Gotta get back to school and finish my work. I came home for lunch and to give my eyes a break from the lousy school computer screen. Took 4 Motrin and now I am off.

I will check back later to see how the voting went.

My vote is #2 APPT

Sunday Animators DVC Birthday Celebration
Monday Parrot Cay DVC Pirates night
Tuesday Parrot Cay
Wednesday Tritons Nice Way to end the cruise!

The dinner is @ 5:45 (right in the middle)

Roxann has a good point about Tritons being a nice way to end---but I wouldn't DREAM about voting twice--you guys will make me walk the plank!! pirate: :lmao:

Important Dining Poll:

For anyone who may not go back and read previous pages.

For those of us who have decided to link with others from this thread for dining, I'm going to take a poll as to what rotation you would prefer so that I can note that to DCL.

Here are the options:

1. Triton's 5:30 This would be TAAP
2. Animator's 5:45 This would be APPT
3. Parrot Cay 6:00 This would be PTTA

4. I don't have a preference

If you could please post your preference here, I will pick up the results.

I don't want any hard feelings, so whichever rotation has the most votes is what I'm going to request.

Keep in mind this does not mean we will get this rotation, it's only a request.

Thanks.

I vote for #3

I am so tired of this rain. I've been in the house all week with the daycare kids, as Cameron's been home sick and I'm not comfortable leaving him alone. Today my kids have a 1/2 of school, so they'll be home for the afternoon.

Rainy, whiny, and cooped in the house. It's going to be a long day.

Maybe I should look for that beer  ;)
Sorry you're getting more rain and are stuck inside. You should come down here, it's beautiful and :sunny: but not too hot. The my car says it a wonderful 78 outside right now.

Thanks for the invite. We'll head down when naptime is over.

We'd fit right in with Ian.

I have 2-2 year olds and 2-23 month olds who will both turn 2 on 10/10. Oh, and a 5 month old.

Is that a problem. :lmao:

Hello Cruise Mates! I can't believe I'm writing this, but we have a new baby to bring on board! He made the cut off by 2 days(being 12 weeks). We adopted him 2 weeks and are just now getting settled! lol
The caseworker that did our homestudy for NJ will be here today to start the papers for finalization! :goodvibes (takes a bout 6 months-3 visits).
He is so beautiful and I can't believe we have him in our arms for good!
His name is Nathaniel. He will be 7 weeks old this Friday. When we were placed with him he was 8 pounds and now just shy of 11 pounds! :rotfl:
Of course now i have 101 questions about traveling with a newborn! Are the pack a play cribs they will give us will be clean? How many sheets should I bring? How terrable expensive his bottled water on board to make formula. I'm actually thinking of getting the liquid just for the cruise so not have to worry about mixing. We will be at the parks for 4 days prior to sailing, so i would use poweder for then though.
Omg! My head is spinning. I'm usually a organized person and I'm starting to panic that I will forget something now, since this is the first time that I'm a mommy to a baby.
Okay gonna take a breather, and will be back hopefully sooner than later! lol

~Kerri
Congratulations and welcome Kerri. How very exciting for you.

I can't answer the question about PnP onboard since this will be our first trip with a child. As for the formula question, if you're renting a car while at WDW you could always make a grocery store run to pick up plenty of bottled water to avoid the cost on the ship.

Hi all, I have the best solution for our vote on Dining rotation... I'll let Robin decide ;) ;)

Kerry, Congrats!!!! I have a couple of suggestions, on the flight down... If at all possible Buy him a seat. (OK, I will not get on my soapbox about lap children). You should rent a car if staying at BC,SS,OKW, or BW. Parking is free for DVC, and riding the bus with an infant can be scary. Don't even think about Comando style at the parks... Plan on 3-4 attractions before going back to rest... As far as on the Ship, This will be our first experience with a Toddler. I would say to pre-reserve Flounders during the show (after the meal) and Monday Night (for the Pirate Party). We brought our mega stroller for the parks, but I think we will also bring a small umbrella stroller to use on the ship (Small Hallways).

I will let RRBB chime in with the rest.....

:figment:

PS, Cheryl, My Fingers are crossed, We hope you will be feeling better by the trip...

PPS, Julie...I checked with my CPA, He won't let me write the trip off if I deliver a ring to you in FL, so no pressure... ;););) BTW, My foot is still in this *********** boot, and I will hopefully be done with it tomorrow.

Hey, Question... Do I need to bring a jacket for Triton's?

:figment:

ROFL - I read that and thought, well yes, it is chilly in there :rotfl2: I'm betting that is not what you meant!

Not at all! I'm sure Ian would love the company when he wakes up. (He's asleep in the back seat right now. I didn't want to chance waking him like I did the other day so I brought the laptop w/wireless out to DIS.)

Oooh so do I need to send my future hubby your way??? :cool1: I will let him know!!!

Gary didn't have one last cruise, so I think your good.

Palo's, OTOH, is another story I believe.

:figment:

Bruce did the first year and when he saw that he was in the minority wearing the jacket I'll never be able to convince him to wear one for triton's again. I believe last year he wore a shirt and a tie, and that was dressed up for the crowd.

I'm going to vote for choice #1 or #2. Because Ken has never cruised before, I want him to be able to see Animator's Palette for sure. We have ressies for Palo on the last night, so #3 wouldn't work with that.

Mary, Mary, Mary. ;)

Are you taking lessons from the cheaters in this group?

#1 OR #2 -- sorry, can't have both.
