Julie - I'd talk to you photographer and ask what they have done in the past during construction. I'm sure there are areas that they can use to still give you beautiful shots. Please don't stress too much about it.

I got sick the last glass bottom boat I took in Nassau, and the eco tour sounded hard. I'm sure we'll get things to do.

thanks everyone! Yes, I've had the information a bit now and it's confirmed, and we are trying to work through our Planner. DPS's current solution is not acceptible to us. I'd say more but I really don't want to put anything out there until we know for sure as this forum is public

Sigh many of you have so wonderfully inquired as to what is going on with the wedding plans so I thought I would share our most recent situation - http://130.94.75.33/showthread.php?t=1176727 - we're booked for MK photos on 10/31/06 at 6 am and I cannot even explain how disappointed we are at this point as from what I hear screamscape is pretty accurate.

That stinks more than last weeks diapers!!!!!

That really does stink. But just remember, in the big scheme of things it's only photos. You'll still have all your wonderful memories. And I'm sure they'll come up with something to your satisfaction. This is Disney you know.

I never got some pics I wanted at our wedding because someone's parents left right after the ceremony. And then that same person's brother decided when the photo taking was over even though there were other shots I wanted. It's been 5 years now, and though I'm still not thrilled with what happened it just doesn't matter that much anymore.

Julie-- No matter what, you'll have amazing photos and memories of a place most people only dream about having a wedding.

My only advice is to follow the progress of the construction closely and see what other brides did last year when they were putting the gold stuff up and even in past years when they've done contruction. I'm sure there are others who have been in your situation.

Thanks Diana! We are lucky that we have a good 6 weeks to know what we are up against since the painting starts late Sept. I feel horrible for those Sept couples who are either just finding out or who do not know yet. Here's hoping it's better than we think - I really want these photos... heck I booked them in October last year to have the date and time we wanted - lol - it's like booking CRT.
