad to hear Mark and Mary made it safely!

Have A Disney Day!

janet

Thank Goodness I don't have to shovel this! :earseek: :earseek:

I never would have thought of that. :cool1:

I did have a little girl with a broken arm one winter. We used a plastic bag and duct tape to wrap her up so that she could go out and play in the snow.
