Way back in December it seemed like we'd never get on the ship, and now it's just 14 days away. And in 7 days we'll be at Epcot picking up our replacement DDE card since we can't find it, and checking out the The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

We're hoping to meet up with our former neighbors who've since moved away. They'll get to meet Ian for the first time and we'll get to meet their 10 month old grandson for the first time.
We might try to make it over to EPCOT next Sunday for the new NEMO ride. We'll have to see how it goes, since technically Chris is still on call.

Karen has seen Wicked four times. She's traveled to Chicago to see it three times and once here in Detroit. I've seen it twice and it really is a classic Broadway musical. We both highly recommend it for anyone who is considering seeing it.

We just saw it in September and it truly lived up to its billing. I'm thinking of buying tickets for The Pirate Queen (written by the same duo who wrote Les Miswhich opens in NY in the spring. It comes up to Chicago first, so if any of you Chicagoans here anything good about it, would you all pass it on?

There are rare exceptions and i think your parents are part of that group. My Mom was as well. If she were still alive she'd love to be cruising with us and part of the group.

Well Dad is a Social Butterfly, as am I. My Mom not so much.
But I must admit, I do have cool parents. How many people at my age (37 yrs old for those that don't know) can say they still take vacations with their parents and have fun! :confused3 Not that many I bet.
I'm not saying the whole trip goes smooth as silk but in whole we always have a good time.

Hey everyone - we have survived!! Emily had a great party and the little girls seemed to have a lot of fun. And, my mom as the Fairy Godmother worked out fantastically. Here's a couple of pictures.

Finally caught up.

Looks like I have a serving of crow coming to me. Congrats to the Tigers for an excellent series. They truly deserved to win, since they clearly wanted it more than my Yankees.

At least there is still one NY team still in it :cool1:

How adorable! I just don't understand why my 14 year old doesn't want princess parties anymore. princess:

However, my 14 year old just walked by, informed me to get off the internet, it's "HER TURN" and I showed her my post and she said "But mom I want to go to the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique at Downtown Disney."

Sure......next trip!

Yup, I give Wicked :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2. It was the last show of the Summer Musicals season last year and it's going to be the first show of the season next year. I can't wait to see it again - Row 12 aisle seats in the center Orchestra section!

Speaking of musicals, has anyone seen Dirty Rotten Scoundrels? We're seeing that on Wednesday, the last show of this season. I'm not even sure what it's about, but they always bring in a good one for the fair. (Next year's season closer is going to be The Lion King again.)

We just got back from DRS. It was good, but a little risque in parts. We are on the aisle in row 14 center orchestra the first Sunday of the run. Is Wednesday your normal day? We saw Wicked twice on Broadway last summer and then when it was here last fall. I can't wait to see it again next spring! Its in my top 3 now along with Phantom and Les Mis.

Hi everyone we just got back from Disney. WOW page 1420 my notes here say the last page I read was 1251. Guess i got some reading to do. I just wanted to give a quick review. DH and I checked into to the Yacht Club on tues. lovely room with a king bed. We did the F&W fest adults only until fri. I am sure I gain 5lb! We did the Chilean dinner on thur night and they drove us around the backstage area in a towncar to get to the dinner. Our son and grandparents joined us on fri. and we moved into a 2 bedroom at SSR. It was our son birthday and we had a Mickey cake from the Boardwalk bakery. Next we went to MNSSHP. What a birthday even the grandparents were impressed. :woohoo:

VERY COOL. DD says it's very crowded right now and the weather is great!
She'll be at Fantasmic tonight!

Ilene - what's in Rhinebeck this time of year? Leaf viewing or the airdrome? We lived just south of Rhinebeck in Wappingers Falls for many years, so we know the area well.

Sandy,
The NY sheep and wool festival. I'm a spinner, weaver and knitter so I need to stock up for the cold winter...ya right, DH thinks I should open a yarn store, I can just go shopping in my studio, LOL!

Amy,
The party looks terrific and like a good time was had by all. The girls all look adorable and pretty well behaved too...just like little princesses.
