My DD14 and I have been debating whether or not to go on SSMC06 as she would miss school, and we have made our decision.

Can you guess? I called DCL yesterday and officially cancelled before we would get into the 50% cancellation period. Hopefully, someone on the waitlist got a call and is extremely excited about going!

It was a difficult decision, but I think it is the right one for us. I know we will be missing a WONDERful time!!!! Please have a Konk Kooler for me while you are enjoying Castaway Cay. Oh - make that 2 Konk Koolers - one for each visit to CC!!!!!

:drinking1 :beach: :drinking1

Have a great time!!!!

I guess I better go delete my clippies -- oh, oh more tears... :sad1: :sad1:

Good morning and a little catch up...
First of all...WOW, Julie your dress is just beautiful...from the back anyway, LOL. I'm sure the front is just as gorgeous and you will be a beautiful bride. I'm so excited for you!

Congrats to everyone hitting milestones, Kurt, AnnMarie...anyone else.

Cheryl at least gallstones are easily dealt with and you know what it is. Different people recover differently. Some have no problems/issues and others react to fats in their diets as I think someone else mentioned already. The gallbladder while not terribly difficult to live without is there
for a reason and that reason is fat metabolism and the storage of bile. We all tend to do OK without it though. Good luck, recovery is pretty quick with the laser techniques they use now.

Update on job prospect...well it looks like the job opportunity is on again. Sheesh. I still have to pass a physical though on the 12th so we'll see. I'm not even sure I can put that many hours in (52/wk). At my age I was hoping to cut back not increase :confused3 But maybe temporarily I can handle this. I will have to most likely cut back on computer use and hire someone to clean my house (awww, darn it). I'm most concerned about vacation time though going from 5 wks / year (which I mostly banked though) to 2 wks is tough.

I have a question for all you CJ'ers. If you don't mind sharing, what's the theme/topic of your CJ? Curious minds want to know.
I know this question came up several pages back, but you guys were chatty yesterday!!! Gee, you go back to work, and all of a sudden, everybody starts :hyper2: So, I'm starting to try to catch up...

Anyway, the theme for my CJ is "I feel like a kid again!"

I agree, it is something you could live without. You'd actually be suprised what body parts you can live without.

Good morning everyone!

MickeyMagic - sorry you and your daughter won't be joining us.

Like an appendix. I remember when I woke up after my surgery that Mark told me the surgeon told him he had taken it out as long as he was in there. He said it wasn't needed and that he only told Mark so that if I ever complained about having an appendicites that it couldn't be true. :lmao:

GOOD MORNING ALL! Seems like just yesterday we were doing all the excitement over 15,000 posts.....................

OH WAIT it was yesterday wasnt it :teeth: :teeth:

I am up early cause when I finish my 24 on the 'bulance I am going straight to the FD for 8 hrs. Then we have meetings tonight so I may not get too much posting done today. I will check-in as time allows. Have a great day everyone!

SQuid :firefight

So we had a very busy posting day yesterday. What will today hold :confused3

Cool - I got 15151! It is the little things that make us happy.

With all our posting yesterday I didn't realize it was a milestone day. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the start of the thread. Yep, last year on September 6th is when Jim Lewis announced the 2006 Member Cruise while on the 2005 cruise. As soon as we got out of the talk Robin started this thread.

All this talk of scrapbooking got me motivated and I visted Archievers yesterday at lunch. It had been a couple of months since I was there. I picked up what may be my Circle Journal for SSMC06 if we do one (which I'm hoping we will). Even picked up some prima flowers. Diana - how do you attach them?
