Congrats for all those with new tags!

I am excited about not having a formal night, that's one set of clothes I don't have to pack. That leaves more room for my Disney gifts from the cruise!

Mary, thanks for the link to the thank you cards. I edited them to add DM and my names, city and DVC Member Cruise, October 2006. They came out great. I had some matte photo paper and the colors really pop!

Is anyone going to MNSSHP before the cruise? I would like to have the t-shirt from the party to wear to the party. We are going on the 26th which seems to be when most people are going.

We are spending the afternoon at DTD after we get off the boat to do some shopping, then dinner at Capn. Jacks, then MNSSHP.

We are going on the 20th.

Chris

23 days left. 1283 posts to go. We only need 55 posts per day. Maybe our new goal should be 21,000!

Or in Cindy's case answering the door as the little ones check in for the day.
Shucks - Forgot about Cindy, I was gonna add her in there with the getting to work crowd. Sorry Cin, back to the lifeboat.

I'd pick 8:45-9:45 in Epcot. I'd find a nice place to watch Illuminations with Mark. We love it and a trip to WDW just wouldn't be the same without it.
WDWLVR said:
You could have picked it. We all could have spent the hour together!

Ok we'll all go to Illuminations - Jeff likes it to. That Tapestry of Dreams music is the best.. I still need to find it without the voiceovers asking for the "Dream Seekers" I vote for over the bridge in Italy (near the palos) depending on the wind.

Just curious if anyone else is staying on board after the DVC cruise for another go-round or is it just us? We just couldn't pass up the opportunity for CC 3x in one week. :cool1:

:tigger:

I know someone else will have already said something along these lines, I plan on staying on board until they drag me kicking and screaming down the gangplank. :rotfl:

See everyone soon. Once I get back to work next week, I'll start checking the member thread.

OH MY GOODNESSS!!! I didn't even REALIZE you were going to be on this cruise. Where, oh, where have you been hiding yourself? Wow, you're really going to have to cram in a lot of reading time to catch up! There are 18,000+ posts to catch up on in order to get up to speed!!!!! :lmao: :lmao:

So I take it you aren't doing the scrapbook class this time???? :confused3 :lmao: :lmao:

Aww, I was hoping for a new Litho. I guess we'll see what Ducky put together for us in 3 weeks!:cool1:

Me too, but with the one that's supposedly in the mail, my walls aren't going to have any more room, so I'm hoping for something different and unique!! I'm sure if Ducky had his hands in it, it's going to be beautiful!

We were there the week before wilma then 2 days at VB and returned to WDW in time to spend the Wilma morning in our room and then went to Epcot in the afternoon. LOTS of space available :teeth: All in all Wilma didnt affect us too bad.

Squid

We were there during Wilma too! We went to EPCOT that night - extra late!
The kids got caught up on their homework that day.

Curt--I'm not a workers or a west coaster, but this is the time I'm at the gym. I'm still not feeling up to par so it's day before Julia's birthday errands running for me!

Before I leave, I'll play!

Let's do a series of "what ifs" this time.

What if you only had one hour in any Disney park. What hour would you spend and what would you do? MK--Spectro and Wishes. I'm a teary eyed sobbing mess for both. OK, that maybe more than an hour but if I time it right and show up at the right spot at the MK to catch the tail end of Spectro, I can catch wishes.

What if you only had one hour on Castaway Cay. How would you spend it? On the family beach playing in the sand.

What if you had the opportunity to go to a Disney park you've never been to before. Which one would you choose? Toyko Disney Sea. Everything I've read about it sounds amazing.

What if you were given an unlimited fast pass but you could only use it in one park. Which park would you choose? MK I like the classic rides best.

What if you were given 100 DVC points to any DVC property free of charge (you would have to pay dues). Which property would you pick and why? Since we're playing "what if" I pick AKL because that was the resort where we stayed for our wedding/honeymoon trip and it's an awesome place!

That must've been the same costume I picked out for Karen. Alas, REJECTED of course. In her defense though she did get a cool costume, just less uhm "translucent?"

Well we tried them on last night. Of course the female costume fit my wife. Anything will fit my wife. It's not fair. Mine was supposedly a plus size, but if I wore those pants on the cruise, they'd haul me into the brig for exposure. There's a Halloween store in our local mall I'm going to check out this weekend.

Diana,

In which shop did you get the car thingies that are in your sig? Karen and I saw them at MGM but they were out of the wife one... I want to get her a set with GUY, GAL and three cats.

My wife just walked in from a stop at Party City. She found a man's and women's pirate costumes that are perfect for pirate night. The woman's costume matches the man's. She said there was another woman's costume, but in her words, she wasn't walking out in that.

We may be twins. We also got our garb at Party City last week. I saw that other costume too - on a street corner in Atlantic City! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Chris

PS I bought the fishnets. We'll see, maybe in the cabin.

You know I'm just gonna delete that post - I forgot all the fun, frequent posters and Amy's not here either. Prob over at Ariel's Grotto w/the girls.

POINT!! GOMETROS

Problem is though, how do YOU know that corner???

What if you only had one hour in any Disney park. What hour would you spend and what would you do? How many times can I ride Haunted Mansion in an hour?

What if you only had one hour on Castaway Cay. How would you spend it?On a hammock on Serenity Beach

What if you had the opportunity to go to a Disney park you've never been to before. Which one would you choose? I'll echo whomever said Tokyo Disneyland

What if you were given an unlimited fast pass but you could only use it in one park. Which park would you choose? Magic Kingdom, so that I could go back and forthe between the Mountains

What if you were given 100 DVC points to any DVC property free of charge (you would have to pay dues). Which property would you pick and why? I'd use it at Boardwalk Villas. We already have 50 points there, which isn't enough to book any decent vacation 11 months in advance

I think this would be a great question too. Where is your favorite place to watch Illuminations and/or Wishes.
We like to stand across from the Funnel Cake store near the American Adventure. It is neat to watch the globe move out from there.
Wishes, in front of Cindy's castle.
