Mark has always worn a suit coat to Palo for dinner every time except last year. We hadn't planned on Palo at all and were able to buy him a dress shirt and tie in Treasure Ketch but didn't want to go to expense of a jacket (not that they had any).

For Palo brunch he's always worn a polo shirt and dockers. That's what he wore to Triton's last year as well.

The Wonder is a much more casual ship than the Magic. At least on the shorter voyages. I'm sure the 10 and 11 day cruises will have the formal nights.

Okay gonna take a breather, and will be back hopefully sooner than later! lol

WOW!!! That is just fantastic, no wonder your head is spinning. I'm so happy for you and your new family! I'm sure there'll be lots of suggestions from the younger parents here.

Cheryl, hope everything falls into place for you and you are painfree in no time.

Jeff, congrats on the 200 posts!

To throw a quick comment, I'm not even packing a jacket. Havn't thought yet about shirt and tie, but definitely not even concerned about a jacket. The Wonder is the less formal of the two ships, mostly due to the short length of their runs. I'd probbaly bring a jacket on a 7-nighter.

Just so you know we aren't in the same room typing this at the same time. :rotfl:

I know Julie. We've seen some strange sites in Palo. Had brunch one time and saw a woman in a tank top, shorts and flip flops. She was not super model either and just looked tacky. Palo is a nice place and people should dress accordingly.

Hello Cruise Mates! I can't believe I'm writing this, but we have a new baby to bring on board! He made the cut off by 2 days(being 12 weeks). We adopted him 2 weeks and are just now getting settled! lol
The caseworker that did our homestudy for NJ will be here today to start the papers for finalization! :goodvibes (takes a bout 6 months-3 visits).
He is so beautiful and I can't believe we have him in our arms for good!
His name is Nathaniel. He will be 7 weeks old this Friday. When we were placed with him he was 8 pounds and now just shy of 11 pounds! :rotfl:
Of course now i have 101 questions about traveling with a newborn! Are the pack a play cribs they will give us will be clean? How many sheets should I bring? How terrable expensive his bottled water on board to make formula. I'm actually thinking of getting the liquid just for the cruise so not have to worry about mixing. We will be at the parks for 4 days prior to sailing, so i would use poweder for then though.
Omg! My head is spinning. I'm usually a organized person and I'm starting to panic that I will forget something now, since this is the first time that I'm a mommy to a baby.

OMG!!
That is such wonderful news! Congratulations!
I love his name too.

Important Dining Poll:

I just got off the phone with DCL regarding early dining for our cruise. For those of us who have decided to link with others from this thread for dining, I'm going to take a poll as to what rotation you would prefer so that I can note that to DCL.

Here are the options:

1. Triton's 5:30 This would be TAAP
2. Animator's 5:45 This would be APPT
3. Parrot Cay 6:00 This would be PTTA

4. I don't have a preference

If you could please post your preference here, I will pick up the results.

I don't want any hard feelings, so whichever rotation has the most votes is what I'm going to request.

Keep in mind this does not mean we will get this rotation, it's only a request.

Thanks.

Cindy

I don't know about my table mates but I prefer option #1.
I likw getting the "fancy" meal out of the way plus we had that rotation last year and relly liked it.

Can we add the 4000 that I just hit to the 16,000 of this thread to make the 20,000?

Mary,

I put out a shout for all late diners to contact me, and we would link them. No one has responded....So here goes again...Any late diners want to be linked please PM me. So I have no idea what time I will have. But I am still wait listed for early dining!!

Not to put any pressure on you, but if there is going to be linking for late dining, the information is going to need to be to DCL soon.

If you need a contact at DCL, let me know.

Let's see.

One voted for option #2. One voted for option #3. And, the "cheater" hasn't voted yet.

That he does, I was just rather surprised to find him lurking from work.

You dine at the same resturant as the night before. Are the late seating people linking dining? We'll have to figure out when and where to meet up for the bus. I would think the ideal would be if those of us on early seating got the latest "early" time and those on late seating would get the "earliest" late time. Gee I wrote that and it even confuses me. :confused3

Does that mean you're changing your vote to option #2, with breakfast in Triton's at 7am?
