The navigators are done!

All printed and folded. Next step is the packet labels and assembling the packets!
Thanks for doing this for all of us! You guys are great!

Hey everyone - we have survived!! Emily had a great party and the little girls seemed to have a lot of fun. And, my mom as the Fairy Godmother worked out fantastically. Here's a couple of pictures.

The girls look adorable! Your mom made a great fairy godmother - what a really cool grandma to do that! Looks like they had a great time!

Sure but I don't know where we are going to stay! Maybe we can just take over the Solarium at BCV until our DIS meet. :rotfl2:

That's where we will be if our waitlist for the 26th doesn't come through :rotfl2:

Oh, and since I downloaded all my pictures, here's one of Emily's Hooters birthday dinner.

NO Steve, Emily is not going to be your new best friend just because she has an "in" with the Hooter's girls!

Very embarasing when you don't double check and let someone stay at a house that isn't theirs. Same with letting people into their cars when the've locked the keys inside. You'd be SHOCKED at how many dishonest people we come across in this business.

I'm sure I would be shocked since I basically live under a rock and couldn't imagine doing those things. Amazing the schemes or is that scams some people can come up with. Maybe if they put all that energy into something positive they might have a more productive life. If they weren't out causing so much trouble then you could have more time to spend on the DIS :thumbsup2

The pictures are all so cute. Looks like a good time was had by all!

(Even Steve got to enjoy some of the party I see.) ;)

Hey guys - chat was fun tonight and I'm sorry that I never came back. I left to go give Madison some cough medicine and found that she was also running a 103 degree fever. We tried to give her some medicine, but it backfired and she got sick. YUCK!!! Anyway, so we had to clean up, give her a bath and try to get her back to sleep (which she's now doing in our bed with Chris).

Curt - I saw that you were trying to ask a question about parking fees and I sent you a PM.

Busy weekend here, but good busy.

We just got back from seeing Spamalot. Then DH took me for coffee/bakery.

I stopped by chat tonight after my in laws left - it was a little after 11:00 EST. Amy was showing as idle and no one else was there. That's probably better no one was there, I really need to get to bed - it's been a rather long day.

Sorry to hear Madison is sick. I hope she's feeling better in the morning. Hopefully it won't be too long of a night for you

Thanks Gail! It looks like it's croup, which is EXACTLY what she had on SSMC05, when I had to call Karen's DH, since she had never had it before. Anyway, she's sleeping with Chris right now, and I would imagine that it'll be a long night. But, at least she's sick now, and not in 2 weeks.

Whew! I'm finally caught up. Yesterday was a crazy day and I was so wiped I fell asleep at 7 pm (which is why I'm now up posting at midnight) :)

The plan was to meet some old friends from High School for lunch and a house tour. We do this every year usually back in my old neighborhood with a showcase house. They weren't doing it this year so one of the women suggest a museum house north of me. One of the women couldn't make it so there would just be three of us. The plan was to meet at 11:30. Should work out fine to be home in time for dinner with the in-laws (more on that later). We get home from grocery shopping and there is a message on the machine from my friend Karen saying they will be running late and won't get there until 12 because she has to drop her daughter off somewhere first. So I call her back and say fine but the tour hours are 1 pm and 3 pm and I don't think we'll make the first and I really can't stay for the second. But we agree to meet for lunch and then they will go on to the museum on their own. No big deal.

I had some errands to run for the cruise (needed new ink cartirdges, envelopes and labels for the button/navigator packets). Was able to stop at a Best Buy before lunch but only go the ink cartridges. So I get to the resturant at 11:58. No sign of them, not a surprise as Karen is always late. It is a nice day, there is a bench outside, I sit and wait. At 12:30 still no sign so I call Mark to see if he heard from them. Nope! They finally show up at 12:45! Now I love both of these women dearly but they both still live in the 1950's. No cell phones, no cable tv, one doesn't even drive! I won't even bother trying to explain the looks I get from them when I try and explain the DIS and this group!!!!!! Still we have an enjoyable lunch and I'm back headed home after running the last of my errands.

I get home to find Mark has talked to MIL and FIL and informed them we are going out to eat (can't cook here as the dining room table is full of travel stuff and thought FIL deserved better than just pizza for his birthday dinner). Haven't heard from BIL yet. Mark thinks to check his work e-mail and sure enough there is an e-mail from BIL saying they will be over at 5 but need to leave by 7. I suggest that he call BIL and tell them to meet us at the resturant. He tries to call but there is no answer at the house and the cell goes right into voice mail. MIL and FIL show up and inform us that BIL and his wife won't be coming as they don't like where we are going to eat. :confused3 Ok the whole reason we waited until this weeked was because they were out of town last weekend and FIL's birthday was this past Thursday.

So off we go for a nice meal at Macaroni Grill which I knew my MIL would now hate because her baby boy said he didn't like it. Got some major major guilt over dinner about our trip and how much MIL wishes she was coming with us. They are instead going out to CA to see her Brother. They also asked us what our plans are for next year. We kept mum about Hawaii and said we were just waiting to see what DVC had to offer (which is the truth). The one really good thing that came out of the evening is that since they get back from CA two days before we leave for WDW they gave us our anniversary present last night. Actually we will get it on the cruise as they (along with BIL and his wife) gave us a room credit. Nice! Of course even then MIL had to bring up during dinner that when she called the girl on the phone said "It's been a while since you sailed with us". Yep they haven't sailed on DCL since we all went in 2003.

So not has crazy a day as Cindy had but still exausting. I'm heading back to bed now. Sunday will be Mass, lots of laundry, updating my packing spreadsheet and generally getting things ready for the trip. I can't wait for our road trip and to see all of you!

Mary...I hope that tomorrow is much better for you!

Well, party day is here and I have a few more things to do around the house. Thankfully, the party isn't until 1pm. I sure hope that Emily is happy with this party. Now I remember why next year I should have the party somewhere else!!!
Hope everything went well with Emily's party!
