Also, my sister informed me last night we are at BWV after the cruise not BCV. Why I thought BCV I haven't a clue. I am having senior moments at 38 years. This can't bode well for me.

My senior moments started around the same time! I figure at least I can blame the forgetfulness on Senior Moments!

Don't feel bad, I turned 37 this summer, and I'm already having senior moments too. I also call it "mom brain" because it seems that since I've had kids, I'm always forgetting things, or I walk into a room for a reason, then I forget WHY I went in there.

I think the girls know about it because they've been extremely whiney this morning.

The Cheetah is on now. I LOVE the Cheetah!! I met both Lisa and her son last month. It's funny because her son was handing out the registration materials. I thought, man that guy looks familiar. Then I looked at the cover of the program and there was a scrapbooking layout with his picture!

It's been awhile since I posted in the thread. SO busy!

Wow....894 pages!

We are going without the kids.....we were planning on flying my sister down from NJ to watch the kids. She was so excited....we flew her down last October and went to Hilton Head for a couple of nights and she had a great time. It was a mini vacation for her as well.

Well, her work schedule didn't work out and when I was just about to book her flight, she was unsure if she could make it. When she finally said she could, it would have been tight....she would have to be back to work by Friday meaning that we would have to get off the ship, drive 7 hours back to Georgia and rush her to the airport. I was going to use frequent flyer miles for her flight and I couldn't even get the times we need. I was going to have to book the flight cash instead.

We were contemplating cancelling the cruise!!

Well.....my parents came to the rescue! They live in Florida...about a 6-7 hour drive (well 8 for them ) I had hesitated to ask them to begin with since they are 75 and I thought that it would be too much to ask of them. I called them and played it off like it wasn't a big deal to cancel our trip, but asked if they were interested in watching the kids. They were EXCITED about it!! They will come up from Florida on Friday morning. We will leave Saturday and stay at the Residence, then go on the cruise. I told them that we would drive back on Thursday.....my Dad said "Well, you are getting off the ship on Thursday morning, right?"......."Why don't you stay an extra day and relax before heading home?"

Wow....no need to rush home after the cruise! We will probably still go home on Thursday since we will miss the kids and want to tell my parents all about the trip and all about the crazy DIS board members we met on board

We are now SO looking forward to the trip.

I was really hoping to have a new car to drive down....looking at a Mustang GT convertible, stick shift....but it may not happen now. I was approached by a Corporate VP of my company about a fantastic position at work...would definitely be a promotion and was right in line with my background. The new CTO was putting together an Architecture/Engineering team and they wanted me to be on it for the Unix technolgies. Looked like it would fall into place...then I could get the convertible car I've wanted.....well, they told me today that although most other groups are spread between 4 offices, this group will be in the NY Office and that I couldn't do the job from the Atlanta Office I moved from NJ to build their new Data Center, we love it down here and we don't want to move back...even for a better position. Looks like I will just have to wait for that promotion.

We may still end up with the car....my wife and I are working on the numbers to see if we can swing it without strapping ourselves. Have to wait and see if the dealer can even find one.....the convertible stick shifts are tough to come by....we're looking for a 2006 leftover to get the end of year clearance pricing. If not, then I will wait until the spring, get my bonus, and order a 2007.

PS I have been having senior moments since my 20's. I blame it on my DH and DD. If I didn't have to remember their schedules and mine too I would be okay. A brain can only take in so much information!

DD has a Birthday PArty to go to today. So, I have about 3 hours to myself and the only thing I can think of is cleaning. How sad is that?

We have had a little change in plans, I got a really great DING yesterday, and couldnt pass it up, $39 to Tampa for October. The airfare to Orlando was $92 each way. So I am flying into Tampa at 9pm, (Tim didnt think he could get Sat off work, but had managed to do it after I booked the last flight out) I am hoping for a deal into Orlando, and we will change, but as of right now, we are flying into Tampa, renting a car, and driving to Orlando. Due to this, we will not be getting to the Orlando area till around 11pm Sat, so I booked a room off property, and canceled BWV. But we will now have a car that we plan to valet park at BCV and take the party bus. Then I have to drive him back to Tampa after the cruise, his flight leaves at 2pm. So it will be alot of travel, but is well worth it. Then the girls and I are there until Sat afternoon when we fly back out of Tampa.

I set up our family for the Magical Express. I still have the rental car and will cancel that soon.

Sheila at MS said they send out the ME package 30-45 days before departure. So, in 2-4 weeks I should have my luggage tags!

Hey Tina - since we live just west of the Tampa airport, I can confirm that the drive from Tampa to Orlando isn't that bad at all. They are still doing some construction around downtown Tampa, but it's MUCH better than it used to be. And, once you're out of downtown Tampa, the speed limit goes up to 70 all the way to Orlando!! So, not in rush hour traffic, we can get to WDW from St. Pete in just under 1.5 hrs.

I was looking at my rental car contract (I got a GREAT rate) and with the cost of the rental car, parking for 4 days @ the Port and GAS I figure we are saving about $215 using the party bus. That pays for over half of our meals in WDW because we are using the dining plan. YEAH! It will feel good to have one LESS credit card charge when we return from vacation and no hassle about rental car insurance, etc.

Richard Hatch was stupid along with his accountant. Like hello you don't win something like that on TV then "forget" to report it to the IRS.
