OK, OK, I can take a hint! If you would let me know what information you need I promise to get signed up! Sorry for the procrastination. :teeth:
I did raid the local Home Depot Mickey paint samples to make magnets! We also bought a package of magnets from Michael's.

My siblings and I had a 70th birthday party for my Mom last Saturday night. There were about 70 people there from Cal., Washington State, NC, Va, Md, Pa and NJ! Now that this is over - I'm getting even more excited for the cruise! :Pinkbounc
Chris

Chris - you don't have to but if you go to the website (click the logo in my signature) you'll see the adress to send it to and all I need.

If for whatever reason someone doesn't want to sign up for a button etc. that is totally their right. No pressure. Sadly however I've had experiences in the past where someone misses the deadline and then isn't happy about it. That's why I keep mentioning the deadline.

Good morning everyone!

Roxann - sorry to hear you won't be going to Greece, but yeah that you still get a free trip! Enjoy it no matter where it takes you!

Yesterday was a pretty emotional day. Mark had heard they were re-running the orignal Today show on MSNBC so he DVR'd it for me. Wow! Most of what I had seen over the years was taped footage. To see it live brought it home even more. I think adding to the emotion was how cold, dreary and rainy it wa here in Chicagoland. It was a good night to hit the sack early.

Well I see I misread the question, it was supposed to be your first trip to those places I guess. Well here goes again:

Disneyland: na
WDW: first trip was in 1980. Never got to go as a kid so by golly I went on my honeymoon. It was fantastic! Since we had already been living together it had to be something really special. This was! We had a Contemporary tower room overlooking Cindy's Castle. Everything was so magical to us.
It was only the MK at that time but they had a Moonlight/Midnight cruise along the Lagoon w alcoholic beverages as well. I remember my Pina Colada was delicious. They also had Discovery Island which was kinda fun too. I remember eating at the "top of the world", the restaurant on top of the Contemporary. There was no GF yet either. So small, WDW was but yet still so special.

Can't remember the other firsts.

Going for the physical for the new job today. Wish me luck!

oh yeah, I wanted to let everyone know Cafepress has a big coupon:$10 off $25 with code DES134. Enjoy!

Ilene - good luck with the physical today!

Thanks for the Cafepress code. We already have our stuff but I know it will be very helpful to others who haven't ordered their SSMC06 stuff yet!

I guess that means I need to get around ordering then? :lmao:

Oh-by the way, I was in there the other day and the Infant/Toddler T-shirts come in blue and pink now! Who got the pink womens shirt? Julie? Is it cute? Can you take a pic?

How do I find the SSMC06 stuff on cafepress? I'm not getting any :( but want to show Mike all the options so he can decide if he wants to get "walking advertising" for pediascribe or pediacast. :)

Thx. :)

Ok, here's another one that has been unpacked. It is also supposed to have a crystal knob on top, but I haven't glued it on yet, because I didn't want it to break off in transit.

:surfweb: Good Morning everyone,

Only 7:30am and I already have a grump on. I HATE rule changing & micro-managing:furious:. Something that has been perfectly fine for four years is suddely no good and for no appearant reason. So I'm going to drive around in circles, do my thing and smile... HAVE A NICE DAY::cop:.

Amy I love the clock - what a cute idea. You're right it would make a great gift. How big is the box? Is it big enough to hold papers or something like a post it note pad of paper? Nice work, can't wait to see the others.
Thanks Gail - the box is about 7"x7"x7", so it's a pretty nice size. Apparently, it was originally designed as a greeting card holder. We also made divided tabs for inside.

BTW - Amy: Did I compliment the clock? If I havent yet - VERY COOL CLOCK. If I already have... well it deserves it... Great clock.

Chris

We did a surprise party for my Mom's 80th birthday.

Joke was on us, though, because she came with a woman who drove her around and told her she just needed to stop at the country club to drop off a gift for a shower. Then she told my Mom that she wanted her to come in to meet the woman's family. My Mom refused saying she'd much rather just wait in the car. No coaxing would get her out of there. So, Sandy came in without her and we were all set, yelling surprise as she rounded the corner, alone. :confused3 :confused3

We were like, now what do we do. We though about all of us going back out there, but that would have totally ruined the surprise. So, Sandy went out and insisted that my Mom needed to come inside to meet her family (ha, her family). So, they finally did, and rounded the corner into the room we had, and my Mom looks at Sandy and says "who is this party for???". :rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:

My one and only attempt at a surprise party. :rotfl:

I hope your Mom had fun!

This was supposed to be a surprise party BUT on Thursday of last week my Mom said to me "If you kids are planning a big dinner for me I will walk out". And, knowing my Mom, she would. So after a bunch of phone calls we decided we would tell her so she could prepare herself. Turns out, multiple people that shouldn't know it is her birthday have been wishing her a happy birthday! She also received cards from people that shouldn't know it is her birthday. That is how she knew.
Alls well that ends well. She is over being mad - though she did ground all of us kids. She was over last night asking for pictures and commenting about how great a time she had. I'm glad it's over. We told her the next time we plan a party for her, she won't be around to enjoy it! She told us she is going to write a letter to dictate what she wants for her funeral! I just hope that is not for a long time.

I did get the pink and we will try to take a photo tonight - I like it very much! I'm not a big fan of white t's on me :)
