They promised us one more. I think Cindy and Diana need to ask for it and then they send it. The rest of us don't seem to have that kind of power! :lmao:

Way to go Steve!!! :woohoo: The day is still young, think you can make it to 2800 by the end of it? What about 3000 by cruise time???

Looking forward to seeing you in a few days Mary. Okay like 13 or so but just a few in the scheme of things.

Squid
Especially considering that we've been planning this since they announced it on SSMC05 in Sept '05.

Okay those are WAY COOL! Did you have to go to each character or did you drop off withh guest services like the Pillow cases??

Squid

Dropped them off at Guest Services!

I put them in a large Ziploc with Name and Stateroom # and gave them different coloured Sharpies.

Just don't forget to pick them up at Guest Services at the end of the cruise! After 14 days of crusin' I almost forgot that I dropped them off! :lmao:

Congrats to Steve on 2750! Now let's see if you can get to 2800 by cruise time! :lmao:

I guess I should have read further - I was pushing him to the 3000 mark by cruise time. We all know Steve is capable of having ALOT to say :rotfl2:

One of the things that Carnival provided that I liked was the daily menus on the stateroom TV. It made planning my day much easier - should I cut out the afternoon snack because I was going to have two appetizers that evening or not

What a very cool idea! I wish DCL would also let you see your room charges on the TV like you can do in hotels. Plus while we are at it wouldn't it be great if we could see the navigator on the tv as well!

The way some of you are talking about going through Konk Koolers, you may not want to see your room charges before the end of the cruise :lmao:

I know that he has atleast one package for me so he will be stopping here today as that package states it is OUT FOR DELIVERY......

No room charges on the TV! I would see it and then faint and nobody would find me for hours! Then I would miss out on a lot of cruise time! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

But everything else would be great!

For the 11 night we did the mat boards. When we dropped them off at Guest Services they said they would have them delivered to our room by the last night. I wonder if they are delivering them to the rooms to cut down on the lines at Guest Services on the last night. It was very convienient though!

On our cruise last December on RCL when we took all of our kids, John went down to Guest Services to get a bill. Since it was going to be for 6 of us, he didn't want to wait until we were leaving to check it over. It was printing and printing and printing. John told the lady he only wanted HIS bill not the bill for everyone on our deck. She said "Sorry sir this is just your bill"! I think it was about 12 or 13 pages long. Note: never travel with 3 college aged kids who have charging privledges on your card!!

Ok, last one - this is my precious little sick Madison. She climbed up on my bed and fell asleep at only 11:30am (1pm is her regular nap time).

Amy, there is nothing more precious than a sleeping child. Too bad it's because she doesn't feel good. Love the way she has her "blankie." Hope she feels better soon.

Got some sad news yesterday. My best friend who lives in FL called to let me know her ex-husband (my cousin) past away. He died of liver failure. He had a liver transplant 3 years ago and it started failing about 1.5 years ago and unfortunately found out six months ago he wasn't a candidate for another transplant. He is leaving behind two boys (sophomore and senior in high school). They are both taking this very hard. Even though they have had a few months to prepare it's still difficult!

We are all waiting to find out what his new wife is going to do for arrangements. She is thinking about having a service here in MA only so if this happens, my friend and the boys will fly up and stay with Tom and I. His wife said she wants him to be where the rest of his family is buried. It's going to be a crazy week!

I am so sorry for your loss!
