I know - I have to start updating my spreadsheet and start working on my packing lists!

Packing list, nothing. :faint:

We need to work on packing and figuring out just how to squeeze it in. This Saturday is out as we have things going most of the day. I'm thinking maybe on Sunday, between soccer games and popcorn sales we can get started. Most of the summer items can be packed as I'm thinking we are done with the short weather around here.

And, I still need to finish MaryJ's circle journal.

It will get done. It's just leading up to it that's kind of :crazy2:

If the straight jacket fits (mine is a 48 medium).....

Thanks to all for kind words on the game... errr I did come up with a frame for Round 2 while having dinner at the Columbia Harbor House -- if anyone is interested? Unfortunately this would only be for fun and to get people wound up for the sailing. Give me some yesses and I'll have it up as soon as possible... whatta say -- Anybody game?

I'm ready when you are!:bored:

That's what I was thinking, how many of those little burgers could I eat?

I wonder how long it took them to prepare them? Definately a lot of work. I know I would not have the patience to do that -- it did look awesome though. Much better than fast food we usually get.

In honor of Monday how about another round of GTKYKFC

1) We sail in 27 days, but when do you actually leave and what else do you have planned?

2) What is the one thing you are looking forward to most about SSMC06?

3) If there was to be a SSMC07 and it was in the same time frame and same type of cruise (4 day) would you book it?

4) If there was a be a SSMC07 and if you could determine when it would be and what type of cruise what would it be?

5) For 07 instead of a cruise would you rather see some type of land-based event? If so, what?

1) We sail in 27 days, but when do you actually leave and what else do you have planned? We leave on Friday the 20th

2) What is the one thing you are looking forward to most about SSMC06? Gifts!!!! Oh, and of course meeting all of you!:goodvibes

3) If there was to be a SSMC07 and it was in the same time frame and same type of cruise (4 day) would you book it? This is our first Member Cruise, but I would say YES! Seems like you all have had such good times on the last member cruises and they have never fit our schedule before. Really looking forward to this cruise.

4) If there was a be a SSMC07 and if you could determine when it would be and what type of cruise what would it be? I would like it when school was out and maybe a 7 day.

5) For 07 instead of a cruise would you rather see some type of land-based event? If so, what? I love cruising! Plus, I think you end up doing more events when you are a captive audience.

In honor of Monday how about another round of GTKYKFC

1) We sail in 27 days, but when do you actually leave and what else do you have planned? 24 days! We leave the morning of Thursday October 19th and should be getting into Disney sometime early evening on Friday the 20th.

2) What is the one thing you are looking forward to most about SSMC06? The people! Meeting up with all the friends we've made at other Member events but also meeting all the new people from the thread. Our fellow DISers are what makes these events special to us.

3) If there was to be a SSMC07 and it was in the same time frame and same type of cruise (4 day) would you book it? Most likely - we've loved all the others! :)

4) If there was a be a SSMC07 and if you could determine when it would be and what type of cruise what would it be? I would love to see a 7 day Member Cruise! Maybe one with two stops at CC :)

5) For 07 instead of a cruise would you rather see some type of land-based event? If so, what? Definately if they could pull it off. We loved some aspects of Member Homecoming and didn't care for some others. There are some people who just don't care for cruising so it would be nice to see them switch it up a bit.

1) We sail in 27 days, but when do you actually leave and what else do you have planned?27 days! My DD's homecoming dance is the night before so I can't leave until Sunday morning. We have a 6:45 am flight out of DFW arriving in Orlando at 10 am.

2) What is the one thing you are looking forward to most about SSMC06? Meeting people and having time with my DM.

3) If there was to be a SSMC07 and it was in the same time frame and same type of cruise (4 day) would you book it? Yes!

4) If there was a be a SSMC07 and if you could determine when it would be and what type of cruise what would it be? I would leave it where it is, but make it a 7 day cruise and include more ports.

5) For 07 instead of a cruise would you rather see some type of land-based event? If so, what? I didn't get to do the Member Homecoming, but would definitely do it if the dates were right. One of the new adventure vacations would be nice also, pehaps Hawaii!

1) We sail in 27 days, but when do you actually leave and what else do you have planned?
We're leaving on the 21st, heading over in the morning. Our plan is to check-in and head to Stormalong Bay for the day. Then, hopefully, our room will be ready before 3pm, so we can get a shower and the girls a nap before the DIS meet. Then, just dinner and maybe a quick trip over to EPCOT to see Illuminations and to bed to get a good nights sleep.
2) What is the one thing you are looking forward to most about SSMC06?
Meeting everyone from the DIS group. Sure, the cruise is awesome, I know that it will be, but the friends that I've made here will make the cruise a week to remember.
3) If there was to be a SSMC07 and it was in the same time frame and same type of cruise (4 day) would you book it?
YEP!!! I would not want to miss it!!!
4) If there was a be a SSMC07 and if you could determine when it would be and what type of cruise what would it be?
I really would love a 7-night DVC cruise, and as far as timing, it doesn't really matter to me, because next year Emily will only be in Kindergarten and Madison will be in preschool.
5) For 07 instead of a cruise would you rather see some type of land-based event? If so, what?
I don't mind a land-based event, but I really like the cruises.

What is the latest update on the Fitness Center on the Wonder? Will it be open for the Member Cruise?
I don't know that we've heard anything yet on the fitness center.

Speaking of, does anyone know if there is a gym at SSR?
Nevermind, I found the answer on the website!!

1) We sail in 27 days, but when do you actually leave and what else do you have planned? We arrive in Orlando Friday night, 10/20.

2) What is the one thing you are looking forward to most about SSMC06? Gosh, can I just say everything :teeth:

3) If there was to be a SSMC07 and it was in the same time frame and same type of cruise (4 day) would you book it? I'm thinking not as jr. high is on the horizon for Cameron.

4) If there was a be a SSMC07 and if you could determine when it would be and what type of cruise what would it be? Early June works for us. The kids will be out of school or close to being out of school where most grades are already accounted for by then. I'd love to do a 7 day cruise.

5) For 07 instead of a cruise would you rather see some type of land-based event? If so, what? My family has wonderful memories of Member Homecoming. I know not everyone had a great time during it (it was SO hot) but we enjoyed it a lot. I will always treasure the night at the MK when the parks were so empty. I remember the excitement my kids felt when we got to the end of the ride and they could stay on, as there was no line. Walker & I rode Peter Pan non-stop for what seemed like an eternity as did Cameron & Walker on BTMRR.

Anyone plan on doing some morning walks while on the ship? I have a feeling I'm going to need to!:drinking1 :drinking1:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1

I want to. I've walked deck 4 in the morning before and enjoyed it. I'm just bad at scheduling it. Our group on the 10 day had a morning meet-up for walking and I never made it. :guilty:

I was thinking about boxing up things like my pirate costumes, shoes and swim gear and shipping it down in advance (then shipping it home too). Has anyone tried this before? I have no idea how much it would cost, but I'm thinking of saving our backs on travel days. Any thoughts?

1) We sail in 27 days, but when do you actually leave and what else do you have planned? We leave in 24 Days!!! Yeah Oct 19th
2) What is the one thing you are looking forward to most about SSMC06?
A litte time to relax!
3) If there was to be a SSMC07 and it was in the same time frame and same type of cruise (4 day) would you book it?
Probably not, we have plans to meet friends early 08 in the World, it would be too cost restrictive.
4) If there was a be a SSMC07 and if you could determine when it would be and what type of cruise what would it be? See above

5) For 07 instead of a cruise would you rather see some type of land-based event? If so, what?
We went to the Member Homecoming and thought it was great! We would love to see another land based event that wasn't so cost prohibitive!
