How about another set of GTKYFKK Questions??

1. How many brothers & sisters do you have? 3 sisters 2 brothers

2. What is your birth order? (I know Steve, middle child syndrome for you -- I've read your tag ) Middle child

So, just how do you get to be a middle child in a family of 6 kids?

I know how I got to be one, I'm just curious about your explanation.

How about another set of GTKYFKK Questions??

1. How many brothers & sisters do you have? 1 brother, 4 yrs junior

2. What is your birth order? Not just first, first of my generation in the entire family, talk about the high expectations.

3. What was the house like that you grew up in? Ranch, two story, condo, apartment?? 2 story frame house, grandparents lived in the upstairs apartment.

4. What did you do first when school was over? Did you go home, to a friends, to a babysitters, daycare? Walk straight home, then basically left to my own devices till dinner, but with instructions.

5. What was your kindergarten teachers name? I have no idea. I was the star of the class as once she found out I could fully read, she'd regularly make me read stories to the class.

6. What did you play with as a kid? The big GI Joe stuff, 6 Mil Man stuff, lots and lots of plastic junk.

7. What was dinner time like as a child? Most of the time straight on family dinner, but very simple and most of the time very overcooked meals.

8. What major news event do you remember from when you were a child? I wasn't very news oriented as a kid at all. When I was little I'd spend after dinner upstairs with my grandparents watching LW bring out the bubble machine.

btw, if you didn't catch it in my siggy.....new mouse matters is up. :)

U TOP! :)

pdfg pixiedust:

I love reading mouse matters. I can't believe that the Night of Joy is so bad. and that Disney would sell so many tickets. I'm surprised that people don't kill each other. I think I would have just walked out without doing anything.

It's kind of why Mary and I arn't attending the Not so Scary. I don't recall how NoJ worked, but we went to a Not So Scary on a weekend. It was everything Mike describes for NoJ, It was a VERY SCARY Holloween Party. Just wall to wall people. Now, I don't think anyone going to this one will have the same experience, but the event will be crowded, don't doubt it. And really don't want to do that then hit the road for home.

Good luck Nick. pixiedust: It's scary when they change schools. I'm sure he'll do better than Mom today.

I have been stressing something aweful. So much so that my face broke out. I feel like a pimply high schooler!

Janet - you've gotten some good advice. If you have any hobby stores in your area (like Michael's) or a dedicated scrapbooking store check with them about starter classes. Also if you watch QVC the usually have scrapbook days or hours from time to time and include complete sets.

I had been interested in Scrapbooking but it wasn't until a co-worker invited me to a Creative Memories house party that I really got into it. I personally love there shapecutters for pictures and cardstock. I would hate to actually add up all the things I have purchased from creative memories but I just love their products.
Don't get me wrong I shop my local AC Moore, Michaels and LSS and I too am a sucker for the stickers and embellishments.

We had some down time today on duty so I watched JAWS. What an excellent movie that is! Robert Shaw was great as Quint!
I remember going to see it at the theater when I was a teen and it was such a great movie then and still is fun to watch now.

Just a question,

Has anyone hear any whispers about MK refurbing the Indy Cars to a Cars character theme. One of the fellows at work said he had heard that the cars were going to be refurbed to look like Lightning McQueen and the other racers... Anyone else heard this through the grape vine?

I hadn't heard that!
That would be kind on cute.

Dress sneak peek photo from my fitting this weekend. Ignore the tags and safety pins - it's being altered now... you can also see that I will need to do some tanning to get rid of that lovely bikini line

I really agree Curt. But the problem even goes deeper than just that. I see all these newscasts about some mope who got "famous" by tempting fate with WILD ANIMALS and the press make him out to be a martyr or something and then "oh yeah btw some cop died in NY state trying to protect the citizens" is like a tiny blup if at all. Very frustrating to me too.

Squid :firefight

( getting off me soapbox too)

Ok I agree with you. Granted wild animals man did help Australia I guess in some way but because he was a "Famous Person" Is why he headlined over something in my opinion was definately more important.

(off my soapbox)
