I was reading about a quilt someone did for their cruise. Would you all mind signing a square of fabric? I might make me a quilt with all of us on it! It's a great way to remember all of the friends I've come to love!

Two weeks from today we will already have begun our trip down and will be in Lorton, VA waiting to baord the auto train

Two weeks from about now we should be getting to O'Hare for our flight down.

Mary - that is wonderful! Honestly I can tie one - albiet not as good as Dad or my BIL (he's in hospitality and wears one daily) but for some reason I can't get it to loosen up and then onto Matt's head.

Julie, are you making a noose?

Absolutely! what a neat idea.

I'm not a sewing person (sewer? that looks like sewer? that can't be right!) and it's a little late to come up with this idea--but it would have been cool for whoever wanted to participate to bring a square for each person participating, kinda like a scrapbooking swap. Then each person would have the same X amount of squares, designed by each individual person.

Always a day late and a dollar short.....

I think the girls have a baseball bat--my mailman should be here in the next hour--I'll be outside ready to make some threats to him if he doesn't have my giclee!

Also looking forward to pirate night! We had a GREAT time in January, our table of 18 (yeah, that's another story!!! That group was as fun as this one!!!!) got together here on our cruise meet and we were all dressed for the evening. A most excellent time was had by all. Those of you who are wavering in packing another suitcase (or steamer trunk in our case!) for those extra costumes... DO IT!!!!!

Now I have a question, Michael. This is the second time I've seen you refer to a table of 18 on your last cruise. I tried to get several big tables for our DIS group and was told that I had to break us down into the pre-specified seating that DCL allows. So, we have tables of 8, tables of 6 & tables of 4's.

Do you have any idea how you were able to get a table of 18? Not that I'm going to even attempt to change what has already been submitted, but I am taking notes for next cruise.

Funny you say that... I had my camera in the truck with me. Ya know it's one thing to go with your buddies and snap some photos, but when a guy goes by himself and takes pictures... well, that might seem a little creepy to some.

Chris the quilt idea is great! I would bring some squares along and have the (paid) characters sign them as well.
