who has time to post...by the time I finish reading all the new posts I have to turn off the computer because my eyes hurt. I don't think anyone in this bunch will be at aloss for words on the cruise. :rolleyes1

I know the feeling...I had 10+ pages to catch up on this morning...I'm still at it! :sunny:

Ilene...They are adorable...My girls would love them!

What if you only had one hour in any Disney park. What hour would you spend and what would you do?
MGM during Star Wars weekends where I had fastpasses to all the visiting stars for autographs pictures and a VIP pass for the Meet the stars program that Warwick Davis hosts. That might be a little over an hour though.
What if you only had one hour on Castaway Cay. How would you spend it?
It would be the hour before we had to be back on the ship and I’d be floating in the ocean as everyone else is on the ship already. I did it last year and it was so peaceful. Also, I talked to ******** (she who must not be named – doesn’t that just sound so much like Harry Potter?) as she was doing the same thing.
What if you had the opportunity to go to a Disney park you've never been to before. Which one would you choose?
Disneyland Paris as there are a few attractions I’d like to see that are different than the ones here in the US.
What if you were given an unlimited fast pass but you could only use it in one park. Which park would you choose?
Epcot for Soarin and Test Track like what Mary described. Test Track might be the hardest fast pass to get and Soarin is right up there.
What if you were given 100 DVC points to any DVC property free of charge (you would have to pay dues). Which property would you pick and why?
Contemporary Villas – The resort is going to be spectacular. Bay Lake AND Seven Seas Lagoon and the Sammy Duvall marina, Monorail access, California Grill, Chef Mickey’s, Concourse Steakhouse, views of Cinderella Castle from your room, walking access to MK and the best game room in WDW. (Honorable mention would be Polynesian when it comes in about 5-7 years).

If you couldn't get on last night it was the boards not you. Here is a message Alex put up on the CB:

Why the boards were down
Our host NTT/Verio lost power. Then the generators had problems..then the UPS's didn't work...

I, for one, am happy to see the boards back up!

Me 2!!! I thought it was my connection...but I was able to access other websites, so I knew it wasnt me! Glad its all back to normal!

Tonight is Friday night so that means cruise chat. Who is up for going in early in a private room like last week?

I know that many of you like the private room because it doesn't move as fast as the main room and we can talk about this cruise in particular.

If enough people want to I suggest showing up at 8:30 Eastern/7:30 Central in either room 1 or 2 (I'll post what room here on the thread once we are in it).

If there isn't much interest I'll head to the main room. Karen won't be in chat tonight and I'll watch the main room, but only if you guys don't want to get together.
Sorry Mary...I won't be there tonight...A friend is in from TX and we are all taking her out for dinner and :drinking1 ...I feel a late night coming on!

Hi all. Just back from the 11 night on the Wonder and it was awesome. Now at WDW till Sunday.

The changes in dry dock are going to be awesome. Can't wait to get back on in 3 weeks!

Talked to Ducky the last night of the cruise. He said we are NOT getting a litho on the member cruise. He does have something special that DVC had him too, and he said this is not something for our "wall" to hang. Wouldn't tell me anything else except that he was thrilled with the outcome and loved creating this new "gift" for us!

See everyone soon. Once I get back to work next week, I'll start checking the member thread.

Welcome Back and Thanks for the update!

I had a problem with my internet today too. We didn't have a connection so I called AT&T and it took forever to talk to a live person. I hate that. After being on the phone for about 40 min she checked our line and told me there was a problem. NO KIDDING THATS WHAT I AM CALLING ABOUT :badpc: She transferred me to someone that would put in a work order. That took about 10 min on hold to talk to someone else. He finally told me that he thinks our lines are crossed and will send someone out this afternoon. Well no one has been here yet but it just started working. It was really hard doing school without the internet but we managed.

Let's do a series of "what ifs" this time.

What if you only had one hour in any Disney park. What hour would you spend and what would you do? MK...And the wishes fireworks, and dumbo ride...those are my all time 2 favorites

What if you only had one hour on Castaway Cay. How would you spend it?Not sure never been there

What if you had the opportunity to go to a Disney park you've never been to before. Which one would you choose? Disneyland...its where all the magic started

What if you were given an unlimited fast pass but you could only use it in one park. Which park would you choose? Magic Kingdom...Its my favorite park

What if you were given 100 DVC points to any DVC property free of charge (you would have to pay dues). Which property would you pick and why? BWV... I love the resort

I hate those 4 hour windows they give you!!! Just tell me a time so I dont waste my whole day waiting on someone whos is probably going to be late...

What if you only had one hour in any Disney park. What hour would you spend and what would you do?
?I would go to Epcot and do Soarin, Spaceship Earth and Test Track.
What if you only had one hour on Castaway Cay. How would you spend it? Eating lunch at Cookies BBQ

What if you had the opportunity to go to a Disney park you've never been to before. Which one would you choose? California Adventure , although I have been to Disneyland it has been 30 years and the overseas ones dont interest me

What if you were given an unlimited fast pass but you could only use it in one park. Which park would you choose? While epcot is tempting I would have to say MK as there are usually longer lines there.

What if you were given 100 DVC points to any DVC property free of charge (you would have to pay dues). Which property would you pick and why?Wilderness Lodge Villas without a doubt We both love it but didnt buy points there YET!

Maybe what we need going into the weekend is another GTKYKFC :)

Let's do a series of "what ifs" this time.

What if you only had one hour in any Disney park. What hour would you spend and what would you do? MK - It's A Small World After All!

What if you only had one hour on Castaway Cay. How would you spend it? Sitting at the Bar looking out at the Ocean!

What if you had the opportunity to go to a Disney park you've never been to before. Which one would you choose? DLP ~ which actually I'm trying to decide whether to go to or not prior to the Repo Cruise next August!

What if you were given an unlimited fast pass but you could only use it in one park. Which park would you choose? MK, the I could do It's a Small World and Haunted Mansion!

What if you were given 100 DVC points to any DVC property free of charge (you would have to pay dues). Which property would you pick and why? Contemporary ~ That would be used for those quick trips so that I could be close to MK!

Oh, no Litho, HM now the puts a crimp on where I'm putting everything up! Back to the Drawing Board! At this rate won't get any of my Disney Stuff back on the Walls! :lmao: :lmao:

I guess now I'll have to make room on one of my shelves! ;) Wonder if it's a mini of the statue that they are going to give out when you buy extra points on board? :rolleyes1

doing my part here this am for 20,000!

OK so now you know you've all put a serious dent in my wallet with all this scrapping stuff, right :rotfl2:

I'm in the process of making one of those boxes that Diana Lyn shared with us. I think I came up with a good idea. I'm calling it my Disney song box. It is themed Under the Sea (not very original but...) So inside I made a mistake and made the wrong kind of flaps (they give you two kinds in the directions), mine are not pockets because I cut too fast, LOL. So they are just flaps and I was trying to think what to do with them. So I'm going to treat each flap as a small scrapbook page. Each page will have a piece of the chorus (and maybe some of the song don't know how much will fit yet) to Under the Sea and a picture to go along with it. You will "read" it by turning the box around and around with the flaps laid open. I will take the lyrics with me on the cruise to see if I can capture a picture that will fit the lyric for a particular flap. Just an idea that came to me while I SLEPT, DO YOU SEE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME!!!!
Great idea Ilene. You'll definitely have to share with us when you're done!
