:cool1: I am so excited! I decided to check my email this morning and there was one in my inbox from JetBlue stating they have a sale fare going on. I plugged in the dates for our trip in October and guess what? The prices dropped again!! I immediately called their 800 number and received another credit for $220!

Back in April when gas prices were going crazy we decided to purchase our tickets for SSMC06 and paid a whopping $864.20! I never would've paid that much normally but while in the midst of making the original reservation the price changed and I stated okay to proceed without looking at the price difference. Any way, the price dropped once already and received a credit of $290 and now today was like winning the lottery. We are now only paying $177.10 each after all of the taxes. The base price is $79 each way!

If you are flying JetBlue I suggest you check your departure and arrival times. If the price has gone down, JetBlue will issue you a credit that must be used within one year. While I don't really like someone else (JetBlue) holding my money (credit of ($510) for me at least I know our airline tickets for our next trip are already paid for! :cool1:

Have a cool day everyone! Annmarie

For anyone who hasn't done so already - head over to CafePress and see the great store that Diana set up. Some great things to order to help you remember this cruise! Remember that the plan is to be in matching shirts for sailaway! The nice thing with CafePress is that everyone can pick a shirt that is right for them. Be it a fitted shirt for women, or a colored shirt for those who perfer that. Thanks again Diana!

Great infomercial Mary! I haven't ordered our stuff yet. All of my extra cash has been going towards scrapbooking!

For those of you that don't know--the store can be found at http://www.cafepress.com/ssmc06 Right now they are offering free shipping with a $50 order. I'll add the disclaimer again that no one is profiting off of this store--these are cafepresses actually prices and you can verify that at the site.

Great news on the airfare Annmarie. We don't have JetBlue here. :guilty: Our only options to FL are US Air that doesn't even fly directly there anymore or Southwest. Luckily, I go a SW Ding for $59 for our airfare down. But they just released our coming home date last week and it's still pretty pricey---so I may not be coming home from the cruise....I'll have to stay in FL forever!! What a tragedy that would be! :lmao:

I guess this means that I don't need to ask if you want to trade for VWL points. I'm beginning to think that the only way I'll ever get to HH is to trade with someone, and I'd prefer to trade with someone I know.

I know!!!! Maybe sometime Gary won't be able to go and you'll need someone to travel with!! I'll volunteer! :)

Mary, this you'll have to take up with Gary. I'd say there is a chance he'd give up a trip to WDW but I'd venture to guess that he's not ready to part with a trip to HH. :)

So here is the skinny on out week Camping out with the Boy Scouts. Like I posted previuosly we had a lot of fun.

Our camp site was huge and we had plenty of tents and many empty tents. The camp provides the tents which are wood pallet floors with wood frames then green canvas like something from a WW1 movie (I'll have a link with pictures at the end of the post).

We had meals in the Dining Hall and we would have to send 3 boys down about 15 minutes before the meal so that could set the tables and be the waiters for that meal and then they would have to stay to clean up the table.
Let me tell you they fed us well. We did not have one bad meal in my opinion. They even did a "Christmas in July" one day where the dining hall was decorated and Santa stopped by. Oh and you ALWAYS sang a song at meals (the songs were really goofy and cute).

We had a little rain the first night but the majority of the week was warm and humid. We did get a downpour on Friday afternoon. Now let me set this up for you. All the tent flaps had to be rolled up in the morning before the boys went off to go do their stuff because they do a site inspection everyday. Well the boys are gone and the only ones in camp are myself, Jeff and 2 of the older boys who are the Patrol leaders. Well it starts pouring like mad so we are running around the camp to put the flaps down on the tents so that everyones stuff can stay dry. Well we got soaked down to our undies.
It was such a riot!

We got the highest score on our site inspection one day so the next day our Troops flag got to fly at the camps main flag pole. We had to have 7 of our boys be the colorgaurd to raise and lower the American, State, & trrop flag in the morning and lower them at night. Well Nick was the only "new" scout that got picked for the colorgaurd.

We also did some goofy things too like fly a pringles can and some swim trunks from the flagpole. All in all we had a good time.
There wer so many other things but this post would be huge!
So enjoy a couple of pictures!

I can't wait for our Fall Camporee in Saratoga State Park at the end of September. Their will be a Native American Festival going on at the park that weekend also so the boys will be going to that.

Cool pictures, Stacy. I can't wait to share them with Cameron so he can compare his week with Nick's.

So, that's how I have to get you to move here, just make the airfare too expensive to go home???:rotfl:

How hot is it everywhere? It's 75 here already and it's only 8am. We're supposed to hit 100 today. Thank God for AC and swimming pools!!

Wow, that's hotter than it is here!!! We're in the upper 70s already, and should hit right in the mid 90s (which actually is HOT for here since I'm so close to the coast).

I'm so ready to move before winter hits. It came up in conversation again a few nights ago....I have a feeling Bruce was thinking about winter. :lmao: He asked me to research how much the house down the street that just sold went for. They keep saying that the market isn't good for sellers--but this house sold in 2 weeks. :confused3

The airfare is at $122 now. It's not superexpensive, but compared to $59--it's a rip-off!! :lmao:

That's the one thing that I don't miss about living in Chicago - WINTER (and traffic)!!!

I know what you mean about the market, though!! We have had several houses in our neighborhood on the market for months. Several of them have had signs with "reduced price" on them. Good houses, just a slow market.

It's going to be another hot on in the Chicago area. Upper 90's and a heat index of over 100. It is already in the 80's and sticky outside and it is only 7 am.

Ok, I know that Mary saw it, but did anyone else see that the 4-night cruise on 10/21/07 is NOT on the dcl website??? Hmmm, maybe another DVC cruise in the works??? Wouldn't that be great!?!?!?!?

Also, for any eBayers out there, they are offering 50% off listing fees today only.

That's right I saw it last night and meant to mention it. Could be another Member Cruise. It would be the first time they have done it at the same timing as a past one. We'd be up for it but I know Cindy said she wouldn't go again if it was during school. Wonder if we will hear anything before we board for this one.

Hey maybe that's our gift this year. Book one SSMC06 and get one free SSMC07. Yeah right! :lmao:
