Connie - your cover up sounds fab! I purchased the disneyshopping cover up and managed to order the wrong size (not hard with disney) so it's a bit big. Matt's working on shrinking it down a bit ... so I'll be the woman in the black mickey cover up (not personalized) with the big white floppy mickey hat!

I'll look for you in your Mickey mouse outfit! I should have Chuck take a photo of me in my new dress.....it's definately Dis Green!

Question, How many posts does it take to be in the Blabermouth club?

It doesn't matter how many posts you have - it all depends on whether or not you are sailing with the blabbermouths. The blabbermouth thread started as the May 27th 2006 Double Scoop cruise. We all had so much fun we're doing it again in early June of 2008. Right now the date looks to be June 7th. If DCL goes back to their normal Eastern/Western rotation it will be an Eastern. If they do something special who knows.

2008 dates should open up in September or October.

Okay! I was never a big fan of Crocs because I was concerned about sweat and also I have a wide foot and wasn't sure they would be comfortable but after reading the posts about Disney Crocs I will definitely check them out!

Mary - I never knew how to check for number of posts either so thanks for the information.

I was really hoping we received a special email from DVC about SSMC06 today but nothing yet! BTW, does anyone have their countdown clock set for SSMC06? While it has the 2006 symbol, under the clock it states, "Vacation you selected is S.S. Member Cruise 2005". Not to be picky but I hope someone at DVC updates it to state 2006!

As for another DVC Member cruise in October 2007, Tom said he doesn't know if he would want to go again and I told him I'll miss him! SSMC05 was so much fun and I'm sure SSMC06 will be too. I don't know if I'd want to miss the next one. It sure would be great if we were able to make a reservation for the next one while on this one!!! DVC are you listening??

I just figured it out today that I have not received one in 6 months!

Thank Goodness you guys keep me informed!

I sent DVC an email asking why and then I PS'd as to when to expect information regarding the Member Cruise! Hey, couldn't waste an opportunity!

I'll let you know what I hear from them!

I took the girls to their class today up in Saratoga today and found out that because it's so hot here, they closed the racetrack. I'm so glad they don't make the horses run in this heat. I guess that's a first here that it was cancelled because of the temperature.

I couldn't believe it either when I heard they closed the Racetrack. That's never been done before that I'm aware of but it was the best decision for the safety of the horses and spectators.

Well another warm day here but at least we will be getting a little break. It's only supposed to be in the mid to high 80's today.

Good morning everyone! Nasty storms rolled through last night and this morning. Lost power for about an hour last night. Thank goodness it wasn't longer. Only supposed to be in the 80's today which will be a welcome relief.

They were nasty but we kept our power on. It's still raining here which puts a big crimp in our plans to go to the petting zoo today.

Today was supposed to be the cool down day and now they are saying that's going to be tomorrow. I'm tired of not going outside, that's for sure.

I'm heading back to the gym today after an almost 2 week hiatus. If I don't post this afternoon, my classes killed me.

The emails have already started from my family about what to get the girls for their birthdays. I hate coming up with stuff like that. I have such a hard time. Emma's bday is Aug 28 and Julia's is Sept 30. Because all of Bruce's family lives in Ohio and all of my family lives in NYC, we do one big combined family party at the end of August. But this year because I'm going to WDW, I'm doing it on August 20th, which means I only have 2 weeks to through this whole shindig together.

Just taking a minute to pop in and say hi! Having a great time and the family reunion was great!!! My sisters and I drove so many places in NJ over last weekend we thought we had spent more time there than we had. Saw a few friends I have not seen in 30 + years - it's been great. Most probably I will be home again on the weekend.

Good morning everyone!! I'm glad to see that some of you are getting some relief from the HOT weather. It still supposed to be around 90 here, but that's ALWAYS the summer forcast here in central FL (high of 90-91-92, with a 40%-50%-60% chance of rain). The only reason that I ever check the weather in the summer is to check the hurricane forecast.
