Thanks Cheryl! I don't qualify as I already have a card and Matt's name is not on the DVC docs at this time. Sometimes these offers make me so frustrated!

We had the same storms roll through here as Mary did earlier -- only ours hit about 4:30 a.m. We needed the rain, but looking outside at the puddles, I don't think we got as much as it sounded like.

The kids stood at the corner for the bus this morning in the downpour, though. Walker was rearing to go again, trying to head out the door about 7:30 for the 8:15 bus pickup. I suppose it's much better than the alternative of him not wanting to go to school. Cameron, OTOH, would still prefer to sleep until noon.

It's really strange having only little ones here -- it's actually very quiet during the day. Playing music helps -- an easy way to get a Disney fix. And, then they all nap for the afternoon -- which makes it even more quiet.

I'm sure Diana is already in WDW and enjoying one of the parks right now. I wish I was with her -- even though I just got back. Cool that some of you are going between now and the cruise. I can never get enough Disney.

Roxann, hope you have fun at your amusement park.

Janet, cool about Barbara Streisand. Enjoy the concert!

Curt glad everything worked out for both of you. Karen nice to hear from you again.

Janet did you get tickets yet. Sounds like a great time. What a month you are going to have.

I just booked our tickets for our trip in Jan to Disney for the girls gymnastics meet. Spirits price went down to $49 each way. I am so happy. Now all we have to figure out is where we want to eat.

I wonder what Diana is doing right now? I bet she is having a great time. Time for me to get some housework done.

I just found out today that Barbara Streisand is coming to Toronto!

Lucky for me, she will be here on October 17th!

I have always wanted to see her live!

I have received some checks today for the bus ride (emailed everyone) and I am glad DH and I are not the only people with Disney checks! Checks Unlimited is making a small fortune selling Disney checks! They are all so cute!

Sorry I missed Diana and glad to see you posted Karen!

I haven't been here much either. I've been very sick for about 10 days. I thought it was just allergies but last Friday was the worst. I went to work but felt sick all day and when I got home my temp was 103! I felt so sick I went right to bed and finally went to the health center on Saturday and found out I had pneumonia! The doctor immediately put me on IV fluids and meds. I spent 4 hours there and luckily didn't get admitted to the hospital but ended up missing a going away party for my God-child's brother. He is going away to college next month but there was no way I could attend the party. The worst part of Saturday wasn't being sick or missing the party but the fact that I was at the health center and Shawn left for Philly and I didn't get a chance to say goodbye. I was so upset!

I was back at the doctors yesterday and given two more prescriptions. My lung capacity still isn't where it needs to be so I'm out of work until Monday. Other than the coughing, breathing problems and unable to sleep - I don't feel that bad! I have to go back to the doctor in a month for chest xrays and blood work to make sure I'm better. Tom says he's going on the cruise with or without me so I better get well quick!

We are going to drive to Philly this weekend to drop off Shawn's stuff and we'll spend the night so I'll get plenty of rest. Take care all! Annmarie

Cool news for the Barbra concert!

DH was trying to talk me into going to a Cirque show that is coming to town October 19th. We leave VERY EARLY on the 20th and even though I love Cirque shows I thought the timing for us was bad. So, we will just have to make up for it while on vacation!

Holy Cow! Hopefully the new perscriptions help.
My Dad had pneumonia a few months ago and it just knocked him on his butt.

Went for my walk in the park tonight, then to pharmacy to p/u scripts, towels in the dryer now and I'm going to relax b4 bed.
