We are dressing up for Pirate's night. I wasn't planning on it, but John wanted to. Last cruise we stayed in our Pirate clothes for the entire evening. The word must be getting out (at least on the DIS), because on the 11 Night there were quite a few dressed up.

It's not he wanted to... it was more like she wanted to (but needed a loving nudge from DH to help decide)

One small correction. Hollywood will be on the cruise staff for the Member Cruise but I don't think he's the DJ. We are going to make him a button however since he loved the one we gave him from the double scoop troupe.

Hollywood will also be present during the DVC member celebrations because during the 11 night he worked with Mike and Emil and George from DVC to put together the two member celebrations that will happen in the Walt Disney Theater. They will split us up in two and have two different celebrations. We will receive invitations in our staterooms advising us of the time we are to attend. They will be during our "sea day".

Also Brent (cruise director) will be on vacation. Christian will be our cruise director for the member cruise.

Now I have a question, Michael. This is the second time I've seen you refer to a table of 18 on your last cruise. I tried to get several big tables for our DIS group and was told that I had to break us down into the pre-specified seating that DCL allows. So, we have tables of 8, tables of 6 & tables of 4's.

Do you have any idea how you were able to get a table of 18? Not that I'm going to even attempt to change what has already been submitted, but I am taking notes for next cruise.

The largest table is one table for 14 in each dining room. If tables ended up at 18 it is because someone talked their server and/or dining room manager in to putting them together once they were on the ship.

All I'm thinking is that if I don't get them today, I won't get them til Tuesday because Monday is a holiday! Do you know how far away Tuesday is?!?!?!

Generally, UPS delivers on Columbus Day and such... so maybe I will get my docs on Monday - but since the picture is coming via USPS that wont come.

Actually, one of the members of our cruise meet had volunteered to get us seated together if possible and linked our dining reservations with DCL. We all assumed that we would be on 2 separate tables but near each other. When we got to our table the first evening we were all sort of shocked that they had put 2 large tables together and there we all were. I will say that is was a bit crowded and it did make it difficult at times for JoJo and Sean to get us all taken care of. They really did a great job though.
