Got our docs today...YEAH! :cheer2:

One thing....it has the standard page with the tipping chart.....

But I though that tipping was included.....is it included and they just have the standard page, or did I miss something?

We could be really annoying like I've seen in some thread where they just post one word per post. :sad2:

Imagine how many posts we could eat up doing just that.

Okay, on second thought, 3rd place is good!!

Does it only count for posts pre-cruise or do post cruise count as well?

Please no one-word posts - those are very annoying!

Yes, it has been confirmed tips are included.

It's the standard 4-day booklet. I'd be willing to bet, sight unseen, it probably talks about Nassau, which we're not going to either.

Member Gallery Update!

Linda (seaulater) has sent in her info. She'll be sailing with her mom, Nancy and her sister Debbie. Thier info is now listed in the gallery on the web site. Unfortunately they missed the cut-off for the navigator so if you want their info please write it down now.
THANKS MARY! We are right across the hall from our cruising buddies, Georgie and Joe and we are in 6067.

My sister Debbie, as of yesterday is questionable. She is having heart problems and the doctors are doing tons of tests to find out the problem. She has been to the ER twice in the last week by ambulance when her husband couldn't find a pulse on her. Please send pixie dust her way. This was to be her first cruise ever. More test results will be back this Friday.

So, to say the least, it's been a little bit hectic since we returned from the 11 day on Sunday night and trying to unpack and get everything in order.

Just in case it hasn't been mentioned - the docs are not as big as they used to be and you have to print out your online docs to bring with you - they aren't in the envelope. I can really get to packing now since I have my docs in hand now!!! :cheer2: :moped:

What online docs?

Let me try one more time. Is there anyone out there who has dined at Palo? :stir: How many people did you have? :confused3 How much did you tip?

Having just got off the 11 Night, here's the information we received from a reliable cast member on how Palo's works with the cover charge.

Of the $10 per person that is paid to go to Palo's (we did brunch) $9 goes directly to Palo's for the additional food costs. Only $1 goes to your server.

So, for our brunch for the two of us, we paid $20 for Palo's and then we tipped our server an additional $20 for the excellent service. He would have ended up getting $22 and Palo's $18. Now, there were 14 of us in the dining room and each paid their own bill, but my thoughts is that everyone at the table paid about $10 each on top of the Palo's charge for the server.

Remember, the servers in Palo's are relying on these tips solely during our cruises as that is where they are continually working.

Hope that helps!

Funny, I never noticed that online checkin tab before :confused3

It's a recently new feature they added, it is also how you can book excursions online before sailing. :)

do we need to fill out both the online docs and the docs received vis UPS???

Only the parts not included in the online form, namely the Bahamas immigration form. They still send some of the docs by default, online done or not.

If you have filled out and printed out the online docs than the only thing you need to fill out from the packet is the bahamas forms.

I'm getting senile in my old age. I had filled out everything except printing the contract signature page back in July :rolleyes1

Well I tried to call Mark both at work and on his cell. We got out docs!!!!!!!

The package is very small and includes a letter thanking us for filling out our docs online.

I haven't filled out anything yet. ( I hate IE.)

Then just fill out the ones you got in the mail.
