Good TV night for me, so I don't know if I'll make it back. Survivor at 8, Grey's Anatomy at 9 and then ER at10. I also want to check out that Six Degrees show on at 10....so that means I have 4 hours of TV to watch in 3 hours. Thank God for the DVR! I still haven't watched that Studio 60 show from earlier in the week. I need to get going on my TV shows, or I'll never catch up.

I am on a quest to find Elmo too. After I drop off the kids at gym I am going to all the stores around here to find one. I am on a mission.

I'm sure you girls are enjoying the chase but.... couldn't you just order from Toys R Us online and they would send it when it comes in? Just a thought.

Don't know if anyone follows the budget board, but I found some info on there that may help someone, so I'm sharing it....

I called my cable company (time warner) and just said "i'm thinking about switching to satellite but i thought i'd check and see if you guys were running any specials....."....

well, surprise, surprise,....they were....my cable/roadrunner bill will now be $31 less per month for the next 18 months (at which point i can re-call and check on what the current specials are.)

just thought it might help someone!!!


btw, it's kinda like the cancelling AOL thing they had on there recently. two quick calls have saved me over $45 a month!!!

Hmmmm $45.00 per month - $540 per year! That would be some nice vacation spending money or maybe you could buy some more points!
Congrats on finding the bargains!

Speaking of bargains, Does anyone buy their admission tickets somewhere other than Disney? We have one annual pass (mine) and I need to buy tickets for the rest of the family. I was checking on Mousesavers and I didn't see much savings.

don't tell. We hide Christmas presents in the garage in big empty boxes. The kids never suspect anything but stuff is in them. Of course, if you saw our garage, you'd understand that as who knows what's really in there.

When we moved into this house, we found a baby doll up in the attic. Being we moved in Thanksgiving weekend, we think it was probably a gift for the little girl who lived here.

And, then there was the deer leg Gary found under the workbench in the garage. But.....that's another story.

I've heard that some people don't clean their house when they move out, but a deer leg??? Yuck

Just before the last price increase we bought our tickets through ticketmania. Better prices and fast shipping. HTH.

Darn it I lost computer access for the last 3 days and now I'm 48 pages behind!!! I don't have computer access really yet but since I was supposed to have it in my room and don't they gave me free wireless internet but it's only available in the conference section, So here I sit at 9pm in a deserted conference room trying to download my mail and read DIS online. I'm too tired so it will have to wait until tomorrow night or Friday am when I am home again.

Anything important that I missed since Sunday?

Have a safe trip home! Curt has a challenge for all of us. You'll have to check it out. If you guess what it is he will buy you a konk kooler at CC.

Wasn't 6 degrees a show on the Sci-Fi Network a few years ago? It was about the next evolution ov man (HomSuperior) and their treatment of us lowly HomoSapiens. I don't think it lasted a full season...

You guys think that you need to get your act(s) together?!? We leave for Disney in 20 hours. Things I still need to do:

-Go to two stores
-Laundry
-Dishes
-Cut the front lawn
-Clean litter boxes
-Pack
-Set up the VCR for my Tigers stuff

Hmmmmm... I think that's it. No pressure.

31d 9h 9m 0s ota till we be cruising...

Karen and I had an opportunity to sneak down for a weekend trip so we'll be airborn in just over 12 hours. Then we have to come back till October - .

Since Karen and I will be out of town this weekend and I see there are at least TWO even numbered days in that time frame - rest assured. I'm taking the laptop and will be updating the pic on Friday and Sunday. To compensate for the black hole that was the last clue, I will tell you this....

I'm back. Didn't go postal but also didn't win the 42" Plasma TV that was the grand prize in the raffle. Did bring home lots of little junk.

Speaking of winning, turns out Ian won a drawing at Little Gym last week during their 30th birthday celebration. We found out this week when we arrived and picked up his prize on the way out, a $20 gift card to Starbucks. Hmmm, do you think 21 months is too early to start a caffeine habit?
