Now you need to get Krystina and Walker together for a little egg eating contest. One eats the whites and the other eats the yolks! :rotfl:
Chris

That sounds like a plan!

Sorry about not posting very many times today.
We watched Illinois beat Michigan State and now watching Notre Dame whip Purdue!
Back to the games!

Squid

My 2 favorite college teams...I have always been a Notre Dame fan, and got on the Illini band wagon after a g/f of mine went there.

OK, so we made the trip to the Disney Store last night. The boys of the family each got new baseball caps ($4.99 each!). I found some really cute picture frames for $5.99 too. We were VERY disappointed with their adult t-shirt lack of collection. Not very much to choose from at all. I guess I'll just have to look for my new shirts in Flordida!

We also got a set of luggage that was on sale at JC Penney. It is a 5 piece set - 3 pieces with wheels. We figured we would spend the money for each of the boys to have their own suitcase instead of trying to ship items ahead of time. I hope this work and I hope the boys don't whine about have to take care of their own luggage!

Chris
I was at the Disney store outlet a few weeks ago, and bought some shirts for 2.99 for the girls and myself, shorts for the girls for 6.99, frames for 2.99...great deals all around...I will be in the area of the outlet mall tomorrow, and I think I may stop again and see what they have this time.

Ahhh yes, I know the study. HOWEVER ask ANY teacher about the day after halloween and that study is overruled!
I'm sure most teachers would want the day after halloween to be a holiday so they wouldnt have to deal with it

I have a question....I want to leave some bags at SSR on Saturday until we get back from the cruise and check into SSR...will they hold the bags until then? I dont want to take the girls MNSSHP costumes with me, and we are going to outlet mall shop on Saturday, and I dont want to carry that also.

You should be able to check them. Ask when you first check in. I think it would be much like when you are sending something down. They hold it for you.

Yes they do sell bottled water HOWEVER due to the way the ship makes drinking water out of salt water it really is good tasting. We have not found a need to schlep a case of water on board. I am sure they would let you bring it on board if you feel you need to.

SQuid

Is the price Disneyfied, like 2.25 per bottle?

Chris

Well I have the layout for the inside of the navigator just about done. Guys - what are you doing for Matt? Do you want something in the navigator? I need to know by tomorrow!

Thanks Mary

One word on the navigator. On chart is sorted in alpha order by DIS name. That means that where we have couples only one persons name is going to show in the sort column (all names will be in the other column). For example for our family it is under my name. Just want everyone to know so when they see it they don't have any hard feelings.

The trivia game sounds like fun.

Kids and eating....I work for WIC (women, infants and children)...you wouldn't believe what I see that passes for breakfast. No really most mothers TRY to provide a decent meal but it's the definition of "decent" that is so different from family to family and culture to culture.
In my house I was always the "bad" guy. When my kids were little..no sugar, no preservatives, no artificial flavors...my house was "clean" so to speak. So DH "saved" them with candy and such when I was away. Around 12 or so my DD said to me.."Mom, you really must have loved us because you didn't give us all the junk and make us fat, Dad did" :scared: YIKES what was I supposed to say to that!!!
Anyway fast forward and my house gradually became less "clean" and more relaxed. As soon as school birthday parties became a part of my kids routines I was less able to control what went in their mouths. As young adults I have one child with a gourmet palate that loves everything and lots of it, not so much candy though but pies(and is very heavy, ds 23yo) and one that is vegetarian, fights her genes constantly and throws half her dessert away or shares it, she loves candy though (dd 20yo, who you'll meet at WDW perhaps when she joins us after the cruise). HOWEVER BOTH my kids know how to read a label.

Whew, that was a LONG story with really no point!:rotfl2:

My brother was really picky as a kid. He now eats all kinds of food, thai, seafood, lots of veges. Definitely NO beef. He also love to do yoga. He lives on the west coast (can you tell?)

Not to worry Chris the posters will just come right out of the woodwork as we get a little closer.

Your not kidding and we are trying to make dinner!

We had a busy morning. Soccer game (DS team lost 1-0 but a good game). Then Home Depot and bought a screen door because our kitty kept escaping out of the house. DH put that up while I vacuumed and cleaned out the van. Then the boys helped us to plant some mums. Since we did all that, I figured I could afford some time on the DIS.

Chris

A little number crunching for you all.

We have 52 cabins accounted for right now (I think I have one or two in my in-box that still need to be added). They break down as follows:

3 DIS rooms on Deck 8

16 DIS rooms on Deck 7

21 DIS rooms on Deck 6

7 DIS rooms on Deck 5

5 DIS rooms on Deck 2

0 DIS rooms on Deck 1

Thanks for reminding me, I meant to ask this yesterday. I know this was discussed much earlier in the thread. How do we use the Rewards card on the cruise? If we want to use some of our rewards dollars for the cruise, do we transfer the rewards at cruise end or do we give them the card when we embark?

I believe you just use your rewards card like you would any other credit card. That is what we have done in the past. I think you can only use it at Disney places.

My sister is a big water drinker so we always end up buying the water package. A 24 pack of Evain for $30 that is delivered to your stateroom. I tend to buy the cooler bag and 6 bottles of water that is available onboard on port days for excursions. I think I paid around $15 and then I have the cooler bag as a souvenier(sp). I'm a bag-a-holic.

Ahh good luck with that addiction thingy. Where do you store all of your bags?
Wall display?

OH good idea, get those reward dollars, I have to also.

When we paid off our first set of point, Kelly Jo - our DVC person, suggested we put the balance on the Disney Visa first, then pay it off. That way, we would earn our reward dollars for the pay off! HMMMM how to use the $$$.
I've never had a Konk Kooler but if Cindy's mentioning says anything, they ought to be yummy!
