I've heard you can't have creme brulee :lmao:

OH NO!:scared1:
You didn't call my doctor and tell him to agree to this did you???

I painted the kids bathroom - the color is creme brulee - of course they just rolled their eyes at me and told me I'm a dork.

Well if they have to take it out hopefully they can do it laproscopically. A couple of small cuts and lickety split they are done.

I love reading mouse matters. I can't believe that the Night of Joy is so bad. and that Disney would sell so many tickets. I'm surprised that people don't kill each other. I think I would have just walked out without doing anything.

To Matt and I it sounds like Disneyland on a summer Saturday night - it was wall to wall people last year and VERY scary!

For some, yes. Some ppl cannot tolerate fatty foods at all. My surgeon said I probably had gallbladder disease for a REALLY REALLY long time (about 15 yrs) before it ever got bad enough for someone to check into it (I did not fit the *typical* gallbladder profile, so no one ever checked it.....besides, my pain was never intense for 14 yrs, 11 months and 3 weeks....so it never raised a red flag) ANYWAY.....I digress.....my surgeon said b/c I probably had it for so long, my body had learned to, in essence, function without it.

Now, if I eat a really really fatty meal, I can have abdominal cramping and....well, what follows abdominal cramping. But it's rare. And then there are times I can have a really really fatty meal and just be perfectly fine.

I had mine out about 2 years ago (unfortunately not laproscopically, but that's another story). If I have some higher fat foods I don't get cramps but i will.....I can't believe i am posting this.....but I start burping.
My son things it;s hysterical when that happens and he gets me laughing sometimes so then I get the hiccups so now I'm burping and hiccuping!
I live in a wacky house!

It's kind of why Mary and I arn't attending the Not so Scary. I don't recall how NoJ worked, but we went to a Not So Scary on a weekend. It was everything Mike describes for NoJ, It was a VERY SCARY Holloween Party. Just wall to wall people. Now, I don't think anyone going to this one will have the same experience, but the event will be crowded, don't doubt it. And really don't want to do that then hit the road for home.
I've heard MNSSHP is much more crowded on weekends and also the closer you get to Halloween. I have to say, though, when we went last year it really wasn't bad at all. I think we were there on a Tuesday though.

CURT - JEFF, did you guys read that!!! We're sitting with a burper at dinner who wants to pick Stacy's dessert each night?:rotfl2:

We had some down time today on duty so I watched JAWS. What an excellent movie that is! Robert Shaw was great as Quint!
I remember going to see it at the theater when I was a teen and it was such a great movie then and still is fun to watch now.

Squid

We made the mistake of watching it shortly before we went to Hilton Head. It scared the daylights out of the kids the first time, but then we convinced them that it wasn't real. They still chose to spend less time in the ocean this summer.

See now I'm going regret that post...I can see it now.

Cameron & I went last year on a Thursday night. It was really very empty and as we were leaving, they were almost begging Cameron to take more candy. It did rain and I'm fairly certain that kept some of the crowd down. We had a blast and are very muchlooking forward to it this year.

Stacy, I think your in trouble now! :rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:

Ok well that seemed to take forever to get caught up.

Well we have made it thru the first day of school! Yea!!! :cheer2:

I had more "homework" then Nick. I couldn't believe how many things I had to read, fill out, & sign.

I can't believe that one of the things his class is doing is an overnight camping trip in 2 weeks! The funniest thing about it is, it's at the same place that we camped with Boy Scouts for spring camporee and the events they are doing sounds are just like what he did at camporee so this should be a breeze. And yes I sent an email to the teacher offering to be a chaperone. Well see if I get picked to tag along.

::yes:: They did that to us, too. We were almost to the exit gates and there were cast members shovelling handfuls of candy at us.

Yummy CANDY!!!

We're going on Halloween and I am prepared for huge lines. The big thing for me is the fireworks and parade so as long as I do those I am good to go - Matt's only request was Liberty Tree Tavern and we got it!
