Oh My :faint:

Walker also loves the yolk of hard boiled eggs. My BIL always says he's going to take him into a bar and have guys place bets on how many he'll eat. Loves, loves, loves them.

Nick always calls the yolk the CHEESE... eeww take the cheese out!

Anyhoo...a suggestion. Would anyone like to start contributing DVC trivia, sorta like a study group? Over the next couple weeks, everyone could submit any DVC trivia they know. I would then compile all the info into a "cheat sheet". Then, around Oct 14-15th, everyone could print it out and be ready to sweep all the prizes at the DVC trivia contest!

I'll volunteer to keep a running document of any DVC trivia info that anyone wants to send me. Anything you can think of, such as DVC resort opening dates, number of rooms per resort, resort name changes, themes, etc.
You can PM your info to me, or post it here on the thread (a good way to clock up more messages in search of the elusive 20,000 message goal).

Have a great weekend. I'll try to join the Sunday chat -- so if you have suggestions for the DVC trivia game, just let me know!
What a great idea! :thumbsup2 If nothing else, we'll have fun with the trivia. And boosting the post count doesn't hurt either. ;)

The 15 yr giclee print is being distributed with the new guidebook.

Not affiliated with the cruise at all.

Wow! Is everyone going to get one of these or only those that have done the DVC cruise in the past? I have been so motivated by the rooms others have posted pictures of that I am going to turn my upstairs tv room into a Disney room!

:thumbsup2 Very :cool1: Cool :thumbsup2

Many thanks to the obviously "in-the-know" Tag Fairy! ::yes:: The words are mine, but the color-job is courtesy of The TF! I feel so special now! And loved!

From my very own fingers: Count me in on Julie's party! :woohoo: (Ummmm, unless, of course, my Tigers manage to make it into the Fall Classic, and there's a game that night - then I'll be "where the boys are"... Sorry!, and no offense!!!)

Tried to get DBF to do a couples massage, but he didnt really want to do it...he was more interested in snorkeling...oh well maybe next time

We originally planned on getting a couples massage on the cruise but after I saw how much it cost I decided we could each go for 1 hour massages the day we leave and the day we get back. We have a masseuse here that we both LOVE her work. It will cost us the same amount for 2 massages each here at home as it would for 1 massage on the ship. Then we will have more time for other things!! :lovestruc :lovestruc

Thats a good idea...I will look into prices at home for massages and maybe we will do that before we leave

I say give the girls cake for breakfast. Can it really hurt? Is it THAT much different than a bowl of Trix or a poptart?

I find that if I do "crazy" stuff like that once in awhile, THAT is what the kids remember. "Remember the time Mom let us have cake for breakfast?" They are NOT going to grow up and say "Remember that mom always fed us a really nutritious, stick to our ribs breakfast?"

I agree Roxanne. We had a moment like that last week. We decided to go for a get ready for Disney walk around the block (1 mile). The clouds looked threatening but we decided to go anyway. I bet you already guessed it started pouring rain when we were 1/2 mile from our house. We didn't have much of a choice except to keep on walking. When we were about a quarter mile from our house a very nice neighbor picked us up in his brand new pickup truck and drove us home. I hope we didn't make it too wet. Don't you think my boys will always remember that walk?
There was a time we were taking the boat to DD at it poured rain on us. :rotfl2:
Memories, light the corners of my mind, misty water colored memories......
You know the rest.

Speaking of....Mike used to eat one of those Slimfast meal bars every morning for breakfast.....and then we started comparing the nutritional label to that of poptarts. Ya know, there really wasn't much of a difference!!!! Seriously. If memory serves me correctly, the poptart was a bit higher in sugars, but other than that they were pretty darn close.

And poptarts are cheaper! :) :lmao:

Thanks, you make me feel better about giving my kids poptarts! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Boy, it's been years since I've posted on DIS (Feb 2004 to be exact)! So I'm starting back at square one!

Welcome Back!
Wow - you sound like a die hard game player! My suggestion is to post the answers - that way you can't keep any of them for yourself! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Krystina loves the whites of hard boiled eggs, but hates the yolk :rotfl2:

DD (20yo) eats only the whites! Drives me nuts.

Now you need to get Krystina and Walker together for a little egg eating contest. One eats the whites and the other eats the yolks! :rotfl:
