Amy, what an awesome project. I just love that clock. Where are you going to put it?

However, I will get the instructions that they did give us if anyone wants it. They said that every clock is "alterable" and they all work the same, so I'm going to give it a try.
::yes::

Don't you know it! I plan on making these for all my family & friends for Christmas. They were really easy to do. The funny thing is that this one didn't have a lot of direction. We were given a lot of supplies, and some ideas on how to design it, and we were left on our own. However, I will get the instructions that they did give us if anyone wants it. They said that every clock is "alterable" and they all work the same, so I'm going to give it a try.

WOW Amy, that's awesome!! And they have totally cheap clocks in your favorite store, Walmart!!
And add me to the list of instruction wanters!

Luckily for me, my living room is in sage green and pale yellow, so this clock will go perfectly. And, there is no clock in that room, so it will fit right in.

Ok, here's another one that has been unpacked. It is also supposed to have a crystal knob on top, but I haven't glued it on yet, because I didn't want it to break off in transit.

WOW...so cool..I love it and can easily see why it's your favorite. I'm getting ready to leave for AZ this weekend. Was it very hot?

Neat box Amy, but I definitely like the clock better.

Can't wait to see what else you did, keep the pictures coming.

Well, compared to FL right now, it was bearable. It wasn't humid, so even though it was hot, it was more comfortable for me. I think that it was in the low 90s, but lots of people said that it was cool for this time of the year.

Actually down from last year. Last year we had 73 rooms and 205 cruisers. A couple of reasons I think. 1 - time of year and cost had some people drop out and 2 - like I said in an earlier post I know that there are some cruising with us who haven't signed up for whatever reason.

OK, OK, I can take a hint! If you would let me know what information you need I promise to get signed up! Sorry for the procrastination. :teeth:
I did raid the local Home Depot Mickey paint samples to make magnets! We also bought a package of magnets from Michael's.

My siblings and I had a 70th birthday party for my Mom last Saturday night. There were about 70 people there from Cal., Washington State, NC, Va, Md, Pa and NJ! Now that this is over - I'm getting even more excited for the cruise! :Pinkbounc

Okay, I just finished rereading the thread for SSMC03. Boy were we a boring group; hardly got to know each other at all. But it was fun looking back to see how the excitement built and what everyone had to say, little as it was. Thanks for posting the link Mary.

Well, that's it for pictures for tonight. I'm exhausted and I think that I'm going to bed early tonight. I've got everything out of the suitcases, but tomorrow I'll need to get it organized and see if I can take some more pictures.

This years theme is Celebrating Magical Milestones so tell us about your first time at each of the following that apply (including how old you were, who you were with, where you stayed and best memory of that trip).

1. Disneyland - My family went to Disneyland in 1978. I was 11. I don't know why, but I don't remember Disneyland as much as I remember Universal. I think I only have pictures from Universal where I was in the remake of "Airplane".

2. Walt Disney World - My first trip was in 1985 for my senior class trip. We went to MK and Epcot. We also went to the Luau. I think I still have the tea saucer from that dinner tucked away in my garage!

3. Disney Vacation Club (first stay as a member) We bought DVC in Feb 2000. DH and I were getting away for 3 nights without the kids to celebrate our upcoming 10th anniversary. The night before we left I received a job offer. I spent the raise on DVC before I even quit my old job! The first time we used points we went to The Sagamore in Lake George NY in Nov 2000. We went to BWV in Dec 2001. We asked for a room that was not by the bridge because we read online about the noise from the boats everytime they passed through the bridge. Our room looked out over the bridge! Since our kids were still napping age - we asked to move our room. When we moved it we were right over the shops on the boardwalk by the docks, you know, where they honk their horns everytime they enter and exit. Then the last two days DH got a stomach flu and was down and out. Not our best trip! Ever since then, we have stayed at OKW. We love it there, quiet and centrally located to all the parks!

4. Disney Cruise Line This one will be our first.

5. Tokyo Disneyland - Nope

6. Disneyland Paris - Nope

7. Hong Kong Disneyland - Nope

Still trying to catch up from the weekend!! :surfweb:

Tim and I had our second getaway to the Member Homecoming. Only 2 nights this time. We had a WONDERFUL time! We really loved Dancing on Main Street. The desserts at EPCOT were yummy too! Obviously, we were not DISers then.

WHERE WERE YOU/WHAT WERE YOU DOING:
-9/11 - At work. The payroll girl announced to the office that the first plane crashed into the WTC. I caught what I could on the radio and internet until my lunch break, then I saw it on TV.

- when the space shuttle Challenger came crashing back to earth? (1/28/1986)
At home because it was a snow day in NJ. I remember my best friends brother coming over my house and we were all watching it on TV. That (former) best friend's brother is now my husband.

- when Kennedy was assassinated? (11/22/1963) Not born yet

- when space shuttle Columbia broke up? (2/1/2003) At home, my husband saw it first then we watched it together.

- when you Nixon resigned? (8/8/1974) I was 7, I don't remember.

- when Reagan was shot? (3/30/1981) I was at my Mom's. They interrupted General Hospital to tell us that the President was shot!

Thanks Mary for the link to the SSMC03 thread - hey, I posted a whopping 1 time!

Diana I was just a few rooms down from you on that cruise. We were in 7552.

We sure weren't as chatting as this group is!

Amy I love the clock - what a cute idea. You're right it would make a great gift. How big is the box? Is it big enough to hold papers or something like a post it note pad of paper? Nice work, can't wait to see the others.
