I could have sworn I saw potty elmo on your wedding registry! :confused3

OK, I went to BJs, Kmart and KB Toys--again, Elmo in every way, shape and form (I saw several Potty Elmos) and no TMX Elmo. The more I can't find him, the more I want him!! :rotfl2: I guess that's the whole point of these things. And I fall for it, hook, line and sinker. :sad2:

Good TV night for me, so I don't know if I'll make it back. Survivor at 8, Grey's Anatomy  at 9 and then ER at10. I also want to check out that Six Degrees show on at 10....so that means I have 4 hours of TV to watch in 3 hours. Thank God for the DVR! :worship: I still haven't watched that Studio 60 show from earlier in the week. I need to get going on my TV shows, or I'll never catch up.

Studio 60 was excellent - as was kidnapped.

ER WOW nto sure if I like the direction we are going here but it kept me mesmerized!

I'm sure you girls are enjoying the chase but.... couldn't you just order from Toys R Us online and they would send it when it comes in? Just a thought.

Chris

No none of the online stores are taking orders at this time.... lol but I wish they were as I refuse to buy one on ebay for more than I can buy it in a store. And BLAH to the diser (who is not on this thread) who has 10 and has already sold one for $125 on ebay. Makes me ill

So we went to that warehouse store today and I will tell you that if you speak to a supervisor they can tell you when their shipment is "scheduled" to arrive and how many. All TX stores are set to get them on the same date.

I'm sorry, I'd post more but we only need 2 and I don't need a fight in the parking lot so I'm keeping this close to the cuff!

Matt will be at the store the day they are set to go in.

Ok crew - There is less going on here then at work, so I started this little mental exercise. This is post 17,314. 20,000-17,314=2,686 needed to reach our goal. Divided by the 31 days remaining means we need 86.645 posts per day.

Yack it up! :hyper2:

Too bad you are going to be away! You'll need to log in so that our post count continues to grow.

:chat: Congratulations Curt on 400 posts! :chat:

Don't know if anyone follows the budget board, but I found some info on there that may help someone, so I'm sharing it....

I called my cable company (time warner) and just said "i'm thinking about switching to satellite but i thought i'd check and see if you guys were running any specials....."....

well, surprise, surprise,....they were....my cable/roadrunner bill will now be $31 less per month for the next 18 months (at which point i can re-call and check on what the current specials are.)

just thought it might help someone!!!

btw, it's kinda like the cancelling AOL thing they had on there recently. two quick calls have saved me over $45 a month!!! :)

I recently did this with my phone service. I told them I was going to cancel my land line and just use my cell phone and Comcast told me they had a new offer for digital phone service and it would reduce my monthly bill be $15 per month. I said that I'd try it and was told it would cost $200 to send someone out to istall the new service so I told them to forget it and within 2 minutes I had the reduced bill along with free installation. I never thought to ask about the cable bill itself. I think I need to call Comcast back to see what their offer will be.

I recorded Studio 60 on the DVR the other night too. I need to sit down and watch it. I also watched Kidnapped and that was pretty good.

Tonight, I, of course, watched Survivor. Then, CSI and ER. I didn't watch ER at all last season, so I was a bit lost, but I kinda caught up. Very odd episode. CSI was interesting too. I wonder how it will all turn out next week.

I'm with you, Julie!! I won't pay almost $100 more for something than it's worth. I'm sure that you'll eventually get one, but it seems like they are definitely hard to find right now.

Speaking of winning, turns out Ian won a drawing at Little Gym last week during their 30th birthday celebration. We found out this week when we arrived and picked up his prize on the way out, a $20 gift card to Starbucks. Hmmm, do you think 21 months is too early to start a caffeine habit?

DD started drinking decaf vanilla frappachinos at 18 months. Hey, we're from Oregon :confused3
