Cindy - I'm not close to being caught up yet but my post count will rise today like no other before!

Keep posting. Hopefully you'll hit 200! :thumbsup2

Julie - BTMRR didnt open until sometime in 1979 or early 1980. My first trip on it was in February 1980 and we nmade annual trips in February back then.

MH2004 Crew - I was at the DIS meet in the Land but arrived late and was more shy then. I remember talking to Gary and Karen from LI but can't remember their DIS name. I owe them a DVD of MH still.

To the New Cruisers - Welcome!!! Post lots and smile when I film you on the cruise (unless you don't want to be filmed of course).

I'm up to my elbows in seating this afternoon. Who said this was going to be easy? :faint:

There are 89 of us who have contacted me to be linked. I'd say that's a pretty good group. party: :disrocks: party:

Actually, the woman Amy originally contacted at DCL is a dream to work with. I couldn't ask for anyone better so far. I know it's going to work out but I'm surprised once I'm putting it on paper, how confusing it can be to make it all work. I have to work within their guidelines so it's just a bit of a challenge.

Good thing I'm out of here in another 1/2 hour. Ladies night out --- Margaritas, here I come. :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

We appreciate all your hard work Cindy! It will be great having everyone sitting near each other!

WOW are they gonna have us all on the same dining rotation???

Squid

Chreyl - Thanks for the heads-up on the Living Seas with Nemo!

Julie - Great to hear your procedure will work out well!

Cindy - Thank you for organizing early dining. :thanks: I certainly appreciate your efforts!

Squid - I hope we can sit on the same seating as it will make filming dinner that much easier! But seriously, whatever DCL/Cindy do is icing on the cake.

Now for these questions I missed from last Friday on:

1. Disneyland – 22 – I was on a training trip after starting my first IT job out of college and spent 2 weeks in Anaheim in August 2005. I was at Disneyland every night and my favorite memory was riding Indiana Jones which opened that summer (1995).

2. Walt Disney World – 2 and ½ in February 1976 – This was the first year of our annual trips as a family and my mom tells me I made her and my grandmother ride IASW and Dumbo over and over. My favorite memory of the early trips was going back to the room and watching the EWP on Seven Seas Lagoon. Honorable mention goes to meeting Mr. Smee as he was the only character we met every trip back then. Oh, my parents, brother and grandmother were on the trip.

3. Disney Vacation Club (first stay as a member) – October 2003 – I was 30 – My mom came along since it was during F&W and she had like 2 days vacation left that year. We did F&W and Halloween Party and favorite memory was getting looped on the wine booths and ducking into Mexico to get away from the sun and into the A/C.

4. Disney Cruise Line – SSMC2005 – 32 – With Casey (my niece) – Favorite memory was the picture Casey took with someone we met at our table at dinner the first night. It was not digital and Casey has it in NJ framed next to her bed at my parents’ house. It was with their “Nothing” desserts and Casey gave her best smile in years for it.

5. Tokyo Disneyland – Never been.

6. Disneyland Paris – Never been.

7. Hong Kong Disneyland – Never been.

Part 2:

1. How many brothers & sisters do you have?
One brother 6 years older.
2. What is your birth order? (I know Steve, middle child syndrome for you -- I've read your tag )
I'm the youngest.
3. What was the house like that you grew up in? two story that my parents bought from my grandparents.
4. What did you do first when school was over? Went home and did my homework, then played with neighborhood friends. In High School went to MB practice or in the winter bowling team practice, our motto was ‘It’s Free!’
5. What was your kindergarten teachers name?
Miss Connolly – took a while to remember.
6. What did you play with as a kid?
Matchbox/Hot Wheels cars; Star wars figures and toys; collected baseball cards.
7. What was dinner time like as a child?
We ate as a family every night with no TV watching allowed.
8. What major news event do you remember from when you were a child?
Spaceshuttle Challenger explosion; Oliver North; Pete Rose and I do remember Bernie Goetz.

And finally Part 3:

WHERE WERE YOU/WHAT WERE YOU DOING:

- on 9/11? (9/11/2001) Working at Prudential in Roseland, NJ. They sent us home early after both towers collapsed and we were off the next day as well.

- when the space shuttle Challenger came crashing back to earth? (1/28/1986) In 7th grade. I didn’t find out until lunch since our class didn’t watch it live.

- when Kennedy was assassinated? (11/22/1963) Not born yet.

- when space shuttle Columbia broke up? (2/1/2003) Don’t remember where I was exactly.

- when you Nixon resigned? (8/8/1974) I was 1 and ½ so I don’t remember.

- when Reagan was shot? (3/30/1981) – was at home. My parents were more into it than I was, I was only 7 then.
