Gail, where did you order from? We still have 2 weeks here. ;)

We ordered them through www.buycostumes.com

Use the code 5alive for a 5% discount on a $40 + order.

Right now (exp 10/12)they are having $.99 shipping on orders over $30. Not sure if you can get both, but put in the 5alive code and see if it works with the .99 shipping.

We survived Cameron's party. :crazy2:

It was certainly an eye opening experience. :rolleyes1

5 boys and myself. We started with lunch which cost me almost $140 -- they had a special which included a $10 game card with each meal. The sad thing was that most of the meals went right into the garbage. One of the boys left an entire cheeseburger, untouched except for the huge glob of ketchup he put all over it -- he said his mother fed him lunch before he came. :sad2: Another boy ordered a shrimp platter and didn't eat anything but a couple of french fries. :sad2: Another boy ate about 1/2 of his cheeseburger but managed to drink down several sodas. :sad2: Another ate a couple of bites of chicken fingers. :sad2: Cameron & I were hungry so we finished the burger Cameron had and the salad I had. It still was hard to swallow the bill in the end, knowing that it went right in the garbage. Then the waiter asked if anyone wanted dessert and a couple of boys moaned and groaned when I said we were going to pass. :headache:

They did enjoy the games -- but again, one of the boys went through his $10 game card in about 2 minutes. :confused3 I guess when your 10, there isn't any thought into making it last, although the other boys didn't have a problem.

I recharged each card for another $10. Cameron had a great time, which is what I have to focus on. I also know this is the last birthday party he's having. Last year we went to WDW for the long weekend, I'm wishing we did the same this weekend.

A couple boys in the group were loud and obnoxious. No matter how many times I asked them to respect the others in the restaurant or to lower their voices or to stay in their seats, they continued to act like little morons. I'm so glad that Cameron is not like that -- if I ever hear that he acts like that with a group of friends, we're going to have a long discussion.

One of the boys was invited to sleep over tonight -- Cameron's choice, thankfully (I really should thank him for that decision ;) ). Then all of the sudden driving home, it turns out that all the boys are thinking they are going home to pack their gear and head back over. Nicely, but firmly, i squashed that idea rather quickly -- as I'm not prepared to have several boys sleep over tonight. Or at least that was my excuse.

Cameron just asked if we could go see Open Season. I'm not sure if I have it in me anymore tonight -- I can just see me sleeping through the entire thing. Maybe I'm just use to little kids -- like my daycare who cooperate and have nice manners in public.

I haven't decided if we're going off to the show tonight or not. But, if the other boys decide to take it upon themselves to show up at the door for a sleepover, you can bet we'll be out the door in a flash. :)

I'm so Excited!

Thanks to a fellow Dis'r who unfortunately had to cancel out on the Med Repo but was kind enough to contact me to see if I wanted her cabin!?!

Well it looks like a done deal!

The only reason why I booked was to get a Murphey Bed in the Living Room for DD but wasn't lucky enough, until now to get one!

Now I can go off tonight to see WICKED!

j

I hope you enjoy WICKED! I've heard really good things about it.

You better -- because I remember you from the last member cruise. And, I hope I don't have to point you out to the crowd. :)

Thanks for remembering me. I'll do my best so I don't get pointed at.

AnnMarie,
I was out in your neck of the woods today, Derby shops area. I was going to run into the apple store and jump on email to see if you were around to visit but I was too tired :-( and figured you were probably out as well. I'll have to plan better next time.

Wow! We almost went to Bertucci's at the Derby Shops for lunch but decided to go to Dedham to DSW instead. Can't wait to meet you!

J, Your going to see Wicked? You are soooo lucky! Sold out too fast here, and now my dd is going to see it in London in December. I'm going to see it sometime, the book was very good.

Hey guys, my glicee came today. They spent a pretty penny sending those babies out. I can't wait to put it up....but WHERE!

Glad you received yours today. We got ours on Monday or Tuesday.

Yowza!
Did thos parents who fed there kid not know you were going out to eat? :confused3 Heck usually when we have taken any of Nick's friends out for a meal the kids have scarfed down their meal before Jeff or I are finished and Nick's starts looking at the dessert menu.

Well just as long as Cameron was happy that's what counts. The things we suffer thru for our kids!

Finally caught up. We got our docs last night. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: I can't believe that in two weeks from now we will be at Fantasmic. :goodvibes

The girls have their first real meet tomorrow. We have to be up at 5 AM to get there on time. I think I am going to be very tired tomorrow. Should be fun for them once they are really awake. I spent two hours today cleaning the inside of my car. I have no idea what was under the girls seats but it was really gross. :confused3

My son and his dad are at the game - don't expect to see them any time soon - that was great to watch and nail-biting at the same time!!! :cheer2:

Yes it is!!! And my son just moved back to Michigan after living in NC for a few years - what a year to pick to come back!
Doing the happy dance here!

Cindy,
WOW! What a crazy day for you!
I so don't enjoy hanging out with kids who are rude and disrepectful. You did good....I mighta cracked their skulls together! :lmao: There was one girl we went out with a couple times who said NOTHING nice TO or ABOUT her mother. It's like her dad and she had teamed up on mom. It was really sad. Thing is, mom didn't say a thing. I think that was the norm. :( :(

I DO like those opportunities though to talk to the kids about good vs. bad behavior. "Did you see how that girl spoke with to her mother?"

Crazy about the food. Mine are such little eaters I'm always sure to remind them to order off the kids menu if they go out with someone (usually grandma and grandpa) or to SHARE if they aren't that hungry.

You need a relaxing night. Stay home. Pop in a movie. Let the boys play Playstation. You kick your feet up. No need to do more running and more $$$-ing. :)
